Much to my chagrin I realized today that I am severely lacking in functional enjoyable mouth to lung RTAs

I found a vertex MTL by hellvape that looks like it fits my bill has a lot of praise from reviewers even though it's a pretty new product this year it came out can't find a lot of regular consumers that have it. I don't feel like paying $60 with shipping for the Brunhilde then it's my own fault for waiting this long and not doing inventory but I can pay $33 with shipping for this vertex jammy. I just wish I could hear from one person that it's good it looks like it's good it has the options. Just wondering if anyone in here has heard of it has a friend who has it has any experience with it other than reviewers I know it doesn't exactly fit the thread but I am panic buying something right now and I think that does suit the thread

Is this the Vertex you're talking about, Ava?

Horizon Vertex Plus RTA Kit

If so, it's definitely NOT an MTL rta. I like DL with a little bit of resistance, and had to turn this one way, way down. It's very airy.

We will prevail. It may be a while but I think vaping will hopefully be accepted... one day
Hope so. Pot took 80 years to go from prohibition to legal in some states. Both prohibitions based in fear mongering financed by big business and piled on by zealots.

There's a difference between the vertex MTL and the vertex plus. Not the same beast. As an aside, I wonder why they called it the vertex. In obstetrics, that's the term for the baby being born head first. I guess it's better than them calling it the breech.

Let's adjust this for age - What is a lifetime supply?

People here, and elsewhere are bragging about 20 years of nicotine - How old are they? 20, 30, 40, 50 ????

OK chances are you will live to use it
    - But what if you are mid 70s - A lot of people, especially in their 70s are probably near their end
    - that includes smokers, non-smokers, vapers, etc

So if I approximate 5 years worth of hardware, mixed juices and some straight nic it should get me to near 80
    - Assuming I live to 80 will I be sorry I didn't buy more while I could? Of course you never know.

William C. Douglass, MD author of:
The Health Benefits of Tobacco: Douglass MD, William Campbell ...
"The Health Benefits of Tobacco Paperback – March 1, 2004. The benefits of smoking tobacco have been common knowledge for centuries. From sharpening mental acuity to maintaining optimal weight, the relatively small risks of smoking have always been outweighed by the substantial improvement to mental and physical health."

Died not too long ago at age 89. The book was written before vaping had become well known. Douglass claimed he and his wife smoked cigars, several a day.

I used to deal in used books - this is the only book I've ever seen, written by a well known doctor was promoting tobacco !!! Still worth a read if you can get a copy and it may still be in print {Amazon might have a copy}. I'm sure he would have approved of vaping and would have been a good advocate.

At 89 he outlived many more traditional doctors who were already preaching that tobacco use was the worst thing you could do for your health.
I only wish that he had lived till 90 so he could have blown smoke up their xxx !!!

I 'may' be done stocking up !

Pretty sure everyone around here shot for around 90-100 years old. And we have a diverse group of members so the amount of nicotine varies. I have 8 liters (maybe 9, don't feel like going to basement) am 40 years old and that's enough to make it somewhere between 75-100 years old.

My vaping has increased recently. Maybe I should order an MFS liter or two. DARNIT! LOL sick of spending money in general let alone on vape stuff I won't use for 40 years.

There are varied amounts of stashes as there are varied amounts of people. Some overprepared and some underprepared. Someone with a 60 year stash might die in an accident next year and someone with a 20 year stash might live for 40 more years. None of us know our futures, we can only prepare the best we can and adapt to changes as they come.

Darn. Mfs would have been 10.00 cheaper. Unfortunately, I already placed the order with nic giant and can’t cancel.

IMO, it's a good thing that you ordered nic base from Nicotine Giant instead of from MFS. I've actually bought 100mg/mL nicotine base from both of them in the past. I loved the nic base from Nicotine Giant and even ordered 2 more Liters from them. The Liter from MFS was short of a Liter, by 180mLs, and was very "peppery". I gave it away to friends who liked peppery nic base for the stronger throat hit. Have never ordered any more from them!

ETA: Since the Liter from MFS was short by 180mLs...and MFS couldn't tell me for sure what that 180mLs was composed of (ie. plain VG, or nicotine, or some of both)...they told me the only way to know the strength of what was received...was to buy the chemicals needed to test it. I did that, and it tested out at a strength of 99.6mg/mL. So the 180mLs missing was mostly VG and a small amount of nicotine.

You know I think I'll just take the fact that you looked at it and decided it was worthy to try and probably just pick one up that way at least I can check my box off that I have one other than my doggies which I love and the Ares original which I could love if it wasn't for the top side open screw situation where I have to hold it down and I'm afraid I'm going to pinch my finger lol.. thanks!

I hope we both like them.

Legalization doesn't cause bad decision making. It's no different than drinking, which is legal, when it comes to personal responsibility. Impaired driving is impaired driving and the law treats them the same, as a DUI.
Legalization may not be a direct cause of individual bad decisions however legalization is going to increase the number of people utilizing marijuana for medical or recreational reasons. So it is going to make it more of a common occurrence.

hmmm? Lighfire/Kanger site must be updating their billing for the new rules and regulations. I was never charged the PA ecig tax when placing orders with them.

In PA the tax rate for e-cigarettes is 40 percent of the purchase price from the wholesaler.

But it looks like Lightfire is charging an addition 40% on retail. My ~$12 order had a tax added for $4.80 (40% of $12). I guess if they did it on wholesale we could do the math backwards and figure out their wholesale cost for 'stuff'.

Just doesn't seem right they should charge me 40% of retail. :-x

That's not a sales tax added in which is 6% in PA which would only be $0.72

If your state has Ecig taxes and you order from them, pay attention if you are charged and if you are charged correctly.

    Other Tobacco Products Tax.

    E-cigarettes/Vapor products
The tax rate for e-cigarettes is 40 percent of the purchase price from the wholesaler on the following:

    • Electronic cigarettes — defined as an electronic oral device, such as one composed of a heating element and battery, electronic circuit or both. An electronic cigarette provides a vapor of nicotine or any other substance, and the use or inhalation of an electronic cigarette simulates smoking.

It only makes sense that the increased cost associated with the tax get's passed down to the consumer in my opinion.

They're not asking for a tax from Colorado yet and we did have one recently. Don't know when it takes effect though.
