DW made a prime rib, with loads of roasted vegetables, and garlic mashed potatoes.

Now I'm vaping the Cerberus with the stock bubble glass, the Marvec Hellbeast rba head with a 0.33 ohm twisted 26 coil, lemon killer kustard, on a Solo.

An awesome evening, but it's gonna be tough to get off my tail and work out tonight [emoji3]

The hellbeast rba gets a thumbs up, though I suspect they should come pre-installed with the 1mm thick ring. Trivial build, easy wick, very nice flavor, no leaking.

That makes sense, I was reading it wouldn't make contact so sounds like you found & fixed the problem :)
Marvec must have responded to early issues, since they did have the smaller o-rings in the box. Since I have no leaking on the Cerberus, the seal must be good.

It is nice to have an rba that's directly interchangeable with standard heads.

Standard recommendation for heartland, if you only need a liter, is to pick up a handful of bottles to reach the $50 free shipping. 4 8-oz glass bottles with caps, plus one random cap, should get you to just over $50.

Yeah that's what I did. I got the liter + enough glass bottles for every drop. Free shipping, winning!

I just picked a couple of the SMOK V8 RBA's for my hellbeast, I really like this tank a lot so figured I need some RBA's so I don't burn up my coil stash LOL! I also got the Innokin Disrupter body today and more batts for it. I want to use it daily and put away my others with replaceable batts for awhile. Trying to organize for the long haul ahead :)

Thanks for bringing up this topic. I was wondering which of the RBA decks to get for the Hellbeast. I'm up to about 10 of 'em now (disclaimer, 2 vapers in the house).

Do you know if a tank switch is need for the Hellbeast using the TFV8 head like w/ the Cerebus?

@markfm - when you changed the oring ... was that for the Cerebus or the Hellbeast? Or maybe the issue didn't matter which tank, had to be done for both.

I was reading people had trouble with this rba, did you get it to work?

On the cerebus the TFV8 baby RBA deck DOES need a glass switch. From what I read a bit ago with the Hellbeast RBA the cerebus doesnt. Now the glass is cheap from fasttech and decent glass I linked what I got earlier.

The big difference I see is the hellbeast RBA deck is single coil while the TFV8 baby deck is dual.

The Marvec "hellbeast" rba works in both the Hellbeast and Cerberus (& presumably the original Smok tank) without changing anything in the tanks - a definite plus compared to the Smok rba version.

The oring swap on the rba itself should be a one time activity. This is the oring at the top of the threaded section that actually screws into the tank base, the seal that keeps eliquid from leaking downward. It must be a manufacturing tolerance issue, but since they do include multiple of both the thicker and thinner rings I don't count that as a negative - just pick which one you need and that should be "it" (the same oring on the rba would work on both Cerberus and Hellbeast).

Thanks and thanks ... the Hellbeast/Marvec is the one I was leaning toward getting. You'll have helped me make up my mind. I don't do dual coils so that wasn't even a consideration.

    Somewhere between here and there
I can now confirm what another poster said in this thread (Was it Haktupsit?) The SMOK V8 Baby RBA deck with the $1.97 Replacement Glass Tank for Augvape Intake RTA Atomizer (2-Pack) 2-pack at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping does work on the Cerebus tank that comes with the Aegis Solo kit. I am sitting here vaping on it as I type this

Edit: That makes those tanks sustainable for me WOOOOOHOOOOOOO

Actually that was me. I searched through a lot of glass to find one that fit.

Well there goes another 20 bucks, but at least I got mixing supplies so I'll get a lot of value out of it.
In case you don't know, Gremlin has sale stuff each week (except this past week). Often you get 30ml of flavoring for a dollar. Check on Friday afternoons as they are in WA state, earlier time zone.
