Looked up the new Colorado tax I was talking about. Apparently it's for juice only so that wouldn't have applied to anything I ordered recently anyways.

That's not uncommon with state vapor taxes to only tax liquid and closed systems.

And it's highly unlikley that any future vapor tax (or any tax) would affect past purchases anyhow.

Looked up the new Colorado tax I was talking about. Apparently it's for juice only so that wouldn't have applied to anything I ordered recently anyways. Assuming we're talking about a common sense definition of "does not contain nicotine" and not the PMTA version.

"With the passage of Proposition EE, the new tax on vape products will start at 30% in 2021 and increase to 62% in 2027. Vaping products and devices that do not contain nicotine are not subject to the tax. "

Here is the Colorado definition of a vape product:

NEWS: Colorado Tobacco and Nicotine Taxes to Rise Jan. 1 After Voters Overwhelmingly Approve Proposition EE - Tobacco Free Colorado
Colorado Revised Statutes Title 18. Criminal Code § 18-13-121 | FindLaw

I have quoted the relevant part

(4) Deleted by Laws 1998, Ch. 284, § 2, eff. July 1, 1998.

(5)(a) As used in this section, “cigarette, tobacco product, or nicotine product” means:

(I) A product that contains nicotine or tobacco or is derived from tobacco and is intended to be ingested or inhaled by or applied to the skin of an individual;  or

(II) Any device that can be used to deliver tobacco or nicotine to the person inhaling from the device, including an electronic cigarette, cigar, cigarillo, or pipe.

(b) Notwithstanding any provision of paragraph (a) of this subsection (5) to the contrary, “cigarette, tobacco product, or nicotine product” does not mean a product that the food and drug administration of the United States department of health and human services has approved as a tobacco use cessation product.

I think they have pretty much followed the PMTA guidelines to make sure to tax the heck out of any vape product out there. The nearly 10% sales taxes apply on top of the vape tax, so don't forget to add that to the total you would pay for your goodies.

If it was shipped 4px then that’s where they go before being transferred to USPS. All of my sourcemore and Everzon orders go there.

I see that my last Gearbest order went there, and it was actually delivered 4 days later. Hopefully this one will get here as fast.

I think I’m finally done stocking up. I have enough nic to last me till I’m in my 70s. I got a good number of rtas, rdas, mods, and a couple mechs. Hopefully I won’t have to rely on the mechs because I’m a regulated guy. I have always wanted boxer mods so I got two DNA models and two Yihi. I also got a riva dna as well. I got as much fancy wire as I could from Advanced vape supply when they still had it. I could learn how to make them myself after I run out.

Right now I’m just broken hearted. I’m going to miss the days of being excited for new products coming out and being able to get one to my house in a couple days at a reasonable price. Hopefully fasttech and other Chinese sources will still hook us up but it will never be the same as the golden era.

I really like the Riva. I never would allow myself to spend the money on much dna stuff but with the ban coming I bought a riva, two Dovpo Odin mini dna 75c, and a Thelema Dna250c. I’m really enjoying them.

I still have four or five packages coming from sourcemore and Everzon. I got some wire today from 3a. Sourcemore sent out an email a week or two ago and said they aren’t going anywhere and will continue to ship.

I was going to post this earlier, when I was more or less sober, but I had to go to work..

My last order of nic arrived today, and I realized that I have 3 Smok Aro clearos, and half a dozen Evod clearos, and 2 Protank 2's, and a Phantus Mini(OMG, is it a heavy little mod. I remember why I put it aside), and could probably cobble together an R80 folding pipe.

I worry that I am going to find more....lol

That plant in Melrose Park is where the Antz look over packages for anything out of the ordinary! :w00t:

"Melrose Park" is an anagram for Mr Lake Poser.

Which is the Code Name for the Head ANTZ in the Lake Michigan area.

    Just say'n.
