I may or may not have scored a couple authentic KFL+ v2 RTAs on flea bay. They were listed as the real deal, but the price tells me they'll be clones. I don't care really. If they're clones I can make them work if need be. My original, genuine one is coming up on 5 yrs old and there's literally nothing to wear out. I'm more likely to lose a screw or an o-ring, that would be unregulated and can be replaced fairly easy. Or possibly drop it out of an airplane or skyscraper and break it. The one I have has taken a beating over the years and still good to go. I just like the idea of having a couple functional pieces for back up.

With the liter coming today I'll have 2.4. With a little decrease in mg that'll last over 13 years. A little goes a long way [emoji3]

My mech squonkers are easy to maintain. I'll probably pick up a couple of spare mm510 connectors, already have spare bottles and tubing, cutting new copper contacts is simple.

My regulated squonkers are a couple of pulse mods. I like them a lot, but am honestly equally happy with the mechs.

I have a handful of regulated box mods (2 solo and a few older ones), but don't sweat those - tanks work equally well on the squonkers.

A couple of normal modern tanks, just-in-case of fumbly hands.

A couple of classic mech tubes, with some small toppers (e.g.,vapefly galaxies rdta).

Life is good [emoji3]

I was vaping but not diy so it never bothered me at the time
Sadly, I think the vast majority of vapers here in the US will be caught in a similar trap.

Heck, there are even some here on ECF who continue to proclaim that DIY is not for them.

The Jackaroo hits a few things I wanted in the stockpile - 21700 capability (a little more futureproof), extremely rugged (I pound nails with a ProVari), and as an added bonus - Voltage mode! I may be done in the mod department. Maybe.:D
I picked up several mods that take the different battery size too, just for insurance for the future. Didn't get the Jackaroo tho. But that is a great price!

I look around the webz where vapers are and I do not think folks are really understanding the mass panic that is around the corner. I don’t mean here at ECF necessarily, but some folks are just now beginning to realize what’s happening - and by that I mean people who either casually or generally go to vaping FORUMS (already a minority of vapers, I assume, by my experience with the general public at a vape shop).

So if even HALF of the people who frequent vaping forums don’t really know what they’re “going to do” or are just now asking about DIY - not saying that ALL vapers who stay current in these things post on or read forums, of course - I can figure roughly what this is going to look like IRL after the bans. (This is the mental exercise I use to prepare for the worst fallout after the fact.)

I’ve cried a few times about this; not for myself. I think about all the people I helped who struggled with their devices and taste buds and cravings and how sometimes just a gentle nudge or help with a single coil kept them vaping and away from cigarettes just long enough to get the swing of it. My heart is just broken about this.

And my heart breaks when I see folks posting their four to six bottle “vapeocalypse hauls” and they seem so proud that they’re getting ready for the bans. I know that a lot of people cannot drop much money upfront in preparation for the next several years of their lives or did not start vaping until recently or are young and have long lives ahead or are not thinking really hard and realistically about what’s about to happen. But one day folks are going to swing by their shop and it will be closed and you know they are going to go buy a pack of smokes and say “screw it.”

I think it comes down to, how badly do you want to continue to vape and be independent :) For me that is the point of stocking & DIY.

Likewise. I have no intention of ever going back to cigs. I had the advantage of seeing what was coming 7 years ago and doing my homework then. I made a plan and bought what I could when I could over all that time. So now it is odds and ends and the few shinys that I always wanted.

Me too, I will never smoke cigs again, not after all my hard work to quit! I will vape for as long as I want too, that's my plan :)

Yup. There's a free preview playing in Massachusetts right now:
Massachusetts banned e-cigs entirely... smh

Like others, I backed out of purchasing on VapeNW because of their ridiculous S/H. I had $41.47 worth of small, lightweight stuff in my cart, but the only S/H option showed $17.01 by Priority Mail. Took everything out except 9 boxes of extremely lightweight coils, and it only dropped down to $12.46, again by Priority Mail. I know for a fact those could ship for First Class Parcel rate. Oh well! ;)

There are plenty. Although I don't use REOs, the squonkers I use take the same sized bottles and I have plenty, both the original, relatively hard REO style, and the original Italian SuperSofts that I ran a CoOp on back in 2015. So if you're ever desperate, just PM me.

Thank you so much! :) I will definitely keep you in mind.......and it wouldn't be too far to travel, either! ;)

Oh, how I miss those CoOps! Got some great 'stuff' that I'm using to this day, but for the most part, they're in my stash. Old school 'stuff' is still good 'stuff'! :)

I sent a contact email to VapeNW. Their shipping info indicates they do offer normal first class package service, too, though it isn't showing as an option.
Yeah I’ve bought several times from them and shipping was lower so I was wondering what was going on.

Right; I have a fuzzy recollection that we're in the same ZIP code when I'm down here in FL (which isn't all the time, unfortunately).

In my heart I don’t thinking vaping will go away completely. It will probably be regulated and expensive. But cigarettes are expensive as well. I think vaping will still be an option. Maybe? :(

Haven't you heard that orange is the new black?:lol::lol:

Ok so I bought one using your code and it came to just under $20.

Here’s my color justification. I bought orange to celebrate the little boy who is a huge Tennessee fan and who was bullied for his handmade UT shirt and now he’s pert near famous with a full scholarship and his shirt sales breaking UT’s website. I do not root for Auburn. Let’s make that clear. *giggle*. And I don’t like bullying. So orange for no bullies! YAY

But now I have to buy coils for the tank...o_O
