Aren't we not supposed to use protected batteries?
You will have to do some googling to verify as it has been years since I read up on it.

The way it was explained to me in 2013. We want to use IMR non protected High drain cells. ICR protected cells should be avoided as the IMR non protected are safer.

Hopefully someone who remembers more clearly than I do the exact reason chimes in.

Little funny story. This week I was asking around about how to label my glass bottles of nic in the freezer and @fiddleshe said freezer tape so I ordered some. Then I was looking at the shipping time and it's going to arrive after Christmas which is the long weekend (I got a 5 day weekend coming up!) that I wanted to get this done in.

Started wondering if I had already ordered some as all the glass bottle packages I got from Amazon are unopened. Opened my order history... I ordered a different brand of freezer tape in October. Then I kept looking and I ordered all purpose labels in October as well.

Guess I won't be running out of freezer tape any time soon...
It makes it much easier to organize body parts that are wrapped.

Also "protected" batteries are physically longer than the unprotected, and won't fit in the mods we use.

I've done the same thing. I think it explains all the ego connectors, heat sinks, and 810 to 510 adapters I have in stash.

My friend has us both beat. She was cleaning her house yesterday, and found SEVEN rolls of scotch tape! [emoji38]
They could send one my way. Packing tape I always have, scotch tape I never think of picking up [emoji3]

OK, thought I'd doublecheck with some of you on the following. A friend has/uses the Cerberus tank, and loves it. I want to be sure that the SMOK TFV8 Baby RBA that's been discussed...does indeed work in it. I'd like to teach him how to use it, too, and not just use drop-in coils. I remember there being posts about needing a taller replacement glass for some of the tanks that are compatible with that RBA. However, I don't remember if it was the Cerberus, too. So, any input from those who have actually used that RBA in a Cerberus would be appreciated.

The augvape intake glass will allow you to use the smok baby beast rba. I figured it out by just trying different glass from different tanks I have.

The only mods I have that take protected are the GLV minis.

Quite a few people have been buying the 4oz. and 8 oz. amber glass Boston round bottles and polycone lined caps that Heartland has, too, when buying their liters of nic from them. They'll split up the liters of nic base into the glass bottles and store them in their freezer for the longterm.

ETA: Besides those being really good bottles & caps for nic storage...usually they'll ship for Free, because Free S/H kicks in at only $50. Most people are reaching that $50 with just the nic base they're buying. It beats buying the bottles & caps elsewhere and having to pay S/H for them.

Understood but I just never see them on the Heartland site :(

Exactly, I bought a few with my last order, but I wish I had bought a few more. Too late. Yes, it comes out to be more per bottle, but after shipping a lot of places end up the same or higher and with most of them you have to buy a full case. And if you don't shipping is still high anyhow. The only downside to buying bottles at heartland is they don't have 8oz or 16oz bottles. But if you need 4oz or smaller, it's a good deal if you're getting free shipping.

Ah Ha! Lolol.....I thought everyone was getting 8 and 16's now.....maybe I am not as blind as I thought!

Hmm? They have 8 oz bottles. Also on the menu bar there's literally a big button that says "bottles" click to drop down then click on "glass bottles."
