Gotta add one more comment in the "wrong thread"...I've used JC Original, JC Red Oak and a "100%" VG in a clearo and haven;t really experienced any leaking problems other than some of the codensation that MrOutlaw mentioned elsewhere. JC liquids seem kind of "thin" to me especially the Original series. I am beginning to think that it is the luck of the draw how well they work. If, and that's a big word, you have to change your vaping "style" to use a clearo, tank or CE3, it just ain't worth it to me. Then again, I'm old and stubborn so what else do I expect. I just want reliable, dependable vapor and flavor, with hours of battery life all in a device the size of an original Lucky. While I'm at it, 40 years younger and a few million in the bank would be nice too and just as likely.

Lol. You probably don't have as much leaking or flooding because it's 100%vg. 100% pg would react much differently

I use JC Red Oak Tennessee Cured in a clearo and it's been my experience that I have to clean the clearo more often than with a PG/VG blend. Tennessee Cured is one of my favs, so I'll do what I have to do to use it. :vapor:

JC Original, to my knowledge, is 100% PG based. Their Red Oak has no PG in it, but I'm not sure what the ratio is, PG/water or other solvent. I can tell you that the Original is as thin as water, or even lacquer thinner, so if a clearo was going to leak it would be most likely to leak with Original. I have to admit I'm stymied since it has worked so well for me (no I don't have a halo, LOL).

I didn't see that part, just the part where you said 100%vg.

Pg itself is super thin, they don't usually mix water in. You are probably doing ok because you are not tilting too much. Consider yourself lucky. Wicking issues , whether its overwicking, or dry hits, is the number one problem with top coil that I read about and have experienced.

I meant to say VG/water or other solvent, me and typos, and I even "proofread that three times before I posted it, jeesh.

Imagine is gonna shoot us for this conversation in her thread, LOL.

Lol.

Generally, 100vg is diluted with Distilled water or PGA (pure grain alcohol). You will also see most of the smaller companies don't sell 100% vg unless is all natural flavoring because most of the flavorings are pg based.

I know what you mean about proof reading, I use my iPad and iPhone 99% of the time and the damn autocorrect always changes the words as i type. I read it so fast, I never notice the changes. People say I talk fast, but I read even faster. My mind works ahead of of my mouth.

I use a tablet (Android) sometimes but hate tap typing. I normally use a laptop or desktop, but even with them I seem to be prone to too many typos in my old age. Part of it is thinking faster than I type, part of it is "hunt and peck" typing and the rest is just being careless and in a rush.

I hope that you may re-read the conversation with new eyes and reply back in order to rectify the situation for you. One way or another I am confident that it will be settled to your satisfaction :)

I replied back 3 days ago and have still had no response. I was hoping that I would hear from Heather today. I don't think I've been a bad customer. I've spent $800 in 3 months. Introduced friends and family to SI and have gotten them vaping. I had one short wick clearo that was DOA and Tom replaced it. When I had one reach the end of its life I took it apart and was able to fix the bad one so I sent SI a check for the clearo along with the pin that was the problem. Just in case he ran into the same problem again.

I'm not a newbie when it comes to clearos. I have bought about 40 of them and keep 10 filled at all times. I bought 20 from a different company while waiting for SI to get the kinks out of their long wick clearo. I've never had a dry hit with a short wick clearo and I still hold the long wick version the same way. I don't overfill and I rotate between clearos all the time. I just don't like to Vape one flavor for very long.

When I got this email I had already responded to Heather's questions and was expecting a resolution. Not someone new jumping in the middle. The blue long wick clearo is working great. So I must be doing something right.

I have no interest in a CE3. I don't like them and they are ugly. I've tried the fluxomizer and the Phoenix. I just want a clearo capable of working on a manual battery from SI. It would be awesome if they brought back the short wicks.

But all of this is mute if I don't get a response from customer service.

no worries... if you give me the ticket number I can take a look to make sure this gets resolved for you.
Imagine,

I did write to CS again and apologized for my last email. No matter what happens I had no right to take my frustrations out on him.

Thanks for making me take another look at it.

It's #YWH-64628.

I received my order of 6 more clearos and have 3 of them filled and in use. They are all working great! Taste great, no dry hits, and I can use my manual X2s again!

Thank you!
Rebecca

Imagine, some of our new UK members are looking for something like the Volt to start vaping with.

Does SI ship to the UK? If so how much does it cost? If not, do you know where they can get something comparable (a GOOD set-up like the Volt, not the old "sucking a milkshake through a straw and getting no vapor" kind)?

I just recieved my x2 Volt 1300 mah manual silver pass through from you guys, but it doesn't have the 5 click off protection and the cut off time is around 8 seconds... I was under the impression the cut off time would be longer and it would have the 5 click protection... did I get an old model or something? I sent a customer service ticket on the site but I got to impatient so I'm posting on here :p
