Wizard Labs has been around for a long time and has consistent high quality IMO. My first order from them, about seven years ago, sat in a cool basement, 250 and 500ml of 100mg in plastic. After nearly two years they came out colorless and smooth. No other nic I got at that time held up to my naive mistreatment very well.

I've since dropped our nic levels to 9mg so it's not as noticeable to taste and moved to cheaper nic that goes in the freezer immediately. I went for quantity - as long as it was colorless and smelled OK when it arrived, that was good enough.

WL may be among the pricier nic options but they have earned a lot of loyal customers. Very consistent.
Wizard Labs is all I’ve ever vaped. My 2013 WL stash of nic is still in use. I did figure out that WL’s nic is organic. Maybe that contributes to the high price? I stocked WL, NN, and NR. But if I buy more I’m going with WL since it’s my tried and true. I had issues with NR and they replaced my liter but it’s still nowhere near the quality of WL based on smell and color. And WL is two days shipping to my door. So I guess you could call me a loyal customer. I’m actually quite scared I won’t like the nic from other vendors I bought. I need to test each one.

Talking of nic I spent some time yesterday checking out my nicotine stash. I haven’t done a proper accounting for a while. Went through my vape diary and receipts to figure out how much I had bought and used.

Turned out I’ve used 1¼ L in the 5 years since I started making my own juice. And I have 5 L in the freezer. Based on that I have enough to last me 20 years, which would take me to 90.

It’s not that simple though. I started out mixing base at 15mg. Around the end of the first year I went down to 12mg, then 3 years at 10mg, and over the last year down to 7. Just started moving down to 6mg. I was chain vaping early on. During those 5 years I supplied a live in grandson for 2 years, and at some point my wife went from zero nic to using nic. All that makes it hard to predict future usage from past usage.

With a bunch of tanks running and multiple flavors it’s really hard to figure out how much I get through.

I did some calculations from my mixing records, which I’ve been keeping for just over a year. I mix 800mls of base at a time, and I’ve been doing that at intervals of 2, 3, or 4 months.

Did some complicated arithmetic and figured I'm likely to be making base every 4 months going forward. That means a liter should last just over 6 years, and my stash should last 30 years. I’ll run out when I turn 100. Even if I make base every 3 months that would get me to 93. After smoking for almost 50 years I don’t expect to make it that far anyway.

    Somewhere between here and there
I’ve been vaping since 2010 and feel like I’m stocked for a small village. However, I’ve still been buying new stuff for fun and plan on continuing to buy stuff here and there after Xmas for as long as I can.

I also am tempted to get a food sealer for some of the regulated mods. Are people doing that? Or is it overkill?
There is always the possibillity that moisture trapped inside the bag could condense on the metal and cause currosion. Safer to keep the device in a space without extremes of temperature and humidity and let it breathe.

Wow...so many things I haven’t thought about, but I am not a scientist lol. Your advice is very similar to that given to people who collect leather handbags. ;)

If anyone is looking for a slim cheap regulated single battery mod that takes 18650/20700/21700 batteries, vapesourcing still has the Venvii Baby Ness for $15.49 Venvii Baby Ness TC Box MOD 120W Black, White, and Titanium. (They're like $55 elsewhere)

I'd love to buy a few more cheap mods, especially one that takes 2x700 batts, but the button placements on that mod makes me wanna cry uncontrollably. I'll have to think about it though.

BTW, I think they got the name wrong. I think it's Envii, not Venvii. Here's the non-baby version.
$57.65 Authentic Envii Loch Ness 150W TC VW APV Box Mod - 5-150W / 200-600'F / 2*18650 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
Either that for FT is wrong.
Either that or it's a clone

I think that maybe storing it in it's box with desiccant, then in a baggie with al air pushed out as much as possible, may be the best bet. That and keeping it in the driest place possible.

Has anyone tried that baby ness mod? I’m really tempted to get a few, been wanting more 21700 single batt mods. That price seems a steal.

I bought a few of them. But they went straight to my stash. I never tried them out. I just liked that they took different battery sizes plus the actual size of them along with the reviews on them on more than one site.

    Somewhere out there
I got my first nic 5 years ago from WL. Mainly because I saw a few posts here saying it was good nic. Back then I don't think there was as much variation in the price of nic so it wasn't a big deal. I got stocked up on nic within a year. Got my mixing gear and flavoring there as well. Still get flavoring there. If I find a place I like I tend to stick with it. Though I did get a liter from NN a couple of years ago when they had a killer sale price.

I really have no clue whether there is any difference in quality between different nics.
Way back when Wizard Labs had a reputation of having the best nic. Most of my stash is WL. But there are so many nic vendors now, so much to choose from.

I bought nic from Wizard lab years ago. I do agree on the many choices right now on Nicotine. The only nic I ever found to be strong/peppery like is MFS (myfreedomsmoke).
This vendor had some love many many years ago. Look at the price? OMG! Someone sent me a sample of their nicotine and I would compare it to Wizard. It was good. No way I would buy any at the current price.

    It will always be available.

Soylent. It's a food substitute, that garnered a cult following after some show/video game/movie thing had people eating dead people when they ran out of food. You can get it premixed, you can get it as a powder. Space saving and no freezing needed. Supposedly "has" all you need for your nutritive needs in three easy, (some might say delicious) gulps.

My son was obsessed with it for a while which is why I thought about it. LOL. I saw some in Walmart today and almost got it, then thought "This is FOOLISHNESS."

I think it's mainly soy protein (the real stuff) not real people so keep it in mind.

I believe there are very real differences in nic, and I have like 3 different kinds right now. I will say, however, I am NOT a delicate flower when it comes to nic. Heartland's has made the majority of my stash and when I've bottled it, I enjoy the harsh, slightly peppery smell that has ALWAYS accompanied Heartland's nic. I mean, I liked Nic River nic salts and still do, and I have some armor.

But if it is the RIGHT chemical composition well I have full faith in my body's ability to filter out an impurity or two as it does every single other second of the day, and yet I live on

I expect to live into my 90s. My grandmother on my mom's side did, as my mother is apparently doing. They both (sorta) have kept their full faculties and stuff, too bonus. Here's hoping. I see no reason for my body not to recover from smoking any more than it did opiate abuse, and whatever else crud I have to take for my chronic illnesses.

My stock is nice hardy Australian convict stock mixed with Russian, for the most part,. Expect me to be lovely but a female dog into my old age, and the type that can fell you with the wrong gaze, and will get up to bite you if you MUST have it be so.:

I also figure the more fervently I believe it, like, why not? Worst case I am wrong, best I am sending my body all the RIGHT messages.

    Anna
