I don't know about that. You government up north seems to be a bit more open minded in general. I mean you guys have legal weed now right?

Those are not necessarily related. In the People's Republic of California, weed is not only legal but also available in flavors that are highly attractive to children--fruit, chocolate, desserts. Not to mention edibles of all kinds--brownies, gummy bears, chips, candy bars. Two years ago you'd end up in jail for selling this stuff. Just ask Ms. Harris.

OTOH, juul was invented in San Francisco and everybody loved those Mango and Mint flavors. Now Mango juice a crime.

Things change. They'll change again. They always do.

Fair enough. It does seem odd that many restrictions are finally being lessened on weed, but restrictions on e-cigs are taking its place.

Doesn't help the folks here unless they are able to leave the country.
I was just saying that because you said unless the world does a 180, it's not the world that is the problem it's predominantly bad players in the US government under BT rule.

Yeah we're screwed here. I mean there are those of us who are prepared but that does nothing for the masses.

I'd say it's a little more than odd. There's mischief afoot.
Weed legal and in flavours and sweeties.
Cigarettes killing thousands and thousands each year.
Vaping 95% safer than cigarettes, hardly any deaths other than certain people being naughty with it.
Maybe it has something to do with revenue. Maybe it has something to do with taxes. Maybe we can just be open when the facts are staring us in the face and admit that there can be no other option for this ludicrous behaviour other than it's simple CORRUPTION.

Caffeine and nicotine are manageable vices for me.

I am leaning towards this perspective at this time. It's hard to be sure, but preparations have ensured I have a little more time to decide on my own.

There is a lot to be interested in. A lot of directions you can take.

I went down to zero nic for a year with absolutely the intention of stopping entirely. I discovered that my depression flared to a horrible level and my anxiety disorder reared its ugly head again. Went back on a very low level of nic and poof it all vanished. Even my Doc agrees that the low level of nic is a far better solution for me than serious pharmaceuticals for anxiety and depression given the side effects I have with the drugs.

Hi @Myrany, out of curiosity did you have depression/anxiety prior to nicotine use?

I've found a similar effect with depression/anxiety. It's as if nicotine supplements something in the brain chemistry that is lacking. It sort of takes the edge off. It's an imbalance I've had prior to nicotine use, so I believe it's not the case where nicotine withdrawal is actually creating the imbalance. However I am trying to be mindful of longterm use, what kind of consequences there may be from a neurological perspective.

Or if you knew how much time and money you would have spent on it... If it gets you off an unhealthy tobacco product, thats great. But do you really need to stock up to use at a certain level for the rest of your life? That's the question I pose to myself, and I haven't found an answer.

I think an important and difficult question to ask is if you need vaping for the rest of your life? Or do you really need nicotine? Or is the time you spend on vaping unhealthy or otherwise interfering with your life?

Not here to judge anyone, just bring up the idea that stocking up isn't the only answer. Quitting or curtailing vaping habits is another option to consider.

True, it's not the "only" answer. But I prefer to have it be MY choice if and when, not the governments. If I choose to stop, well, I'll have lots to pif :) If I don't, I can vape for a long time with no additional costs.

My last relapse came after 10 YEARS. Quitting is easy but then you have to never relapse EVER. For me vaping is garanteed relapse protection because I find it to be entirely superior to smoking. Even if I stopped vaping I'd maintain the stock pile to protect against another once in 10 years event. I believe it's true for some people that nicotine is medicinal (may be including me). What is the justification for social pressure to stop doing something that appears to be harmless? And too bad my first puff as a kid was smoke instead of vapor. In my view protecting kids means letting parents decide about vaping off school property. (If kids first puff was on a 0 nic vape toy most of them would have their curiosity satisfied.)

With no government threats I would have a couple of mods and one bottle of nic instead of drawers full of stuff and a decades supply of nic. That up front commitment makes me more likely to keep vaping. May be I've written already, most of the kid involvement started with the pods. Those succeeded because adult vapers wanted more discrete devices to counter the public backlash.

In the mean time, on the day after the PTMA rules, will Heartland and MFS be filling orders? Will USPS, UPS, etc. be delivering orders from FT and other off shore retailers? I'm providing for myself and a younger brother. I have no regrets about the cost and time to do that regardless of what happens next.

I of course started out with 510 attys, cartridges and cartos since that was all that was available back then and continued to use factory coils for a long time swearing that I had no interest in making my own coils or sub ohm vaping. I bought my first kayfun at some point and was hooked on building. It wasn't until puresmoker went out of business and I couldn't get my beloved silverleaf menthol that I started mixing. I got some really good help from people on the forum and now haven't bought any commercial liquid in a very long time. I'm stocked with hardware and nic for the rest of my life if I choose to continue vaping that long. I think I probably will but you never know. It saddens me that others like me may never have the chance to change their lives. I have a history of copd in my family due to them all being career smokers which I was for 23 years. I thank god that I saw a little news story on tv about njoy back in 2009. It made me curious enough to look online and find this forum.

I started with RN 4xxx cart stuff (not even cartomizer [emoji3]) in July 2010. Thankfully I picked up KR808D-1 cartomizer-based gear as soon as I found ECF.

I started DIY eliquid in Oct 2010.

I didn't get into coiling until just a couple years ago.

    Where I'm at:

Several decades worth of nic in the freezer.

Multiple RDA/RTA, at least 2 of any favorites, with spare glass where necessary.

Tanks and a multi-year supply of heads if I can't build.

Plenty-o-mods, including a decent number of mechs and spare 510s (my mech squonkers are easy to rebuild with 510s and copper contacts).

I use 510 extenders, which minimizes mod 510 connectors wearing out.

A healthy PIF/sale "extra" stash. I bought on those good sales we were finding.

Don't-care on flavors (what I use will remain available, I'm confident, and I'm not tense about going flavor-free if necessary).

Multiple years of wire, which I expect to remain available. Similar for wick (Cellucotton rayon).

Depression, Anxiety and Insomnia have been a lifelong battle for me. Long before I started smoking as a teenager I had these problems.

Me it was total strangers on an online gaming forum that got me to try vaping and directed me here. At the time I had to order everything since the concept of vape shop just was not to be found in a 100 mile radius of this small Louisiana town at the time. Within a couple of years we had 3 shops in town. Now we have none. Evali shut them all down.

Think you nailed it there. Weed moves money from the people to the pockets of the politicians, vaping does the opposite. That's true for both Parties so we ain't got no friends at all. Call it corruption, or just the way things work in the world's greatest Corporatocracy. Unfortunately tribal loyalty takes precedence over facts here so very few people even notice.

TUES rest of eLiquids arrive. Will do my tasting thing & then my final order. Need Kanthal & Wicking Materials. Need protank mini
    O-rings. Anything you can add?
Do you ever go to sleep? Or is the Fasttech drama making you an insomniac?
. I sleep when needed. Not GMO! Eat sleep work play & go as needed, Not on command. How crazy is that Hey Sport recommend me a Stick Mod to Fuel 1.2 - 2.5 ohm coils, dependably priced Togo Thank you

Everyone will tell you something different to stock up on. My choice besides plenty of 100mg nic was many geekvape mods. For me they have been bulletproof. I've got six or seven of the solos, two minis, a legend, an aegis max, aegis squonk, aegis 100w, aegis x. I also like the Jac DNA75 mods and have four of those with a couple extra dna boards that I could replace myself. I've got a bunch of other mods too but those are my favorites. On tanks, I've accumulated many different rtas over the years. I went with geekvape also on a bunch of my tanks. I have 10 zeus single coil rta's, several ammit mtl rdas, a couple of the zeus dual, zeus x, and a zeus x mesh, and a handful of cerberus tanks that I stocked vaporesso gtccell coils for . I also decided to stock up on some drop in coils for the zeniths and zlide 4ml tanks. I have a variety of resistances and probably about 250 coils or so. I have also done a bunch of reviews for a few different companies so have been fortunate enough to add those to the stash. I also like the Vaporesso Gen mods and can use the gtccell coils in most of the tanks that come with those.

Today's mail was a spare set of black cf panels for the pulse x/80.

I received my shipping notice for the preordered Pulse v2 from myvpro [emoji106]

My only outstanding items are a bit more kanthal and the preorder Aspire Mixx.

(Back in prime stocking up days I would have up to 10 orders in play at any given time [emoji16] )

I did not suceeded with vaping until february month.
A good juice pluss better mods & tanks was the key. I used my time to level down the ammount cigs I needed a day, nowadays I’m down to 2 cig a day.
Since february I’ve bought 2 Innokin Kroma-R, jac vapour DNA 75, Lost Vape Centaurus, Limelight Wicket R1 BF60, Aspire Mixx.
The tanks I’ve bought, Zenith Pro, Zlide 2 & 4ml, 3x Siren2, Ammit RTA, 2x Ether RTA, Ares 2, Kayfun Prime.
I love the Limelight, Kayfun Prime, but they are pricey.
Price wise I’m super happy with the Jac Vapour, Mixx, Ether RTA, I’ll probleby end up buying more of them.

I need to stock up quality wire & cotton, would like to get one Aspire Nautilus GT Mini and a Pioneer MTL RTA.

Ejuices.com and Eliquid.com have their Dog Days of August going on again this year until 11:00AM on the 19th. This year it's a little different though, as far as how it works.

$8 off an order of $50 or more - Code is DOGDAYS8
$15 off an order of $75 or more - Code is DOGDAYS15
$25 off an order of $100 or more - Code is DOGDAYS25

A particularly good deal, IMO, if anyone's interested:

Ejuices.com has the Aegis Max 100W mods in stock in 5 different color combinations/finishes. They can use the 18650, the 20700, or the 21700 and come with an adapter for the 18650 battery. They're regularly $39.98 each there, but I've seen them for more elsewhere. With the discount, if you buy 2, you end up paying just $32.48 each with Free S/H. If you buy 3, you pay $31.65 each with Free S/H.

    Geekvape Aegis Max Mod

I ordered 1 last week, and when it came in the mail Saturday...I decided I definitely liked the size, the feel and fit of it in my hand, etc., well enough to order more. So I placed another order last night.
