I have a bunch of vape bands for my glass tanks :)

I bought a bunch too, but for about a year now I've been living on the edge and not using one. Then last week I had my mod with a tank on it laying on it's side on my desk and I dropped another mod onto the tank and it shattered the glass. Luckily that glass was already chipped to he|| and back on one edge and I have a ton of them.

I should go back to using a vape band, but a band would not likely have saved the glass in this instance. It was a hard impact from a Pico Mega, which is rather heavy with the 26650 in it lol. It was only maybe a foot drop.

Yikes! I have been using vape bands lately since I have dropped several tanks attached to mods, luckily on carpet and no damage.

That glass I broke was in such bad shape, when it broke the only thing that pist me off was that I had lost juice and the fact that I had to throughly clean the tank and the desk meticulously because it literally shattered into like 50 pieces, many of them almost microscopic. I have so much of that class. Subtank mini, which fits my Subtank minis and my Melo 3 tanks. I probably have 30+ of these.

When I found the following 10-pack, I bought 3 packs and I probably already had 20 or more authentic STM glass + what came with my STMs and Melo tanks lol

Here is another good MTL tank that takes BVC coils, I have several of these and lots of BVC coils.

In addition to the Aspire K3 tanks that take the Nautilus BVC coil, I also have several of the Aspire K1 and K2 that take the regular BVC coil. Quite a few PT2, PT2 Mini, PT3 Mini, Evod Mega tanks, TopTank Mini, TopTank Nano, STM, and Innokin 16D and 16B clearos are in my stash, too. All of them, IMO, still vape great, too, and may be useful years down the road. I have a very large supply of coils for all of them, too. My Zeniths though...are definitely still my all-time favorite drop-in coils tank.

I forget do these fit a top tank?

Still haven't spent any money on vape (or much anything else) this weekend. Still thinking. Thanks for all the suggestions.

No, toptank mini takes different sized glass. About 3mm shorter than subtank.

For clear glass, these look to be cheapest.

Colors are as low as $0.86/pc. There is a 5-pack but it's more expensive per piece.

Are these new unused never tired of dry burned Kanthal coils?

Brand new, never used, never dry burned. This experiment is going to be more work than I thought lol. I'll put that in the blog post now that you mentioned it. I see your point.

I''ll see what happens with these and then I may do another experiment with dry burned coils if these don't rust.

A lot of the Aspire tanks are great MTL tanks, The original Nautilus and mini, Nautilus 2, Nautilus 3, Nautilus XS, Nautilus GT and GT mini, Aspire K3, Neeko, Onixx, Tigon, Triton, Triton 2.
First drop in coil tank I bought was an original Nautilus, still have it stashed away. I bought it for my Provari mini. Gee that seems like eons ago! LOL I have a Triton and RBA for it, never tried it yet.

I've been well stocked for years now but have been picking up some odds and ends...until last night when I checked my bank account. It appears I purchased some expensive beard grooming products in Denmark and had them shipped to somebody I don't know in NY City. I also bought a whole bunch of chicken sandwiches in South Carolina, another place I've never been. I cancelled my card so no other charges could be made. I'll be at the bank in the morning getting this sorted out. I'm stocked up and done!

Unfortunately, the code isn't going to work on any sale or clearance items, so it's essentially an overhyped MAP code me thinks.

I never look at the sale items on FT because they usually jack-up the shipping so high that it isn't worth buying. Everything I ever want is regular price so sitewide coupons always apply.

YoursTruli brings up a good point. I guess it depends on what type of result you're looking for. Potential pure storage purpose rust, or rust that may acquire over time on a used coil. Tests for storing dry-burned coils in a PG/VG solution over sitting out in a location with high humidity might be something to consider.
