My family won’t do that. I’ve tried but my Mom still acts like we are kids. She said we never ask for anything and she wants to give us gifts. I personally buy for 9 people. And I have to help my Mom shop as well and she reimburses me. You should see my credit card! So the holidays become work for me. I wish we would just stop the madness. Nobody needs anything either.
Cash works LOL So do gold bars

My wife has been talking about getting one of those. Sounds like a good idea.
Himself bought one for me. I was less than excited. I looked at it, “Look, space hogging thing I will never use.... you get one shot, then off to the pantry you go!!!” Haha on me....I use it all the time.

My brother had a late in life baby girl at the age of 50. She’s six and fun at Christmas. The other babies/young kids in our family don’t live close.
I love my nieces and nephews. The older I get, it seems I enjoy spending time with them even more.

Do you think the 3qt is big enough to cook for two people?
That would depend on weather or not you like leftovers. I try to cook every other day so the larger one works better for the hubby and I. 1 day we cook then we get a second day and lunch out of leftovers.

My godsend appliance purchase was my Power Air Fryer Oven. Broil, air fry, bake and dehydrate in one little gizmo and it doesn't heat up the house. Big deal with the summers we get here.

Grief this thread is hellbent on allowing me to discuss these appliances. MIL bought me an airfryer last Christmas (she got me the IP Christmas before last) and between those two I only use the stove half the time I used to. A single salmon filet cooks up beautifully in an airfryer. I’ve also done cheesecakes, homemade pop tarts, anything frozen the guys might want to snack on, French fries, etc. Huge fan. I might get a bigger one that does whole chickens.
