I checked FT and looks like I have 4-5 small orders yet to come. I got my Dvarw's and a Triton tank with rba today from FT. I have a couple other China orders from elsewhere out there floating on a boat too :) then recent pod orders and that's it.

I have 3 somewhere between here and there, 3 at the airport, and one in processing. Hopefully that last one makes it out of China before CNY. So far, they’re taking about a week and a half from order to hitching a ride across the ocean. Sort of packed a bunch in there in a short period, ordered as stuff became listed “in stock”, since I’m hesitant about what the customs situation will be in a month or so.

I was just on the thread that @BigPappa started asking people who are not prepping why they aren't prepping.

After I saw one response there from someone [a prepper] who knows other vapers [in the meat world] who aren't prepping, it got me thinking...

As a vaper vaping in a post-apocalyptic world, one has to be careful who one vapes around, particularly other vapers and former vapers, and ESPECIALLY if nic is taxed super-high. Otherwise you may find your house broken into and possibly even hurt or even killed.

Nic base and the gear you use to vape it will be akin to illegal drugs the harder they make it to get it. In certain situations, you may not be able to safely vape around other people without risking your stash. Some will be in this situation more than others.

Stay safe stockers....and be wise. If possible, never let people in the meat world know that you're a vape prepper. Same rules apply to vapocaplypse prepping as they do to apocalypse prepping.

It's time to start thinking and acting the "grey man" part.

What threading on those cartomizers? 510? 808? 901? 401? 103?

This is important information.

510. Lol or anything else cheap that will fit on 510 and not break easily. I was using cartos bc i was getting them for like 10 cents each in bulk. I was rebuilding ce2's actually.... but it was too time consuming.

Someone mentioned a nautilus....i had one of the earlier ones... i forget why i didnt feel the *yay i got my perfect thing* and i tried a few of the other tanks ppl raved about with no luck... maybe my juice was just too thin...idk. im on the vg train now though and can mix thicker if needed to stop leak issues...

How do you like the Dvarws? I thought about buying a few of those because they're relatively inexpensive, but saw some unfavorable reviews. Have you had a positive experience with them?

Mine is buried and I'm not telling where! LOL It does make me wonder about after Deeming date and if we can even have a vape when out and about. In the car perhaps but not sure where vaping will be safe. Ack I hate this stupid Deeming stuff! I'm glad I got some more pods for discrete vaping :)

Thank you for this post, as I think it could generate an important discussion on this issue.

In the very recent past, I, on this site, have declared that I am not going to hide the fact I am a vaper and I’m not going to try to disguise my vaping - but with a caveat - I generally only vape in the relative safety of my car and safety (2A) of my home.

When I worked at the vape shop, around once every two weeks or at least once a month I’d get a customer - often a regular - who would come in needing to replace a device because of a vehicular break-in. It occurred frequently enough to impress upon me that not even a bottle of eliquid was safe to store in a cup holder, and as a result I do not leave ANY evidence I am a vaper in a parked car.

To relate this concern to prepping, I keep only a very small consort of friends, and none of them know that I am prepping to the extent I am. Recently I was at a local B&M and as I was talking about the PMTA the clerk, someone I consider a friend, assumed I had enough nicotine stored for the long haul. Even then I diverted the conversation, not because he himself is a threat, but because it is just not something I am willing to discuss outside of my family.

What brought the issue home was two months ago when the flavor ban hit WA I was at another B&M and a customer was very curious about how and why I still was able to use a bottle of fruit eliquid when he was only able to buy a tobacco flavor. I said it was something I had held onto before the ban. I am not deluded at all about the desire for flavors nor the ignorance about how easy it is to DIY.

Sometimes I look at my vape tubs and I realize that someone would break into my house for those items alone. I’m not interested in inviting trouble so I’m not going to advertise my exclusive (lol) vape gear after the PMTA goes into effect. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to go out of my way to not vape in the car or on the porch. It just means I’m not going to explain how I’ve prepared for the upcoming dark ages. And, sadly, it means I’m not going to share like I did before. But that blood is not on my hands.

Someone posted here that GeekVape has 15% off everything through 10 January code: 20200101... at least that is what I have written down, but the code is not working.... do I have the wrong code?
Sent them an email, they replied saying it was fixed and to try it again and that if it did not work, just make the purchase and they would refund the difference. The code still did not work, I told them that and this morning they said they are refunding me the difference.
I placed a small order directly with Geek Vape on Dec. 24th. I was trying supposedly active coupon code (don't know if it's the one you've been trying), but I could not get it to work at all. I gave up and placed the order anyway and it was a small inexpensive order.
You should email them and explain what happened and get that refund... ;)

I would say I am also over stocked but not too much over the top. Every time I think this has to last for the next 30 yrs, I am glad I have what I do :) Plus maybe if someone gets in a pinch I can help out :) One thing I didn't plan on was getting more pods, but I don't want to risk my good stuff being taken away after deeming. So glad I picked up these extras.
Yeah, I picked up 9 more pod systems to add to the 2 that I have (4 of those were the $1 moti's lol, then 2x novo 2's, 1x minifit, and 2x Starss), the only problem is that they are all built-in batteries, so in 3-5 years they will be junk :( Based on some of the convo I have read, I might get a 2nd minifit after mine is delivered and I try it.

I did pick up the Aspire Mulus because it takes a replaceable batt. But so true all the internal batt pods only have so long. I still am not throwing out anything because someone could figure out how to put in a new batt :)

How are folks storing internals? Half charged or full? I know for externals it is recommended to keep at half charge but I never stored the ones with internal batts.
The ones I haven't used yet are just in factory ship boxes. I think they are usually half charged?

Mine also but they will lose charge over time. For people planning to store them for a a few years, I am guessing the charge would matter.

I asked this a while back and the consensus seems to be about half charged. But the best plan of action is to use them up now.
