I think so too. They must have really strong hair dryers lolI think you just need more heat.

Porcelain or composite? Perhaps put a towel over the bottom the sink?

I envy those Lunas! I think the wattage would be too high for me.Hello All,
Sorry to be so awol. Just busy doing family/Christmas stuff.
here’s the Wasp Nano on top of my new blue Luna. It’s unbuilt but so pretty. Can’t decide what to do - use it, or stash it. Anywho - plan to catch up on the thread. Hope all y’all are well. View attachment 856475
Could be. Seems this should not be a big issue but I’m going to have to take notes when I wrap in case I ever get it right.Maybe you're just not holding it close enough to the battery?
Really?I tootle-puff a 1.4 ohm coil on my Luna! Vape is very nice using a Hadaly clone from FastTech.
Really?
I'm still stocked up on those from 2016Welcome to the Kanger stock up club. I'm here to continue cheerleading.![]()
Mine tooI'm still stocked up on those from 2016And yes my tanks from 2015/2016 are still going and with the original glass.
Fasttech has the RBA deck.I wasn't planning on more coils to stash, but guess I will LOL! Glad I have the RBA's too that came with the tanks.
He was using adhesive insulators and non-blowing type heat. And the job didnt look that great in the end.
This guy uses a hairdryer and no adhesive for the insulator:I think a heat gun is necessary
I used a blow dryer. About burned my finger off trying to keep the insulator on long enough to get that side to flip down. I have a heat gun somewhere. But where is the operative part of it.
And this is why the hubby and I have separate tools and tool boxesI have a heat gun too. But it’s out in the garage. I feel like Indiana Jones on a quest, to venture into that nightmare searching for something.

My hubby organizes by the pile method. When one pile slumps over he starts a new pile. The shed was mine, the garage was his. And he knew where everything was. But he had a very strange way of organizing stuff.
Thanks for the info!I'm a Kanger Subtank/Toptank/Protank 4 freak (they all take the same heads and the subtank RBA).
I can tell you that the SSOCC coils are getting increasingly harder to find. Most places that have them only have the 0.5 ohm coil. But if you're like me, preferring the 1.2 ohm, it's tough to find. But Fasttech has all of them for the best price I know of. $8.75 Authentic KangerTech SUBTANK SSOCC Coil Head (5-Pack) - 1.2ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
I don't know if Kanger is out of business or what, but these ssocc coils are definitely becoming extinct and so are their tanks.
So I would personally suggest you focus more on hoarding the RBA head instead of the SSOCC coils $5.81 Authentic KangerTech SUBTANK Mini RBA Plus Coil Head - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping The subtank RBA is probably the easiest RBA to coil and wick. I love it. I have around 20 personally. I'm getting a few more soon.
I found 2 USA sellers that have it if you prefer buying from the USA...

Kanger Mini RBA Deck for Subtank Mini & Subtank Plus
One word of caution about the RBA: you can unscrew the positive pin and it all comes apart to thoroughly clean it. BUT, when you screw that positive pin back in, don't tighten it too much (don't use a tool, just your fingers) or you will shear the threads right off where it connects to the positive part of the deck, then it's useless.
