Sorry, it's my understanding that what we have is what there is.
People requested all sorts of changes when it first appeared...and couldn't be done.

I remember now that Ya' mentioned it . . . I was one of the participants of that thread, there were so many different options - just never knew they actually made a final decission on what emoticons would be available . . . Oh Well - If anyone could have gotten it done, it would have been "You" . . . Just Sayin' . . . :(

All these coils y’all talk about are foreign to me. I’m trying to just stick to a few types. If I start a different type then it’s down the rabbit hole I go. I don’t own the cerebus or tfvbaby thingy or any of them. Sometimes I feel I’m missing out, but other times when I think about trying something new my eyes glaze over and I get really tired. It’s like a buffet...so many choices overstimulates my brain or something.
What is nice is the NRG, Cerebus and TFV8 baby can all share coils. SO 3 tank types same coils. It is a simplification for those of us that like those tanks.

I agree. I'm not looking for anything new, just buying more of what I already have and like while it's still out there. It's cheaper that way, too, because you can find clearance deals.

If you use drop-in coils, the more different tanks you hoard for vapocalypse, the more different types of coil heads you need to hoard.

The more different RTAs you hoard, the more parts you need to hoard.

I'm keepin' it simple.

IMHO, if you like both RTAs and drop-in coil tanks, the best tanks to hoard for vapocalypse are ones that take both drop-in coils and have an RBA section available for sale separately so you can hoard RBAs and drop-in coils.

My problem was I was entirely focused on rebuildable squonk attys for years. Now I have purchased a few tanks that take both drop ins and a rebuild deck. That series of tanks all taking the same coils really simplifies things for me. I can buy the sales and know the coils are interchangeable.

Yeah I've stocked on 3 major coils types; Kanger 0.5 OCC, Smok TFV12 Q4 0.4 and Geekvape Supermesh x2 0.3. The only reason I'd even entertain a new tank that isn't strictly an RTA at this point would be if it's compatible with one of those coil types. That's the only reason I keep looking at the Vaporesso stuff, it's compatible with the Cerberus tank that I have tons of coils for.

Now the only problem is I'm scared to try a Varporesso coil because if it's better than what I have stocked I'm going to be depressed.

For me, I've been doing rda and rta for years, wanted to come up with something fairly modern in case I couldn't do builds. My preferred ohms are around 0.4, so I wanted something with good coils in the 0.3 - 0.5 zone.

Vaporesso gt ccell were an easy pick for me, due to many reports on excellent flavor and longevity, and that particular format meant a whole lot of other heads were compatible. The tanks fell out - Hellbeast as a highly regarded new tank, Cerberus due to buying an Aegis Solo in kit form, NRG as a known compatible at a good price, NRG SE as part of the excellent tarot baby sale.

Tanks will have different failure modes, items that wear. Basic orings are a no brainer, but the various seals/fill mechanisms can be more of a hassle over time. I purposely went for multiple models, am quite confident that in the event I can't build I'll have more than enough tanks to use with my several year supply of heads.

My long term vaping is all about rda and rta, especially rda. The ones I have should last many years, especially given most of my vaping is squonking.

For those that use drop-ins but also are willing to build, that is the best kind of tank to hoard away IMHO...assuming you can buy the RBA head without having to buy the whole tanks. I have many Subtank Minis and 30 RBAs decks and about 100 drop-in coils.

Are you the one that did the TFV12 Prince? I got an email from 8Vape they have the TFV12 coils on sale.

That is basically what I am doing. The drop in coils are for situations where I can't rebuild for whatever reason. Otherwise I rebuild.

I too have a fair size stash of subtank Minis from my 2016 stockup. I just REALLY like the Cerebus tank. I was thrilled to find a rebuild deck that works in it making it sustainable. I already had a few Baby Beasts which have a rebuild deck. Coils being interchangeable between the Cerebus and baby beast is a HUGE + for me.

I was thinking of something else today. I'm getting older. Maybe in the future I won't be able to build. So my thought is it may be wise to save those drop-ins for later.

Another reason why, for me, tanks that take both drop-ins and RBA heads are a better choice over an RTA.

    Somewhere out there
This is my thinking too, I picked a few more RBA's for drop in coil tanks. I have a good supply of Zenith coils but wish they'd get a RBA released when we can't buy coils. I have plenty of Nautilus coils and even have the Nauti RBA even tho it is a PITA! LOL but I think rebuilding nauti coils is not too hard. I picked up an Aspire Triton tank and RBA just for variety. I have a couple top tank mini's and some coils for the Nano and several RBA's for the top tank. One thing I like about the RBA's for drop in tanks is the option and versatility. I have the Hellbeast and RBA's for it too. I still want a few more MTL RTA's for a variety too.

I wouldn't hold my breath on innokin releasing an RBA for the Zenith. The target market for the Zenith isn't people who want to build decks.

Has Innokin even released an RBA for any of their tanks since the Delta 2?
