Watch amazon for flash sales and Black Friday. The 8qt is $120+ regularly, I got it for $70. I got one for me and each of my kids, then the 3qt went on sale and I spent my 5% cashback and got one for about $10. I use one of them at least 5 days a week.
I bought a Crockpot 10 quart version for $79 but I am still on the lookout for the actual Instant Pot 8 quart for really cheap.

I was cleaning out an old small three drawer organizer and found some old mods. Two Trog screwdrivers, an xhaler, and a few others I’m not sure the name of.

That covers one of her christmas presents.
Unless ... she's like a friend of mine that buys everything she wants for herself (on sale), while shopping for the rest of the family.

We’ll probably just go and buy one. I hate to get her kitchen appliances for Xmas. I’m considering getting her a MacBook Air. I’ve bought her a couple laptops in years past that we’re lemons and she likes the MacBooks that the kids have.

Do you think the 3qt is big enough to cook for two people?

For some reason they don't like to get vacuum cleaners either...
One of the worst gifts IMO is personal hygiene stuff. Like its a hint that you need to shower better or something. Don't get me an Irish Spring gift basket please.

I know! And what if the Black Friday (I spelled it out this time...haha) sales are not that great?
This is exactly what I've been thinking. I'm trying not to order anything more until Black Friday, just in case the sales are worth it. I'm struggling though, my finger is getting antsy to click the checkout button.

stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
Rule of thumb for men buying women gifts.. Never buy her any item that plugs Unless you know she really wants it.. Ie hubby knew better than buy me a vacuum when I would like a nicer computer or printer.. We buy household items together making sure all the boxes are checked for both of us.

Also bathrobes suck as gifts....dont do it!

And I’m seeing a lot of things out of stock.

I was engaged to my long term boyfriend back in my 20’s. We didn’t prescribe to buying gifts for each other. It was refreshing. We would give small gifts at odd times or when we felt like it. Not when the big box stores or holidays told us to. I loved it.

I was one click away from ordering and my son said, “How many mods do you have?” Shut ‘er down...not ordering...today. :sneaky: He is such a voice of reason to be so young.
Himself says the same thing. Key is closed drawers, closet and bins. If you can’t see it, it theoretically doesn’t exist ;). Plus, voice of reason is soooo not fun!

I think my Luna might be here today, too. That one is getting stashed.

I hope I didn’t come off like a pompous :censored: in my last post. That’s the last thing I want to be. I just know I smoked for 22 years and I don’t want anyone to ever feel bad about preparing for bans.
Were you the one who recommended the gas mods g.r.1 rda? I’m racking my brain trying to recall who did

My family for years has this rule that we don't buy gifts for adults. Now that the kids are grown and almost 30 with no kids of their own theres no one to buy for.
My family won’t do that. I’ve tried but my Mom still acts like we are kids. She said we never ask for anything and she wants to give us gifts. I personally buy for 9 people. And I have to help my Mom shop as well and she reimburses me. You should see my credit card! So the holidays become work for me. I wish we would just stop the madness. Nobody needs anything either.
