Funny you mentioned shoes. Based on what charges I had recently, I suspect my card theft was from an online shoe purchase.
I think my hack was from purchasing toilet paper. Someone ordered something from Comcast in Georgia for $965...same state the tp came from, and both charges hit the same day. But we will never really know.

well I broke down and ordered actual running shoes yesterday from Nike. But I was able to do it with Paypal through the Nike phone app (got free shipping and a 40% discount for using the app). So hopefully that shoe purchase is safe.

I just really haven't been buying a whole lot of vape gear. I have one old fasttech order that hasn't shipped yet. Coils of course. LOL

Somewhere out there
I also found toilet paper and paper towels for us and my parents on amazon a few days ago. I’ve learned you gotta look often and be ready to act fast. It’ll be gone in a blink of an eye. I’ve been lucky around 7 am.

Score! A 12 pack of TP added to my Amazon Fresh grocery order and scheduled for Monday. No eggs this time though. :( It's hard to get a delivery window with them, had to keep checking back half a dozen times before I got a spot on the schedule.

DW and I did our biweekly grocery shopping yesterday.

Everything we were looking for was available, though a few items were at only 1 or 2 of the 3 stores. PT and TP were both available, though we didn't need any.

Locally, surface cleaners are one of the items that gets wiped out now. Hint - simple soap and water is highly effective for cleaning against the virus (dish soap and plain water in a spray bottle is nice), it breaks down the lipid (fat) shell, inactivates it. It's fine for any hard surface - counters, doorknobs, light switches,... No need for anything with harsher chemicals.

I did go for a second Destiny, just because [emoji3]

Listening to some of the individual GD concerts from their Europe 1972 tour, good music for a dreary weather day.

FYI if doing more serious cleaning such as cooked on food on the stove. Vinegar works wonders :)

After getting his produce list I got groceries for my Dad yesterday. He's got a few rolls of TP but said if I saw any Scotts, that's what he likes. He's very set in his ways, didn't want any Charmin I brought. No luck on any TP at the big chain markets near him.

My only other store visit this week was to get my wife's hair color - Garnier Nutrisse #80. Even a graying blonde needs to keep that color to stay sharp in her thinking! On my way out of Walgreen a short clerk was reaching to put a half dozen packs of TP on an empty shelf. She offered me one but said if I needed two, their limit, this other brand was half off the second pack. They were Scotts!

My wife now has a fresh shiny blonde look and my Dad's .... can remain shiny. Win-win!

I Agree with "DAD" ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

Hair usually grows approximately 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch per month . . . Just Sayin' . . .

I'm becoming a hippie so far.

   Still Am One . . .

My son is buzzing his...I have to straighten up the back and sides with the clippers and it’s stressful. He does it weekly. :?:

For close sides and back - will leave approximately 1/4 inch of hair left on scalp - use the #2 guard on the clipper head . . . Or if he wants it a little longer - approximately 3/8 - 1/2 inch of hair left on scalp - use the #3 guard . .. And then just follow the hairline at the temple & nape areas to the occipital bone/crown depending on how short he wants it . . .

Hey everybody. Hope you’re all safe and well. :)

checked in here last night and saw @Rossum’s comment about PMTA first thing, lol. I’ve been stocked for ages but my birthday is coming up and I treated myself to a second SXK BB. I’ve been using the BB almost exclusively and have been Vaping more 6mg liquids so I’ve been shopping for those, too, which is fun. Wondering what the actual status of PMTA is - saw something on Reddit that it had been delayed. I’ll check around here on the boards for more info.

Y’all take care and chat soon :)

The 120-day extension the FDA is asking for is still pending. The 4th Circuit Court has yet to remand it to the Maryland District Court. The 4th Circuit is waiting for the plaintiff's opposition even though the plaintiff has already said they have no problem with the extension, given the pandemic  And , although I am not 100% clear on this, I think the time the plaintiff had to respond is overdue.

I was going to go grocery shopping today, but didn't get out the door as early as I wanted. The grocery store parking lot was about half full already by 10 AM, so I decided to try to get out early tomorrow. Did make it to the Dollar Store and got some of the food items there plus some other needed things. Even though I'm fortunate to be working full time at home, the days are all blending together and its becoming a real drag. The dogs like having me around though. 20200124_211222.jpg 20200124_211217.jpg 20200124_211123.jpg

Pitbulls are shadows that love nothing more than being with their humans. Well maybe snacks. My pitbull is my wife's shadow.
