State of Anxiety
We've got over 400 confirmed cases and 10 deaths. :( And not enough tests being done. I am operating as if everyone has it. I am somewhat of a hermit normally, so it's not that bad for me. But I hate not being able to actually visit my parents and help them out with things. Just too risky. I visit and take walks with my Mom, but can only wave to my Dad through the window.

Well, at the top of the page it says " Critical Industry Employee Authorization to Travel regardless of the time of day". The body of the letter goes on to explain that our business is part of a critical infrastructure segment.
Mine comment was just a joke. Part of an old bit by Cheech & Chong.

First 2 confirmed cases in my area.
Same here. 1st 2 in this parish yesterday (parish = county in most of the country). We have little reason to go out at all. I will do a curbside grocery pickup Thursday. Also waiting for my new glasses to come in and the hubbys new chair to come in. Otherwise we are home till Mid April. It's NolaMel I am worried about this is really bad in New Orleans.

Last of the shipped orders from china due in today. 2 still unshipped. So yeah its all coming to an end. It's all more coils so not a big deal.

We’re at @1200 cases, 34 deaths :(
Mom is 6 hours away, stuck at home by herself. It’s killing me I can’t go take care of her. But because Himself’s on the front line, I have to act as if I’ve been exposed. Plus, he’s worn to a frazzle a needs me here to take care of him.
Thank you @Myrany . I’m fine and isolated, but Himself and the rest of the hospital staf could use all the prayers they can get. This is no joke. The sick people are almost beyond medical help, and nothing is working. But prayers.

City and County of Denver put out a "Stay at Home" order yesterday, doesn't really have much teeth but I'm working from home for the rest of the week and complying as best as I can. I'm fortunate enough to be doing engineering work which is easy to do remotely. Unfortunately we're going to be pretty slow starting next week.

Was going to the dispensary anyways yesterday and by the time I got there there was a huge line outside. Got a ticket, went home, came back and still waited 40 minutes. Liquor stores had lines out the door too. Apparently they added MJ and liquor stores to essential while I was in line so they'll be staying open. Was pretty dumb though, we're supposed to be 6' apart and everyone outside is standing right next to one another. One of the places I go has switched to curbside pickup.

Hey we're back on topic. A few days ago I got 12 boxes of coils for my Mag 225w. Gonna order a few more boxes tomorrow when I get paid.

With the TFV12 Prince? It's my favorite tank! I have 50 boxes of those coils, which is only 150 coils. Probably not enough for how much I like these things to be honest.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I just heard on the radio that some post offices and hospitals are asking those who can sew to make masks for postal workers, hospital personnel, etc.

If those of you who can sew have time, you may want to check with your local post office, hospitals, etc. Maybe even call your local govt.

Nice job! I'll have to try one with the vacuum cleaner bag as a filter, at least over nose & mouth area. I have some bamboo fabric I think I'll try it with. It's fun making them

I made this today. I don't have a lot of fabric. Last year I thought I would never use so gave to charity. LOL Now I need stuff and can't access.

Micron filter (from micron kirby vacuum cleaner bag) 0.3 micron Sorry not the best pics.
I did that yesterday but I used this pattern

That way if we never use them we can donate them to the local cancer center after this is all over.

I totally didn't get the joke. I guess I haven't watched enough Cheech & Chong. I just thought you were asking what it said.

My wife told me last night that Jo Ann fabrics is asking for volunteers to come in and use their machines and materials to sew masks for hospitals and such. My youngest daughter loves to sew and I think she is going to go to do it. The company has promised to have the sewing machines spaced apart at safe distances and to keep the work areas sanitized.

You're showing your (lack of) age, @hittman .:) You wouldn't have watched them. You'd have sat around with your friends (buzzed), listening to the album, circa 1972. The album that came with a massive rolling paper.

You should youtube it though...some pretty funny stuff there! Their first album in '71 might've been better though.

Yes. He’s at a vary large teaching hospital, on the main campus. He sent me a picture after they had fitted him for his masks o_O:lol:. The cat wouldn’t recognize him!

I had trouble getting you on the phone.
    On the phone man?
    Yeah on the phone.
    I don't have a phone.
That's why I had trouble getting you.

You have to admit Sister Mary Elephant and Herbie & Ralph are hilarious.
