Speaking of lasting how long do you expect mods to last?
Well everybody can turn your clocks back one hour so you have an extra hour to spend spend spend, come on get after it.
That's (2.5mm ID) mainly what I've been using in the Silverplay. I just went to a 3mm ID coil and I had no trouble setting it up and it's working just fine.
What issues are you having w/ 2.5 or bigger coils?
Wow! I tried the mesh coils that come w/ the Hellbeast, I'm either using them wrong or they are just way too much (too hot) for me. Couldn't get any decent vapor below 30 watts and if I increased the watts, it was way too warm, actually hot for me.

How many wraps did you use when making the coil. I only did a 4/5 wrap of 28g Kanthal for .98Ωs for the 3mm ID coil and my 'standard' coil is a 2.5mm id, 7 wraps of 29g (not a typo, I like 29g) Kanthal for about 1.6Ωs. I don't have a problem mounting either of these size coils.

Which Silverplay? If it’s the one vapordna has on clearance, I’ve used both 2.5 and 3, 28 guage. Cram as much rayon in a possible. Put the cages on with its lid, then trim the wicks even with the cage. I bought, well... a LOT of them over time because they were easy to wick and didn’t leak. I’m not particularly a meticulous builder

I expect most mods to last a lot longer than we think. I've heard people allow for them lasting 1 year. But I have mods I bought in 2015 and 2016 that I'm still using and they work as well as when I first bought them. They may look a little rougher, but they vape the same. The only 2 mods I ever had that quit were internal battery mods. I do have a lot of mods stocked up, but I'll probably never need many of them. It's nice to know that I have enough to feel comfortable. However, I'm at home most of the time, so there are less mishaps that come when you're out and about. So your mileage may vary.
