I quit watching news in 2008 during the presidential elections. It was just depressing and worrisome and I felt lied to and just completely overwhelmed by the talking heads. I read what I want to read. I particularly enjoy watching cute animal videos.I hardly read the news, don't watch it on Tv either, I live in my own little non news bubble and I love itI do watch for vape regulations, but feel it's all over in May so I concentrate on my stash LOL More fun!
Something fun and uplifting. I do keep up with the weather some days, but I did not on the day I needed a heavy coat.

I get you and the day I stopped listening to NPR was one of the happiest of my life. I realized they had this CYCLE: Thing that will kill you, pandemic ANY SECOND, that woman Diane whomever asking inane questions in her gravelly voice (I'm sorry if you need VOICE treatments you should get off the air) of the "progressive topic" of her choice, highbrow book review, back to things that will kill you, slanted politics, etc.
It was when like, I realized that I enjoyed the endless FUND DRIVES more than the content, I was like "enough."
However, most of the time, you need more than a headline. You are then falling into the trap of like the herd (even if it's in reverse) you should really read more of the article EVEN if it's just to confirm how, and how much it sucks.
I spend about 15 minutes on liberal news because then I talk to Mr. A and I get the "other perspective," so to speak. It's unpleasant but I do it.
I will say, my dad's thoughts on America are so freaking weird now. I think the international community is like, ONLY given certain news.
He has asked me "Am I close to Texas, and was I affected by the mass shootings." I was like, "Dude, look at a map."
He has opined that it should not be "That hard to weed out the crazies and the violent and take their guns while you know, keeping the 4th amendment."
I told him it was ALREADY illegal for ME to own a gun and like did he want that for me, his beloved daughter, and I also told him as far as the 4th amendment was concerned I should have my choice of the tank or like smart bomb of my choice. I also explained that "identifying the crazy or the violent" was impossible because it's more of an IDIOLOGY "snap" moment or like poor parenting and if the government could get the guns away from the "crazy and the violent" they would probably do so but the "crazy and the violent" are the BEST at owning illegal guns and the US government can't even get the CENSUS right etc."
Oh he also went on about healthcare. I was like, "Dad, I remember you being a TOTAL capitalist, what has happened to you."
Then he was like "OH BELIEVE ME LIKE I THINK ALL THE LOSERS SHOULD HAVE TO WORK."
I was like, "Oh how well I remember when I asked you for a LOAN like in a time of IN EXTREMIS and instead you sent me the book "Stop Treating me like a Child but First Can you Loan me some Money." I explained I took that book to the used book store immediately, and got 3 bucks for it, and was happy. I was also like THERE SHOULD be a floor you don't let citizens fall below, only that floor should be unpleasant enough that you don't want to stay there. Hmm. I am MORE of a socialist than you."
I also asked him if he knew a friend that was unpleasant and knew about that book or if he did some sort of "I hate my kid and I don't wish to loan her money," kind of a search.
I was like "NO MORE POLITICS." I have not heard from him lately but I may have missed, or been about to miss his birthday. He always gets miffed even though he never sends me anything. Except these epic emails. LOL.
My poor dad but I'm not gonna enable him with ignorance, he never enabled me with a LOAN and I'm still bitter. LOL.

Something I do lately is look at my vape supplies daily and ask, do you really need anything? My answers has been no lately. I still have odds and ends on route but I feel pretty content right now.
This is what I use for my Asmodus Luna, and quite happy with the way it works. On my Reos I remove the bottle.
The Hellbeast with air flow closed reminds me of the Berserker! More I use it the more I like it
