Looking for heat sinks?

After much searching, I found some at AromaVapes - The Best Vaporizers For Less
They sell products for wax, oil, and dry blend products, but they have a selection of heat sinks that work fine with vape gear. They're $13.95 for three of the same size/material, plus shipping. The store is in New Jersey, and I received them in about a week.

If anyone needs, or just might want extras, of any of the following... Vapor Range has them already previously marked down in price. But...now there's also a 25% off sitewide Sale going on until 7/18 at 11:59PM. Coupon code is VR25.

KangerTech SSOCC Coils 0.5ohm for $7.49 - 25% = $5.62/box

AsMODus Galatek RDA for $2.95 - 25% = $2.21

AsMODus x Wotofo Colossal Flow Tank Kit for $19.95 - 25% = $14.96
(Blue is the only color available now.)

AsMODus Ohmie Replacement Glass for $3.49 - 25% = $2.62

They have other things, too, some might be interested in, since it's 25% off sitewide.

Man, that's expensive.

I think I'm starting to favor Ni80 over Kanthal. For several RDAs and even some tanks, the slow cool of the Kanthal really heats up a lot of atomizers. Some RDAs being too hot to touch your lips to.

I use Ni80 for certain tanks because I need more wraps. With kanthal, the resistance would be more than I want. I rotate between several different mods and don't like to have to change the watts every time I change attys. So I use what works to get the right resistance for the wattage I vape at. (If that makes sense). I don't really notice a lot of difference in taste or heat characteristics, though.

I can't stand the taste of Ni80 here. It gets far worse if you ever dry burn them. SS sometimes gets that taste too after you dry burn them. Yes even pulsing them as low as 4 watts which even won't get them to glow. I wonder if it is the nickel in both SS (300 series) and Ni80?

Heck, I bought 3 Seresto Flea collars on June 12th from a good looking site that turned out to be in China. Saved $30 on each collar, but I still don't have them, and the dogs are scratching. I'm wondering if the flea collars will be clones too.

Yeah, I can understand this. Vape gear for me right now is like Pokemon... tryna catch 'em all. I generally don't have issues finding a mod I can keep to an addy, also now that I have reliable batteries with proper amperages.

Not sure what happened to the pic but it's in the blog post. Nothing to report yet, no rust.

I'll give it a month, if I see no rust, I'll redo the experiment except with new coils that I'll glow first.

Just wondering how operation Missing Oxide is going?

Just checked and didn't see any rust but I didn't do a super close inspection. Next phase will be to use glowed coils but I need to find the ambition.

Just in case anyone is interested in the email from Kanger Wholesale/Lightfire Distribution...about the 20% off Sale on any/all Vaporesso kits from July 12-19....forget about it. Even though it doesn't say so in the email...I was just told by them that the sale is for Wholesalers ONLY. ;)

Those flea collars were delivered, and are indeed counterfeit. Watched some youtube videos, became suspicious, called Seresto's product support, read off the lot number, etc, & was advised that these "are not consistent with genuine products."
Granted the flea collars are made in Germany, and the fakes are made in China, so it's not apples to apples, as most vape hardware is made in china to begin with. Back to my original position: not gonna get into buying vape stuff from china. Just too much work for saving a coupla dollars. Plus I already have everything I'll need, and if the vape mail ban ends up being a paper tiger, it'll be back to business somewhat as normal. either way, I don't really care anymore.

That's right. Buying non-China brands directly from China will prove to be fakes 99.999% of the time, even if the non-china brands are made in china.

You can expect those fake flea collars to either be 100% ineffective or possibly even dangerous.

Those Flea Collars you bought are actually Fine.

But Unfortunately, they only kill Counterfeit Fleas.
