No, no passthrough. Could we just charge them on the regular chargers?
What she said!!! I wouldn't care on the pass -thru part. If I recall & interpret Rave correctly - we are wanting a shorty for "odd" times vs frequent ... Did I get that right Rave????? For me it would be when I'm mowing mainly - maybe out on horseback ... LOL - not that vaping will do much for the bugs! Oh NO!

Hope I don't want to go back to tar-bacco because of bugs!
Take a look at "The Battery University". There's a ton and a half of information about lithium ion batteries including charge, discharge and load rates. I think one of the things that "saves" them in this case is that the discharge cycle is relatively short, as in a max of a few seconds and is also limited by the ASIC to prevent overheat damage. I suspect that vaping keeps them well within safe parameters and keeps them at a reasonable life cycle, otherwise SI and everyone else would go broke on guarantees. I can't say I've ever noticed a battery getting hot or warm from use, even if I furiously chain vape, just an observation and certainly not proof positive.
I've had a Clearomizer get rather warm - enough to make removing the cap difficult - slightly warped it ... never noticed the battery doing so ...
And I'm on the other side of the coin - I prefer autos cuz I didn't push a button on my cigarettes so it feels unnatural to do it now. I don't think the draw or warmth is any different, but maybe that's just me. I have 14 batteries and only 1 of them is manual, which I never use now but bought when I started out cuz everyone said I should.
Gawd, 14 batteries - I need help
No - you have: backups for the backups for the backups!

So, Who has more: You or Rave??? I HAD a lovely assortment amounting to one nice dozen - baker's dozen if I count the Mystic that I tried waiting for my first kit ... Um - caution - easy to loose them from pockets when mowing!
I have both auto & manual in the 78's - the 4 X2's are manual. I prefer the 78's in auto because I find my finger gets sore if I'm really vaping a lot using the manual. I also find I'm letting go and quickly pressing it again to 'get enough' from the vape. I don't feel I need to do this with the X2's. I've not tried an auto in the X2. It has a very nice feel to the button and happily - my lung capacity is no where near maxing the cutoff on these! I think it's worth trying both on the 65 or 78's. Then you'll know what feels best.
In general I actually prefer the size of the 650(?) mah. I frequently use the 900's tho. I have 2 of each size. 2 black/ 1 Purple/1 Green!
Oh - sorry - WELCOME! to the new people!
