I would do it if I were you... If they are just asking for pictures, that most likely means that they will tell you to just keep the old product and they will ship you a replacement... You end up with spare parts for free.

You talked me into it. I took pictures of the contents and a good shot of the two coils so they could see that they were stock coils and not an rba.

I'm having a moment when I'm glad to have a stockpile.

I knocked my trusty GMZ ProVari off a counter onto the floor and the topper broke off, leaving a 1/8 inch piece of the 510 connector jammed deep in the top of the mod. I tried all the typical things that have worked in the past - first a pencil eraser, then a bolt that just fit, freezing and all. No luck.

I'll eventually likely get it out with a bit of Dremel work, but having another in the wings sure did help in a time of crisis. Having more than one of most anything I really like is a wonderful thing.

Would an easy out/screw extractor work?

This looked interesting, using a pair of slotted head screwdrivers:

My order at evrzon (sp?) has shown processing since 1/27. I finally sent an email yesterday but I haven’t heard yet.
    Mine too. Since 1/23.
I hardly remember what it is that I ordered.

Yeah. But for some reason I thought no vape gear was supposed to be sold on amazon. Maybe I heard that wrong. A lot of the
drip tips say "connector for ice maker coffee mod". And I have a gift card to spend.

I did some searching for some vape stuff on Amazon. Not much worth reporting,
but found 2 different IJoy RBAs.

    • 5-pack of EXO-S RBAs ("EXO-S XS-1 Customizable, Reusable Resistance Wire Platform Kit"), which works in the Advken Dominator tank which vapesourcing still has.

    • 3-Pack of XL2S RBAs - fits the IJoy EXO-XL tank ($4.00 at Lightfire with coupon code VD20). It's a dual coil RBA though and won't be of any use to those that need the EXO-S RBA for NRG tanks and whatever other thanks the EXO-S RBA fits. Completely different size and form factor.

    Now here's a deal on a mod...

VapeSourcing has the IJoy Katana 81W mod for $6.90 (use code EDMKBM - code JKTM might work too if that one doesn't)

Normally I wouldn't even bother to post an integrated battery mod, but hear me out...

Found a Katana video that showed that this mod has an iJoy 18650 battery soldered in it by just 2 leads and it looks like an easy job to remove it and replace it with another 18650 when it becomes useless, IF you're not opposed to doing simple soldering jobs. You could even replace the 18650 with a Lipo that fits if you know which one to buy.

So technically it's pretty much vapocalypse-ready for the right person. And for that price, heck, I'm thinking of buying a couple even though I really don't need more mods (you saw that coming, right :D) I like the form factor (that's my justification :p)

It's a great price if you just want a few integrated battery mods for whatever reason. HOWEVER, since it's not a Lipo battery, it won't last as long on a charge as most other integrated battery mods do. But the price!!!!! :thumb:

Here's the video I found so you can decide if the Katana is worth $6.90+shipping.
You can see it disassembled at around the 11 minute mark.

If my memory is correct, when they do that you may just see the status as something like "preparing shipment" forever until it gets state-side.
That’s cool, kinda used to it ya know. I’m just happy to see things moving. I hope that means things are getting better over there. Scary stuff

I have a pretty good Boysenberry x Blackberry DIY going in the Pal 2. I mixed equal parts of Boysenberry Pie, Boysenberry Jam and Cap V2 Blackberry, very tasty :) I forget the Boysenberry brands, found them on River Supply Co I think on clearance. They are good

If it’s compatible with the euc coils yes. I feel the need for a backup to the veco.

I missed it if you said you’re having trouble with the veco.

I have a few of them and never had an issue. Mine would be about 3 years old, so it could be the newer ones at faulty? Or the newer coils? Or just the odds are, a dud is going to roll off the line occasionally?

At any rate, you should try other tanks and coils. Eggs and baskets as they say.

I got in some Dinner Lady Blackberry Crumble from EJS, it gave me a chance to try the SXK Haku Riviera RDTA clone.

Net, a big thumbs up on the RDTA, nicely built and easy to build.

I opened the side airflows (turn the gold screw on each side), installed a 3mm ID coil since the wicking holes are large, and cut the wick tails even with the top edge of the glass (when installed the wick will then just poke into the top of the tank section).

Normal tilting of the mod to vape is keeping the wick thoroughly saturated, great flavor, a moist, enjoyable, vape.

For squonk use I'd stuff a little bit of rayon into the eliquid fill hole, so that the tank could be laid on its side without leaking

Nice! I’ve just recently gotten into RDTAs. I got a VV Pyro, love it and bought another. Then I got an AsMODus Nefarious which I need to rebuild, I think I like it, but at .16 it’s too rowdy for me lol.

I love the consistency of the hits. Why did it take me so long to try this!
