Thanks for the post. I'm sad because I'm not allowed to use alcohol. I have a rare condition. :( It does sound good though.
Alcohol is not required. You can just use pg or vg, give them a good soak.

IDK, But can't you eliminate the alcohol - as Ya' would in any other food recipehat calls for an alcohol addition, such as "Beef Bourguignon" or say a "Risotto" . . . A majority of the time I will use Lemon juice or a Vinegar (ex: Apple Cider) for something that calls for a "White Wine" acid to open up the flavor . . . Just a Thought . . .

EDIT: Just saw @markfm post that alcohol is not required, however ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ still an option whether or not Ya' use for this recipe or another one too . . . ;)

I still have some somewhere.... I am a packrat... I should find mine along with a ton of really old hardware and cartos and toss it all as well.
Don't toss the cartos. I know that myself and couple other stockers still have carto tanks or BBs that can use them.

I bought some 316 3mm .5 ohm coils from FT that came in 100 pack. They work fine. I’ve been using some coilology 316 flat braided coils in my rta’s that I really like.
Thanks for the tips. For a few cents each better than making my own. I typically go 420F, 25 max watt, with 26 gauge stainless wire.

When I'm not going to vape for some hours snus works well for me. I tried a bunch of different brands and flavors and prefer Skoal regular mint. The local tobacco shop gets it for me in shrink wraped bundles of tins.

Just got another email from Eight Vape...this 1 announcing a sale of 20 Items for Under $20. In a good-sized, bright red box was this info as well:

"Due to high order volumes this season, our shipping processes are delayed.
We are sorry for inconveniences caused by this delay, and
we thank you for your patience."

Have not seen that announcement on any other Sale email before. They must be having more Tickets opened, like the ones *RJ* and I both opened...about our 12/24 orders not being fulfilled yet.

I ordered 85 boxes of .5 ohms 117 boxes of .8 ohms and 5 rbas.

Holy cow that's a lot of coils. For what? What did I miss?!? The 0.5s I'm most curious of.

I use this setup because I run with lanyards all the time. It's very rare for things to be just sitting.

If I wasn't a lanyard person I'd use the heat sink adapters.

I seriously can't imagine having any of my mods hanging around my neck but you do you bro lol. Must be kinda nice having another free pocket.

I’m keeping all the stuff I would have once called “flotsam and jetsam” - remnants of vaping days gone by - little pieces, o-rings, collars, grubs and screws, glass pieces to tanks I don’t have anymore, etc. Because you just never know.

I have a little scenario in my head, post-PMTA, that some frantic vaper will be on board here asking for something and I’ll have it.

Not terribly long ago I was at my old vape shop, surveilling the elder mech mods and RTAs and RDAs. It still has a bunch of Evolv SVD 20w tube mods that the store received in 2014(5?), unsold, right at the time our area started getting into box mods. I told the young man working there that soon it all will be worth its weight in gold to vapers, and I’m beginning to wonder if that’s the reason why the ownership didn’t dump it all. We already had it on clearance, but no one was interested in all that “outdated junk.” Couldn’t give it away. But now I see how some of those old devices may end up being the staples. That’s how I scored my SX Mini 60w about two or three months ago (of course, my old boss will cut me deals) because no one is going to buy those now while they can still get the newest thing for sale.

I can't tell you how many times I've used parts like orings, gaskets, etc from spent coil heads to fix something else, vape-related or not.

Yeah, I would switch to the 510 heatsink adapters instead of the ego adapters if you are trying to conserve your threads, that looks like if you dropped it a couple times it could cause an issue either with the tanks 510 connector snapping or loosening the 510 connection on the mod. https://www.fasttech.com/product/4895708-510-heat-dissipation-heat-sink-for-atomizers (there are 22,24,25 & 27 mm versions too https://www.fasttech.com/search?510 Heat Dissipation Heat Sink for Atomizers )
    These seem more stable.
Any of these come with a BF pin?

Dangit just checked the sale. 6 SKRR tanks may have just lept into my cart at $4.99 each. :p That is cheaper than spare parts.

    Somewhere out there
    My post is 41977 [emoji3]

It's trivial. Pick some flavoring (menthol + peppermint in my case), plus some nic, use alcohol (I used 100 proof vodka) and pg or vg to flesh it out to the desired total ml of solution, soak 24 hours and dry.

The original recipe worked out at 4 oz of liquid for 200 toothpicks, with an average of 6 mg nic per toothpick being soaked. I know I vape less than a full PAD smoker, so cut the nic mg/toothpick down to about 1/2 that.

Use is stick it between cheek and gum, chew on it a bit..

Here's what I used to soak them - a random vial that was the right size.

I was thinking of making some Nic Tacs, just put a drop of mixed base on some tic tacs. I maybe traveling next year after deeming date and thinking of mailing some pods to my desitination before they are not allowed to be shipped after deeming date. Just incase! Then using Nic Tacs for flight.

Sounds like a good idea. You may want to consider experimenting a breath mint that doesn't have a hard or shiny shell like a tic tac. The nic might soak in better. Or even gum if you like it.

Other than the Iris and Revenger, all my mods are single battery; the only heavy single battery is the Jackaroo.
