Anyone using a reliable online source for 18650s? Without worrying about shipping problems or having to do a delivery signature (and inherent fee)? Don’t want to go the b&m route, and my stash is starting to run low and weak. I’m assuming most folks are using the electrical supply sites, no?

batteries do not fall under the category of vape gear, so the shipping bans do not affect them. As mentioned before, buy your batteries from a reputable site. The b&m's don't generally sell reliable batteries, but cheap rewraps.

I was quite pleased with 18650batterystore. Fast shipping and I liked that the batteries came shipped in plastic cases. Multifunctional for me.

Just recently replaced all of my 18650s, two orders. Both from 18650BatteryStore. Fast shipping, and yeah, really like that they came in cases, no charge. :)

Hi David! So what did you get? I need to order new 18650s--mine are getting tired. I always check Mooch's recommendations, just curious what you like. I'm a low wattage person so I look for high capacity first, but Molicel is rated as best overall.

    Low wattage as well :)

First batch was the Molicel M35A, 10 amp cdr, 3500 mAh.

Second batch was the Molicel P26S, 35 amp cdr, 2600 mAh. Heck, those will get me through a tank ( about 4mls) with lots to spare, so they work well for tootling, too :)

My usual procedure is to pop in a fresh battery when I refill, so never run the batteries down. And being a low power vaper, never stress them near max, either.

Molicel it is then. Thanks, love!

And I agree. I never run my batteries down--ecigs, cell phones, toothbrushes.

I think you will be pleased. I ordered six9 of the Molicel and could not believe the difference a new battery makes. Amazing!

Good to know. Thanks! I've been wanting to try them for I don't know how long...

Maybe somebody will have a sale by then.
I honestly do not understand that much about batteries so I just go by trusted sources. I am 99.9% sure I the ones I needed. I thought they were reasonably priced. Here are the ones I bought.

    Molicel P26A 18650 2600mAh 35A Battery

I use them in a Sigelei and reo's. There was such a big difference, all my old ones were retired to flashlight usage only. unnamed.gif

Those are the ones I use too. I got one set that is going out on me and another that is thinking about it. I'm really hard on batteries since I chain vape at 75 watts. It's not been as bad since I've had 6 setups going, but some of my older batteries have seen hard times.

You are going to laugh at me (it's okay) but I have never vaped over 8 watts. I honestly don't know why I've never tried it. I just checked the Sigelei I use and it goes to 15 watts. I bought it back in 2014 the same time I last purchased batteries. I didn't know what a difference new ones would make. My old ones continued to fully charge so I thought I was okay. See what I mean? I need all the help I can get. unnamed.gif

Out of curiosity, what atty do you use and at what ohms?
Well, now you can have a chance to laugh at me too. unnamed.gif I am still using the old iClear30 on my old Sigelei Legend. I bought a bunch of replacement coils and I still have a small box full. On the Legend, I vape at 8 watts and it says 2.2 ohms. I have no idea why I've never tried another setting. I probably watched YouTube when I got it and if that is what they said to do, that is what I did. I am excellent at following orders.

I remember you from long ago so any words of wisdom or advice would be greatly appreciated. (or you can just chuckle) heehee On the reo's I still use the rm2 the most and a Vicious Ant. Any recommendation would be great since I am in the mood to upgrade. My only qualification is that it is easy peasy or has a real good video for me to follow.

I have no recommendations, was just curious as I sometimes vape as low as 7-9W (but that's rare, only when I use auto-ego or auto-cigalikes when I want a cigar-like or cigarette-like experience). Right now I'm vaping MTL at 12W on a Kangertech Kbox mod with a Kanger Aerotank Mega at 1.6x ohms with an RBA I kinda modified to fit it, because I'm testing it out, and another aerotank with some clone heads I found that so far seem great (because I hate the the authentic Kanger brand aerotank heads). The flavor is more intense from 12W to 20W to 30W, but so is the warmth, but sometimes I just want a low-flavor, low-powered, cooler vape. I know people laugh at that stuff, but these older clearomizers are the most worry-free and leak free tanks I ever had and they vape well. I only use more modern cotton versions of the coil heads, so that does help with flavor, because I do need some flavor even if just a little. Can't vape silica wicks .

Actually, I do have one recommendation: just stay where you are if it works for you and you have enough of what you need to keep vaping for as long as you feel like vaping. That's really ALL that matters.

I bought 33 feet of that from Fasttech when I first started rebuilding but I never got around to trying it. I still use Ko Gen Do (not sure of the name anymore) for wicking in the reo's. My coils last forever. That's why I still have those iClear30's. I always figured that was because I am vaping unflavored or either the Everclear I put in my menthol. Not sure. Guess I am o'l school. If it ain't broke don't fix it. I did not know that I was not content until I started reading all these threads when I got back on ECF from my sabbatical. They say ignorance is bliss. I think they were referring to me.

    Thank you for your response/recommendation.

A week or two ago I stated that I was done stocking up. Today I received a package from health cabin for something that I've been itching to get - a stack tube for a Timesvape Keen mod, along with a Tauren RDA and a bunch of drip tips. As I was switching atomizers around, I misplaced a Goon RDA. Looked all over for it. Hope it didn't fall into one of the large plastic totes I use. I'll have to take everything out and put it back. The Goon has to be near by. It'll turn up sooner or later.

Well, I guess I'm pushing the envelope, generally at 8.5 watts ;)

My "rule of thumb" has been that if the battery won't last a full tank (KF2L or Skyline, both about 4 - 4.5 mls, about 1.2 ohms), it's time for live as a flashlight source. That one will take a "full" charge doesn't really mean a lot if it's capacity has gone down. Yes, it will still go to full charge voltage, but will drop off a lot faster.
