FOr those with multiple Luxotics I have a question. DO ALL of them need the fix?

The reason I ask is I just took the one I got tonight apart and the little pin appears totally sealed with a blob of solder. There is NO getting it out it is completely covered.

I only used 1/7. My pin was not soldered in, it didn't leak at first, but now it's scrap. I plan on turning it into a mech squonker. The other 6 don't have soldered in pins, but they are sale items. From what people have said, later versions fixed the leaking issue. I don't have those versions so I don't know what changes were made.

Yeah when I can get to it I will check the other one I bought. It was from a different source so it might have the pin like yours. This one that has the solder is the purple one I ordered from Kanger WHolesale

I vape in mid 30s too or depending what atty & coil ohms I’m using. It’s perfect at all wattage. Btw the Omni board does TC as good as my dna and Yihi mods imo and experience. So if you use tc you’ll enjoy the vape you get and how easy it is to use unlike the higher end devices sometimes that need tweaking.

Tip: if you take out and replace 1 battery at a time the clock will stay on time and not reset.

People that have the Luna and haven't like sanded it and put lacquer on it or anything.. how does the wood feel I know it's not a finished wood and I have a pretty strong aversion to like the feeling of popsicle sticks and tongue depressors I feel like dying just talkin about them ugh..

it’s smoother than a popsicle stick but kinda the same. You could always buff it a bit to tone down the wood feel. It’s pretty smooth though but definitely wood.

good luck. I don’t think I’ve seen one but I’m not too into squonking. I know that Vaporesso made an automatic squonk with another manufacturer called the Revenant is something similar. But I don’t believe it has the Omni board in it but a different one from Vaporesso that I don’t have any experience with. If you find one though let me know!!

I thought mods with clocks were just the bees knees. I thought I would use them all the time.

I never use them, come to me if you want/need tips in how to turn OFF your clock and not burn through batteries second by second and it sucks. You won't even have to smash it with a hammer.

Especially if you ask like @Fidola13 she was the one who told me how to turn most of mine off. I have forgotten. LOL.

My family is fine, my grown kids are being a PIA. Invited them over, saying it doesn’t have to be on the 25th, let me know any day that’ll work for you. No reply from son. Daughter replies a week later she wants to do Christmas at her place. It’s a 40 minute drive, which is difficult for me in broad daylight, and a total Fear Factor at night. Plus, she’s invited her BF’s family. BF is adorable and I love him, but I’ve never met his family. I just can’t bear to be stuck with total strangers for this, holidays stress me out enough. I just lost my mom in September.

My sister and brother and SIL have invited me to theirs, but that’s even more depressing - I love them, but if I can’t be with my kids, my part of the family, I’d rather be alone.

I’m pretty much set on telling everyone to go fly a kite, turn off my phone and ignore them all till next year sometime.

Reminds me of when my kids were little. No way I could do that now without spending a day on the heating pad. Lately I do all gift bags - actually reusable shopping bags from the dollar store.

I find the whole gift giving to grown people who need absolutely nothing ridiculous. Mom won’t stop. The little kids are fun though, but we only have one little one (that comes to Moms). My niece is six (brother had a child at age of 50....bwahaha). She is tons of fun. My son is 19 but is still a kid at heart and loves Christmas so I make it special for him. It’s a time of stress for me helping Mom but I’m ahead of the game this year. I want my parents (80 and 83) stress free so I carry the load for them.

I put a stop to adult gifts 20 + years ago explaining it was a burden for everyone,, the shopper & receivers because we have to figure out what they would like ,,, spend money,, hope the receiver likes/needs it,,, meantime at the actual event all attention went to the kids,,, so why not kids only?,,, The first year everyone was a bit grumpy,,, every year after everyone seemed to like it more,. Because randomly everyone was in a different economic state,, without the burden. Kids gets gifts until 21 years old,, & we all tend to slip mom something because she always made Christmas complete growing up with her love for the holidays. Now that I have 3 grandkids,, I am so glad this is still intact. My son tried to take it a step further after his inlaw's went crazy on gifts for the kids,, he assigned everyone to clothes & books for the kids,,, I followed his lead for a couple of years,,, still do,,, but since I also give out a stocking (& Easter basket) every year,, I got creative in that category--- the stockings & basket seem to be getting bigger haha. He smiles with love at me,,, his whole life I was pretty creative in containers & gifts for him & my hubby.
Ps- I'm on the look out for large M&M pillows this year to convert into Easter baskets
