Long Story Short . . . I woke-up this morning to find out that there was yet again another water main break (not the sewer system this time) . . . While this has been an on-going situation, this time it has effected most of the city (90%) . . . So there is - NO Washing Hands/Dishes/etc., NO Showers, No Flushing Toilets (or should I say no refilling the tank . . . ) - they say for at least 24 hours . . . NOT HAPPY ! ! ! :-x

In the town I used to live in, some idiot at the water company put the wrong chemicals in the whole town's water supply. They had to shut the water off for four days. Schools closed. Restaurants closed. There was a run on bottled water. Even with emergency shipments, they couldn't keep it in stock. I lived off of frozen meals and diet soda.

Thanks! I work Long term care/rehab. A assisted living place nearby (12 miles) just had their first death from coronvirus. 1 worker and 3 residents popped up positive. The residents are locked down and its a dementia unit. Either the families or staff brought in the virus.

I have to make some diy e-liquid to send to family. I told them to quarantine my package. One never knows if they are a carrier or have been exposed.
Oh my so sorry! Have you been tested? Are you self quarantined?

    Plan on sharing?
    Gently used?

I did send vapecraft a note, asked them to state the isopropyl alcohol content. Easy to do, but it should be at least 60%.

Replacement wheel set arrived for my new rower; one of the 6 wheels had an early failure. The company was good, shipped a full wheel plate assembly with 6 wheels (I now have spares [emoji106])

One of my ft orders has reached Syracuse, with any luck I'll see a pair of KRMA clones tomorrow [emoji3]

Not tested yet. I heard the State of Illinois is testing all the healthcare workers. I hope they start in WI but who knows.
I'm a essential employee which means I have to get sick in order to be quarantined. I don't want to lose my job but I don't want to lose my life either. However, these elders need someone to help them and a lot of nurses will bail. I just hope they have a available respirator for me if the time arises. I would go to my doctor but they won't test unless symptoms are presenting. I'm just in the paranoid state right now. I need to make more masks.

It isn't clear on the product page. There's a claim about killing 99.9% of germs, but that's less informative than stating the alcohol content.

We have a curfew. Sad times.
They just announced a curfew in the city i live in here a few minutes ago.My company is considered an essential business,so they gave all of us employees papers today for documentation if we get stopped by the police.
Never imagined i would have to worry about getting stopped by police just for going to work, this is getting crazy.

The local police will have to start saying "Your papers, please" with an indeterminate European accent.

I have a company photo ID, though fortunately it's unlikely I'll have to head into the plant.
For some reason , that brought up an image of Hogan’s Heroes. It’s not funny that it’s where we are currently, but it did make me giggle.
We went through that after Katrina. Himself had a placard on the truck dash that let him out and about.

Oh my I would be paranoid too. Do you have medical surgical masks available too? I was reading the home made ones over surgical keep them lasting longer. I tried making two today with pockets for the vacuum cleaner bag insert but they are hard to breathe thru and get very hot, not exactly comfortable. I wonder if just using the thin film

would work from the bag? I added nose wire, the plastic twist tie worked great :)

I think they are doing that in Italy.

That was an in vivo study, so you can't necessarily say that it is a clinical treatment, plus it's only one study. The FDA has come down on companies who claim their essential oils cure covid19. It's not going to hurt anything to put them on a mask (which aren't really helpful, unless it's a N95 mask), but it will make it smell nice.

Yes, I heard Italy (or some parts) is under Marshall Law (not confirmed). The Italians (as a whole) are not taking the situation seriously enough.

Here's a mayor that is evidently fed up with his own people...

I don't know where "You" live, however I thought this was the case across the board - until I went to "My" Primary Doctor today for a yearly exam. It seems here in South Florida, you can go get a test if Ya' meet at least one of 3 reasons - 1) Prescreened and meet CDC & DOH Testing guidelines; 2 ) Prequalified with Prescription, & 3) Preregistered through call center . . . AND - Since I do have all 3 medical conditions (Heart/Diabetic/Pulmonary) and being a Senior (over 65), "My" Primary has given "Me" a prescription to go get the test- even though I absolutely show no signs of having contracted the Corna-19 Virus - as a precaution . . . This is going to be FUN . . .

Hopefully - Your area is doing the same, especially since "You" work for an ALF. Maybe a doctor there can write you a script . . . Hope Ya' Can . . .

I was reading the home made ones over surgical keep them lasting longer.

BTW: @Bea-FL posted an FYI that might be helpful info about home made mask here:

    Hope it's informative and useful . . . ;)
