Somewhere out there
I put in a new coil in the Voopoo PnP rba, I had some pre coiled just for the PnP and works pretty good. I also put a mesh spit ring on top and that really helped the hot juice spitting. Not too bad for how tiny that RBA is. Still have not recoiled the SMRT RBA, will try another in there too and see if I can get it to work. I need to put a new coil in the kayfun mini too. Just been so busy with other stuff :)

Speaking of PG ... :) ... I wonder when the PG stock situation is going to get better.

Essential Wholesale and Bulk Apothecary seem to have the best in-stock prices I've found.

After shipping...

BA - 8lbs comes out to be about $13.60/liter
EW - 7lbs comes out to be about $14.25/liter

...if my weights & calculations are are correct.

Makes Heartland (Hempnetix) not worth looking at when they do finally get some in stock because it looks like they no longer offer free shipping after $50.

EDIT: I believe my per liter cost calculations were off. I believe the proper per liter calculations are:

After shipping...

BA - 8lbs PG comes out to be about $15.49/liter
EW - 7lbs PG comes out to be about $14.82/liter

Actually, EW is 28.95 for 7 lbs with this disclaimer

While this propylene glycol is manufactured to USP specifications, it is considered cosmetic grade once it is repackaged.

It's probably ok for vaping, but there's better out there.

BA is 36.60 for USP grade, 8 lbs.

I think the prices you are quoting are for a lower grade, food grade, and not the best for vaping.

Yup I saw that. So basically it sounds like it's a gubment regulation thing. USP rebottled = cosmetic grade only (not USP) unless you are certified (which apparently EW is not).

I just emailed Bulk Apothecary to ask them if their 8lb and smaller sizes of PG are rebottled by them or a 3rd party and if it's still certified USP as a result. Let's see if they respond.

Makes you wonder about the nic and flavor resellers. I'd bet most, if not all, are rebottling their PG and VG from 55 gal drums or IBC totes (or even tankers?) just like they rebottle their flavor concentrates and I'd be surprised if they are certified to resell the rebottled USP substances they sell as USP.

My prices were converted to per liter costs (however even though I edited to show a different outcome, I'm still not sure I'm correct in my calculations/conversions).

I believe much of it has to do with Maintaining Sterility.

It also fits into some amount of Legal CYA.

Right, that's what I mean by certified. If they are rebottling USP to resell as USP, I imagine they have to be certified & inspected by the gubment to do so, otherwise it can only be sold as cosmetic grade.

Most of the time, PG and VG are purchased by the gallon, not liter. The prices I quoted from Tractor Supply are for a gallon.

I've always bought by liter, except for my last order last year.

Vaping has turned me into a metric head.

    Somewhere between here and there
I've always bought it by the gallon and would buy it from Amazon dirt cheap with free shipping, back in the olden days. But then I would also walk 20 miles in the snow to school too. Carried my lunch in a pail.

    Barefoot uphill both ways?

I miss the old days when essential depot used to sell glyCUBES, 4 gallons PG/VG combos with free shipping. They have since lost their minds with shipping pricing.
I miss that too! I bought my last gal of PG and VG off Amazon because free shipping with Prime
