It's still hard to understand how the nic suppliers aren't busy.

I don't know why you think nic suppliers aren't busy. Just because someone said heartland vapes is laying off people? For all you know that could be one or 2 people, which is normal for business, even ones that are doing fine. they also might have told her that to start rumors and possibly get sympathy orders. Anything is possible. Or maybe they just wanted her to get fired up ad join CASAA or whatever. One never know why one says what one says. It's just talk until you know it's not. No offense to anyone.

It took HV over 36 hours to get to my black Friday order. They must be busy. My orders have usually shipped within 12-48 hours.

The amount of buzz that heartlandvapes' current sale caused in this thread alone was pretty good. I didn't even check the buzz in the DIY section or other sites. I bought 6 liters alone an thinking of buying 2 more before then end of tomorrow. I'm can't be the only one.

But as others have probably said, the vast majority of people who vape are not people who are looking to DIY anything. They are happy to go with the flow of regulations, pay higher prices, go back to smoking or just quit it all.

Also as others have said, I suspect that the vast majority of the DIYers saw this coming long ago and did their majority of hoarding then.

Do you all normally open your stash hardware to make sure it works and that everything is as it should be from the manufacturer?

Or do you just put it away sealed from the manufacturer and plan to worry about it later when you plan on using it.

So I was on Kangerwholesale's website and another flash sale popped up, I believe it was an Smok e-priv 225 kit for $15, which is pretty wild considering it's now $64. Was going to post about it but dinner came, by the time I got done eating it was over.

Didn't discount when added to cart but once I started checking out it was $15. Only posting this as a heads up, keep an eye on them. Could be some really good deals if someone catches a good one and posts it to the thread.

*edited* Eightvape has the sale. I got confused.

Yes! In about ten years, I’ve only had a few duds... but in light of deeming, I’m not going to take the chance since I likely won’t be able to order a replacement if one is dead or wonky. Everything’s gotten a least a weeks run, cleaned, reboxed and stored.

I eightvape has the e-priv on sale for $14.95, too. But limit one per order.

Wow that's commitment. I have about 3/4 of my stash in shrink wrap, out of the return period.

Open it and make sure it works for mods. I have lots of tanks I have not tried yet.

Ugh that's where I meant! Got confused, I'll blame the delicious cheeseburger.

So yeah EIGHTVAPE has the Smok e-priv kit for $15, right now.

I open it, test it, and put it away. Most of it stays stored. The majority of my stash is either unregulated/mechanical squonkers, or bf RDA's, so I'm comfortable that if anything is wrong with the stash I'll be able to fix it with my spare parts stash. My regulated mods are mostly used to test/dry fire new builds and they don't get used much now.

Even tho I have tons of things to vape, I will miss these kits when they are no longer functioning. The Aspire K3 and the Berserker kits are just so light and handy. My fav form factor :) I get tired of heavy and square mods, but very glad I have them.

I do have a few Picos still in the wrappers (bought for loaners/set up a new vaper). I’m not counting on ever having to use them, and at @$10 each, not worth testing. It’s not like I buy ten mods a month ! Testing one or two out when they got here didn’t take much time. Plus, it’s fun to try out new shinies. Tanks though, I have all my favorites backups unopened. I can always piece out an rta for parts if it’s not useable as is.

Where the heck were you getting $10 Picos?

And yeah I was buying 10 mods a month there for a while.

I agree, I don't throw any broke vape hardware away. Let's say a mod is unusable for some reason, but the PCB is fine. Well, you can take it out of it's body, get a project box, battery sled, wire and some hot glue and make your own box mod with that PCB, if you have to and are ambitious enough. And if your stock is dwindling at that point, you will, or find someone to do it for you.

I keep all my packaging of product I am using in a box. I call it my "currently in use" box. If it breaks, I clean it and put it back it it's packaging and then put it in my "broke sht" box.

I always fire up mods when I get them. Never had a bad one though. Don't bother with tanks.

I am saving all my used coils now too. I was looking at a used Zenith coil today trying to figure out what coil was in there and how to get it apart. Need more time to contemplate that one LOL

I think the best mode of action for saving drop-ins is the carefully pull the coil and all the cotton out, clean the skeleton, let dry and store that way.

I got the Vaporesso Tarot Nano kit in the mail today. I wanted one of these for a couple years, but was unwilling to pay full price on an internal battery mod. For $14.95 I pulled the trigger. Haven't used it yet, but this sure is sexy.
