@UncleJunkle: I don't have a good handle on how much liquid I use a day, because of multiple units in rotation. Assuming I stick with 6mg mixes and assuming 10 ml/day, it'll last about 50 years. I'll be 62 soon, so it will need to be in my will.

Got glass amber bottles coming to transfer the nic to. Also have a swag 2 coming. In the process of trying to collect on a warranty with my geek vape aegis solo mod. Hopefully they will answer back or I can get through tomorrow when I call and it goes through and I can get back up to 4 vw mods (once my swag 2 gets here).

@Bliss Doubt . . .

FYI:

Yea - A "kick" would be good too:

Kick Module for Mechanical MOD - N.D. × 4

Replacement Variable Wattage Kick Module for Mechanical Mod / PV - (5~12 Watts) - 3FVape

I don't know this vendor, but found it listed here:

Kick Module for Mechanical MOD - N.D.

Hope this information is helpful . . . :D

BTW: I have an original "Bolt", however it died - I really wish I knew where to get it fixed . . . Do you know anyone ?

.
Hi again. I came back to see if there were any more replies, and I see I missed your suggestion of the Kick.

Wow, what a site you linked, unishow at wholesalecentral. All kinds of great junk, like a flea market. Their minimum order is 200.00. If I were cashed up and had a lot of time, I think I could find 200.00 worth of goodies. 58 pages of ecig stuff. Cornbread eliquid! I want one of those jazz hats, but you have to buy 10 of them. I am so tempted to try some of those rebuildables, and I actually have tools and wire and so forth, from a previous resolution to tackle it, but in the end, I'm afraid I'll get it wrong and blow up my apartment.

Anyway, I'll go back to that site when my business isn't being smashed by the Covid cootie.

Thanks again.

unishow is one of the wholesale arms of vaporider.deals who no longer has the kick for sale (I bought a few last year). Regardless, in order to buy from Unishow you would have to produce a businesses license and possibly even a tobacco reseller license issued by your state.

But even if they would sell to you they don't have any Kicks in stock anymore Kick Module for Mechanical MOD - N.D. - The LEADING USA VAPOR Wholesale Electronic Cigarette and Vaping Supply

Anyone know where to get innokin ares 2 mtl 24mm tank replacement glasses or other tank glasses that are compatible?

FastTech's got them for the best price, and they're authentic Innokin. They won't ship until after Chinese New Year holiday is over, but...would arrive before the USPS shipping ban takes effect.

$1.87 Authentic Ares 2 D24 Replacement Glass Tank - 4ml at FastTech - Free Shipping

$7.19 5PCS Ares 2 D24 Replacement Glass Tank 5-pack - authentic Innokin / 4ml at FastTech - Free Shipping

I'll also look for and post some from vendors in the US.

Innokin Ares 2 Replacement Pyrex Tank Section – VaporDNA - $3.99 each + S/H

There are more, but Windows10 is doing funky things. I'll get them though.

ETA: This vendor has a Canadian website and a US one. The link below is for purchasing through their US website:

Innokin Ares 2 Replacement Glass by Innokin - It's the 6mL bubble glass.

Those 2 above are the only US ones I can find that have them In Stock.

i was afraid of that kind of thing, too.
Then i built a single-coil MTL RTA. Took a few tries before it worked but got it to work.
Tried a dual coil RTA and made an awful mess; burnt taste & leaked all over the place. Then tried an RBA for a pod mod. It shorted. Then another RBA and it leaked like a broken dam.
Through it all, nothing blew up. Home survived, mods survived, i survived. And i'll try again when i have the time. Because a few rebuildables are a whole lot less expensive than a thousand drop-in coils and because who knows for how long any drop-in coils will be available.
Moral: Might be worth considering adding some rebuildables to your long term stash 'o vape stuff.

Yay! Thank you for this! I just got this tank and am in complete love with it, but I don’t have replacement glasses for it. If I shop anymore I got to get some.

I'm glad you survived. Love the description of your attempts, so comical. Props for trying.

The truth is, over the years I have hoarded the Aspire ET-S BVC coils, toward the vapocalypse. PerfectVape usually has them for 5-6 dollars per 5-pack, so every few months I've acquired a box of ten 5-packs. I think I'm getting close to a thousand coils, and bunches of the Aspire glass clearomizers. My brothers have been given names and phone numbers to call if I should drop dead, so all these valuable supplies get to vapers who will use them. I'm referencing a previous commenter who said he wrote a vape will.

So at this point, the temptation to try rebuilding is just the challenge of it, the call to girl power, and the fact that I long ago collected all the special tools and wire and cotton. There's even a special wire coiling tool in my kit. Next weekend I'll make a list of what I have, take photos, measure it all out and estimate a priority mail shipping box size, and if you want it, you can have it all for free, and just pay for the shipping postage through my Paypal account.

    Somewhere between here and there
Early on I swore I’d never use sub ohm then I did. Then I never wanted to build coils and I did. Then I swore I’d only use rebuildables and then I started stocking up on drop in coils. It’s been a merry go round over the years. Learn to build rtas or rdas and you’ll always know you can if you have to. Right now I use a mix of drop ins and rtas.

I remember my first coil build. I didn’t have my coil building tool I have now that makes perfect wraps. I was wrapping around a 1/16th drill bit. It works just fine. My skills were not so much...it was warped downward on both ends and kind of tilted side ways. I remember being so proud until I looked at the video I was watching and theirs were so pretty. Lol After some straightening up it worked out! After much practice I just kept getting better and better! I love building my own coils! After all of these years I am still learning when it comes to building coils (and vaping in general). I love it! Vaping has become such a huge part of my life. I am very grateful for this forum and a couple others I found before I came here, because so many people aided in my vaping journey.

If I were you...I'd hang on to all of that. When I started vaping I planned to only use clearomizers, tanks, and drop-in coils, because I was happy with them and they were easy to use. I never thought I'd want to learn how to use RBAs of any kind.

In late 2015-early 2016 I decided I really ought to learn how to use them though. I started by using a little 2mL capacity RTA that had a really small build deck...not on purpose, but rather because the parts to make them were available from FastTech, were inexpensive, and lots of ECF members were loving them. They were buying more, posting hints and tips for using them, saying what great flavor they got from them, etc., so I thought, "what the heck...I could at least give them a try, too." It turned out that I loved the little things and the great flavor I got from them! It didn't take many tries to get a decent coil made, installed, and wicked. I was hooked and bought enough parts to make at least a dozen more. Shortly after buying more spools of wire though...I discovered pre-wound coils from FastTech! Wow...what a game changer those were, and they were only about $.04 each! All I had to do was install the coil and wick it. It was easy-peasy!

After learning on those cheap, little RTAs with a tiny deck...every other RTA and/or RDA I've bought has been a cinch to use. Their build decks are bigger and much easier to install a coil and wick it. I'm glad I decided to learn how to use them, especially because of what's been happening with vaping since then. I've loaded up with my favorite RTAs since then, and I'm very glad I've done that. Did I also stock up on drop-in coils, too, though? Yes, I did! I have enough for my lifetime and likely for several other people, too. Using RTAs might become difficult in years to come, as I get older, and I'll rely on those drop-in coils.

Now, there are RTAs made with an even larger build deck...giving a lot more room to work with for those who need it. I would definitely at least give 1 or 2 of those a shot...before you give away all of your "stuff". Getting some pre-wound coils is also something that I'd suggest that you consider, at least to start with. Once you get the hang of using them...then you'll likely be ready to use your own coil-making supplies, too.

Totally agree, JC. The current crop of RBAs are a LOT easier to deal with than the ones that came out 5 or 6 years ago. Those didn't just have tiny decks, but you had to wrap the wire around a screw and somehow not deform your coil in the process. The first RTA I ever tried was an Erlkonigen. My coils weren't that pretty, but they worked and it had better flavor than any clearomizer I had, so I was hooked. Nowadays, most decks are either velocity decks or postless decks, which are very easy to install a coil in.

Don't forget the Kayfun 5 and Subtank style decks. Those are so easy to mount/trap coil legs that it should be illegal lol I still see a good many single coil RTAs released with this mounting system.

I got on the rebuilding kick my first year vaping and for me it was what at the time we thought would be the vapocalypse of the coming deeming that did it. Mechs and Rebuildables are sustainable without access to a shop.

What got me buying drop in coils last year was hearing from my eye doctor that I will need cataract surgery in the future. That got me thinking what will I do if the eyesight fails. I can walk the non-vaper hubby through changing a drop in coil. I will NEVER walk him through building.

Everyone should have at least a little of both sorts imho.

Bi-lateral cataract surgery was, for me, a very good thing. In my left eye I had a 'reading' or coil making lens inserted. In my right eye I had a 'distance' lens inserted. The only time I wear glasses these days is when driving, they help with depth perception. All other drivers, without knowing it, are thankful for that. I see better than I ever have in all my seventy-five years. Best to you going forward.

I have just stocked up! on 1 box mod, 1 pod system,1 rda, 1 rta, 1 rdta, 18650s, lots of nic salts, CBD eJuice, CBD Isolate oil. I wonder if there is anything I still need to get...?

Just FYI from my shopping. I have noticed that it can be kind of difficult to find 18650 batteries and my vape equipment at the same time. Came across this 7 Best 18650 Batteries for Vaping | High Drain Sub Ohm - Mega Vaper so I didn't have to purchase my 18650 batteries at a battery only store.

You must've already had a bunch of mods, RDAs, RTAs, and RDTAs already then...right? Either that, or you possibly don't plan to vape for the longterm and/or you aren't located in the US. Or...you just posted that for S&G! :D

After finding out my wife prefers black Minifits I ordered a couple more from Everzon, plus something I've been lacking - a shortfill cap opener! Those bottles will be much easier to work with in the future, with far less swearing.:D

Hoping to see this order in a month or so.
