I don't know about that.

Simple name change. There are (albeit super expensive) DTs on Amazon. Except they call them quick fitting 510 adapters for coffee makers

This post is for any newbie stockers who may be reading this thread.

If I wrong here, please correct me.

Regarding Mesh RTAs: I've been looking around and have come to the conclusion that you can't buy the mesh needed for mesh RTAs from places like Temco or any other non-vape retailer. These mesh strips/rolls seem to only be sold by vape retailers and it's packaged in vape-specific packaging, which makes it's a "tobacco product" in the eyes of the US govt (and probably any other vape-averse govt for that matter).

This means that mesh RTAs are no different than factory coil tanks (aka clearomizers) because in order to keep them running you have to stash a supply of mesh for as long as you plan on keeping the tank in operation. The only difference being that it's probably a lot cheaper to stock years/decades worth of mesh than it is to stock years/decades worth of coil heads.

Regular RTAs aren't big deal since they can't ban the shipment or sale of wire (Kanthal, Nichrome, SS, etc), at least not legally.

So if you're stocking up on mesh RTAs, don't forget to stock that mesh! But if money's tight, regular old wire coil RTAs will be your best bet.

Again, if I wrong, someone please correct me.

Actually you can buy mesh in spools and in sheets as Seiggy has already mentioned. And I learned after stocking up on over 420+ mesh strips, that two mesh strips of mine in use now which I vaped over 900ml worth of juice through them so far. And they show no signs of slowing down yet. They really clean up nicely. So it seems I probably have an overstock of about 400 strips.

And like hittman, I too have both decks from my Zeus X tanks so I can use either or too. And while I haven't tried it, you probably could use the clampdown screws on the mesh deck to attach coils too.

Yes, you are correct. Vandy Vape sells spools of that in SS316L 5' length in 150, 200,400 mesh about 3/8" wide. I also have the sheets from back in the day of 150 & 400 SS316 if I remember correctly.

Thanks to both of you for the correction/clarification about mesh RTAs.

Flavorings are not going anywhere. But flavored eliquids will only be available via vape shops, I'm afraid.

    Welcome back!

One of my all time favorite online vendors, Vape Dudes, will be selling kits of flavorings and Pg/Vg. Or just flavorings. For someone who diy's, this is great that I can make one of my favorite juices, Buttery Nipple, at home and no hit or miss when it comes to flavor.

However, you're on your own when it comes to nic.

    Just a Heads Up...

I was poking thru a Box of Old Stuff looking for some CLR Coils I'm going to send someone. And I came across a Built-In Battery Mod that I had Forgotten about.

I remember Discharging it down to about 40% on the mod's battery meter. And I kinda remember putting it in the box Maybe 5 ~ 6 Months ago? And Vaguely remember say'n I should Check in 2 months or so and make sure it is holding a charge. But I Never Did.

Anyway. It was Dead as a Doornail.

Not sure if I can Save It or Not? I plugged it into a USB LED Display Charger. After about 40 Minutes of charging at 0.03 Amps, it is has Now jumped up to charging at 0.50 Amps with 200mAh charged. But the Mod still Won't Turn On. So we'll see.

Anyway. If Anyone has any Built-In Battery Mods in storage, Don't just Chuck them in a Box and Forget about them. Pull them out and Check them Periodically.

Else your Backup might become a Stylish e-Cigarette Paperweight.

Keep a close eye on them. I hear it's dangerous to charge dead Liions and Lipos?

And thanks for the info. I have 4 internal batt mods that are new in box, sealed, and I think it's time I open them and check them. Probably 5-6 years old now.

Yeah... I'm Charging it in a Ceramic Baking Dish. Figure if the Mod decides to go Vesuvius on me, it won't Pompeii my Desk.

BTW - 370mAh and still no Display on the Mod.

My built in battery mods are in use now. when they die they die. My replaceable battery mods are my long term plan. :)

I do have 4 built in battery mods I have discovered I just don't much like so even though they are in current rotation I don't really care how soon they die. They are so tiny my arthritic fingers find them hard to hold on to. Sad but true.

If it seems to be taking a charge, my guess is that you still haven't reached the voltage on the batt at which the mod will operate (usually 3.0-3.5 volts?)

    I'm keeping My Fingers crossed.

But I'm Not overly Optimistic. Because I'm at 625mAh out of what is supposed to be 1,300mAh total. And still No Screen.

There was a person on another forum that bought some clearance integrated battery mods from Ejuicesteals that arrived DOA. He removed the battery from one to charge it but was able to charge the others via USB. But IIRC, it did take a while.

I've done Similar things to a few Cordless Tool Batteries. The Charges I have will Refuse to charge a Battery Pack below a given Voltage. Which is a Safety Feature.

I was able to get a Few More miles out of a few of them. But they were All kinda Funky. And ended up just Recycling them.

I have Ego's from 10 years ago that still work.

My iStick 20w's are like that. I pull them off the shelf once in awhile and give them 5 Clicks. The 510 Threads are kinda Wobbly. But they still work.

My iStick 40w's are going strong Also. I actually use them occasionally as an On-the-Go Mod. Always Like the iStick 40w.

How long you can store a mod with a battery depends totally on the power down current draw. Some are so low that it is infinitesimal. While others are pretty bad. One way is to check them frequently at first to see how fast it is dropping overtime. Then you can gauge how long you can leave them unchecked.
