Sounds like a good idea. You may want to consider experimenting a breath mint that doesn't have a hard or shiny shell like a tic tac. The nic might soak in better. Or even gum if you like it.
I'll have to experiment :)

I just tried out the Moti pod, I like it. I got several for traveling and at $.99 each, I think these I will ship to my travel destination before Deeming date. They work pretty well.

I had them in my cart at $1 a piece in every color, was doing something else at the same time and when I came back they were $10 a piece. Removed them so fast lol

Just a little bummed. Woulda been really nice to just pass those out to new vapers.

Yes they were a great buy at $.99 but $10, no LOL I'll have to get a pack of refillable pods tho and they are not cheap. I think I'll use altoids for Nic Tacs and the empty tin I can made a mod out of LOL!

If you find a good price on the pods, please share it with us... I got three of the moti's. I feel like in hindsight (now that they are $10) that I should have gotten more but I knew the pods were pricey.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yeah, I would switch to the 510 heatsink adapters instead of the ego adapters if you are trying to conserve your threads, that looks like if you dropped it a couple times it could cause an issue either with the tanks 510 connector snapping or loosening the 510 connection on the mod. https://www.fasttech.com/product/4895708-510-heat-dissipation-heat-sink-for-atomizers (there are 22,24,25 & 27 mm versions too https://www.fasttech.com/search?510 Heat Dissipation Heat Sink for Atomizers )

    These seem more stable.
Any of these come with a BF pin?

FT may have heat sinks with BF pins, but I never looked.

I posted a while back a solution that squonkers who use 510 to eGo/510 adapters can use to make it more stable and have a more finished look. Just use an eGo beauty ring...

    I'll post it again....

$4.89 Chromed Brass eGo Beauty Rings (10-Pack) 10-pack - 19mm overall diameter / 4*air slots at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

    1406001-1.jpg

$5.22 eGo Beauty Rings for 3.5mL ViVi Nova Atomizer (10-Pack) 10-pack - max: 19mm outer diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

You put the unsealed 510 to eGo510 adapter on the mod. You screw the eGo beauty ring over that, then you screw on your atty.

Doesn't look as good as a heat sink would, IMHO, but it does provide stability.

If you have any nautilus/nautilus mini tanks and you kept the packaging, no need to buy these, they all came with an eGo beauty ring and they don't have the notches in them for the 510 airflow.

Yes, I have a nautilus. Thanks for mentioning that. Love to reuse old items

I've just been using those Zyn nicotine packets when flying lately. Work pretty good. I carry them around in my backpack just in case.

It’s funny you mentioned the nicotine pouches because I was just thinking that some people are going to a bit of trouble trying to make toothpicks and other things. Nicotine packets are fairly cheap and no hassle. Of course I use snus so the packets were the first thing I thought of for non tobacco use. ON nicotine used to give free samples. I think I had to pay a dollar for shipping or something.

I think 8vape is the cheapest

I hope you don’t mind me interrupting and asking an unrelated question...

i have found an old 25r at the back which is still in its case from a cycle. Didn’t die on me as I kept it, took the charge perfectly.
It is dated 17.5.16 perfectly fine to use right?
Not sure if the info is still the same, or I forgot... :?:
Batteries are fine if they are looked after

no idea of cycles though as I have switched back and forth Mtl/dl
    Predominantly mtl so less cycles

    thanks

I'm a long time smoker and vaper (over 46 years between the two), the psychological/habit aspects are a huge part of it, greater than the nic by now.

The toothpicks give me flavor, a low dose of nic, and something to fiddle with (moving the toothpick from side to side). A satisfying "complete" experience if I can't vape [emoji3]

The time to make them is noise - a tiny amount of nic, two flavors, and filler liquid, then spread them out to dry the next day.

That one lozenge (a name brand) I tried yesterday bit. Too high a nic concentration, crud flavor, and moving a lozenge around wasn't as tactile as a toothpick.

    It's good to have options[emoji106]

If it's charging okay, and runs long enough to keep you happy, that's what matters. It sounds like you aren't over stressing it.
