She was the wife of a world leader who was famous for all her shoes.
Ferdinand Marcos was a Philippine dictator from the mid 60s to the mid 80s. His wife Imelda by his side all the way (she collected a massive trove of shoes). They were enormously corrupt and robbed the Philippine people of vast amounts of wealth. He died in 1989 but Imelda is still around. They never did find most of the money they stole.

That looks like my son in law's collection. Different strokes for different folks. Much easier to store than bicycles or convertibles too!

I have a large shoe collection in a rack in my closet too. I have 12 more pairs than haktuspit. I’ve loved shoes since high school.

Dude I am. LOL they're open today. I will finish these alerts and like, head out. It is raining horribly but I can go to the drive through.

I did get my Squids, and 18 of my beloved green 20 amp Samsungs. I thnk they do hold up better overall. I just knew it would eat at me if I did not, so I did it and now... I am done.

I slept pretty well last night now I got to get my ricolas and also my dang med boxes into the correct amazon account. Sigh. It should not be so hard, however. The choices were curiously paralyzing .I figure I will level up on my med boxes by 2 weeks, and if they don't suck I will buy two more.

Then, black Friday shopping will be over for me.. Heh.

    Anna

Here's some kitchen pics. The husband did it ALL. You should have seen ib before or maybe not. We had to replace some appliances (microwave, dishwasher) the rest was ALL Mr. A and his sneaky tricks. Heh this is BEFORE varnishing and well, hardware on cabinets, etc.

Look at the tilework and the freaking sink. YOU SHOULD have seen it before, well maybe not, but that is what Mr. A does WHEN we leave a house.

We are buying a new house this time I am sick of it. LOL

Looks really good! I was having a hard time telling what kind of wood the cabinet doors are made of. Are those granite countertops?

Nice job. That should make selling the house quicker. Bathrooms and kitchen remodels add more value than most people realize.

I don’t think I have enough dropins but it’ll have to do for now. Since I’m building now I’m not using as many.
This is me. My FireLuke mesh tank is almost ready to be stored with the 50+ coils I have stockpiled for it, since I bought the Serpent Elevate and used it exclusively until I received my Topside 90w and Profile RDA which I now use 80% of the time.

It’s kind of a relief knowing I can be self-sufficient in that area but I’m still glad I have the premades.

    Omg!!!!

I ordered 2 drip tips from Angel's Heavenly Designs. I did not buy insurance,, so of course the post office lost the tips. I filed a lost letter claim - havent heard anything back & dont expect too. Meantime I decided to challenge fate and order 2 more tips,,,, that Angel! Angel made my first 2 tips as well! She doesn't owe me anything- I'm very grateful to her!!

Meantime I am waiting for an Amazon package,, I get this package that looks like Amazon at a glance,,, nope! It's a battery and the Microstick mod from @markfm _------ HUGE THANK YOU!

I FEEL SO SPOILED TODAY! :):rickroll:

I own exactly 3 pair of shoes that actually fit (Yeah its a weight loss problem)

The new sneakers I bought Monday Burgundy Brooks running shoes.
    A pair of flipflops
A very old pair of Sperry Topsiders from my teenage years that now fit again. LOL

I've never been one to own a lot of clothes and shoes.

My two ...g.r.t.(???) Gas Mods RDAs are waiting for me in my mailbox. I’m having the kind of day like @fiddleshe had the other day when she didn’t feel like making it to her mailbox, lol. We still have family over (I’m very glad to have them, for the record) but while they stay with us I can’t let my vaping freak flag totally fly and I want to be able to re-sort my stockpile without worrying if I’ll seem antisocial or like a hoarding freak. Lol.

I still have a lot on the way. FT orders, another Luna (blue Stabwood this time), Brunhilde, Armageddon (should be here soon, I hope), Jackaroo (just made it out of the Netherlands, apparently), and now the Pico Squeeze 2 I ordered this morning.

    sigh

    I own 5

    Sketcher sneakers
    A nice leather sandal
    Leather ankle boots
    Sketchers deck shoes
    A pair of Crox

I expect to get several years out of all of them,, except maybe the sneakers because I wear them the most & walk my spoiled dog in them daily,, all are 3+ years old now,, and appear near new except for the sneakers- but they aren't ragged out either

Technically 1 more,, high heels from my sons wedding

ooks really good! I was having a hard time telling what kind of wood the cabinet doors are made of. Are those granite countertops?

They are the old cabinet doors (which are made of particle board. The husband cut, glued and etc the real wood on top and he has found a stain that works for the actual cabinets, so that should be fine. He basically took EVERYTHING off and refinished it, it took him weeks but it was cheap. He wanted to know if it all looked okay or too vanilla because now he takes everything off and polyurethanes everything (I was like NO! Not too vanilla! LOL) so it will be shiny and there will be (new) handles.

That is not granite, that is a rather expensive (but not like granite expensive sort of Formica/plastic you GLUE down to plywood, The husband was like, having quite the time. The only expensive parts were the new microwave, the new dishwasher, and the sink (drop) and faucet. It is TOTAL Appalachia because I've seen it in person and you would NEVER be able to tell.

The husband also built out the one like, counter to be round and made the pillar, because it worked, visually and there's more space.

He really is an evil genius. He actually stopped the Washington monument from collapsing by figuring out an engineering error done by the company as he was reviewing doc... I guess I should not say too much about that.

He is ALMOST smarter than me and DEFINITELY so in like the areas I am lacking. LOL.

Oh god I just spent two hours in the Beautiful Mind Room. I have so much just... stuff. So much is being tossed and I don't need a DARN thing. Although I found a use for my LAST med box (which lost a door) putting drip tips in it so I might keep this one. I had to take a break, it is in its deconstructed phase. That's the worst. It's necessary but my whole house is Just So right now. Getting organized but you clean AFTERWARD. Heh,.

I found my true bottom that I was missing so yay. Etc.

OMG I have way too much vape stuff. I must STOP. I spent the whole time arguing with the kid about vaping. He's a good arguer I will give him that. He used to be like a libertarian but now he feels the vape industry should be regulated. I told him I didn't care what happened except for new vapers.

He's such a little SNOT. He was like, "Ultimately, vapers have a choice. They can just QUIT." He smoked lightly for like a year and a half. I was like, "Kid, I cannot just QUIT dude, I chewed nic gum for 6 months while knitting feverishly. This is the ONLY thing which allowed me to quit. I would have an oxygen tank or be dead by now do you want that? I was explaining my nic. He was like, "see, your eliquid well you don't have a clean room." I was like "I don't need one I just need to be clean." Anyway, it got a bit annoying. I told him "Kids die. They die all the time, everywhere," I was just trying to explain how they are being used. He was like "You should be mad at the corporations marketing to kids?" I was like, "Why?" he was like "Because liberal blather...." I was like, "Oh so kids can't make choices, YOU chose to vape after smoking and I LET you."

Anyway he kept saying I was upset. I was like, dude, I am not UPSET. I am actually fine. Mostly I don't vape during the day I don't want my work to know I vape. I use snus. I vape at home, and in my car." He was like , "You should you know, feel comfortable to vape where it is legal." I was like, "You are too young to even understand why I do what I do, kid." LOL we parted as friends as always.

Argh! Sorry. Well it was on topic .In an hour, I am going to reconstruct the room and there will be so much trash. Yay.

I have to dress professionally for work so I have a lot of heels, then summer shoes including flip flops. Of course you need ankle boots, knee boots, and all kinds of boots for winter in several colors. Running shoes in multiples as I used to be an avid runner and you have to switch the shoes up to avoid injury (I pulled a muscle in my .... training for a marathon after I completed a half marathon and multiple 5Ks and couldn’t even run for five minutes without pain so that ended). Then my flat weight lifting shoes when I was a gym rat. I forgot my grass cutting shoes in my total. I’m gearing up to start training again (from scratch). I’m going to a professional running shoe store to be fitted this time. I want to do a marathon and mark it off my bucket list. So see I have my reasons.

I had 2 gas mods in my cart open in a tab waiting for black friday. This morning they were sold out. I was really ticked at myself for waiting, especially because i had a coupon code and they were already only 7 bucks before the code.

We have cyber Monday and Christmas coming up. @FranC reminded me about New Years too. Sales coming out of our ears hopefully. I’ve always loved cyber Monday.

I think we need a vaping athlete thread! I run, a bit, mostly in winter when I can't cycle. I don't think I'll ever run a marathon, but you never know! I'm sure you will do it. I go to a professional running shoe store, too. Makes a big difference.

Back to the original off-topic topic. I also have wayyyy too many shoes. Due to the climate here and all the different current (and past) sports.

Yeah I don't have any reason to own as many shoes as I do, it's just something I like collecting and wearing.

Back to vape stuff. I begrudgingly put in my VaporL order of Picos. Only like 6.8% discount and then I paid $17 for shipping but I got 6 picos for around $22 each shipped and that's not too shabby. Still have yet to see any in stock anywhere else but VaporL.
