I think the gold too, opal. Not the COPPER gold. Just the GOLD gold. But it's not chromey like the other two (otherwise I'd be all over that one). I think it's more gold-leafy.
ok.. thanks.. now I'm curious.. gold-leafy? hmmmm. My 78s from last October are starting to come to the end of their lives.. so It's about replacement time. I prefer the shiny.. hubby prefers the rubbery for grip.. gold leafy.. that might have to make the rotation. I have some gold-ish paint too.. so I can make delivery things match somewhat.. wonder if that paint will stick to a chrome carto.. hmmmm

Opal, if you want to paint a chrome or stainless carto, sand it lightly first with 600 grit wet or dry paper to scuff it up, then give it a coat of etching primer (automotive primer). That will allow a bond to the metal, which is too smooth for good adhesion of the paint, plus give a nice, smooth, finish.
I think you might have just talked me into a wrap instead.. that sounds like work with products I'd have to go find somewhere. hehe
It may sound like a lot of work, but it would only take a few minutes for each step, not including drying time for the paints, but would give you a real "custom" look.

Metallic gold vinyl is available all over the place. You can even use the same material for the batt and get a perfect match. I didn't get the gold batt because someone said it was kind of a persnickety color (too much green tint? Not enough? Don't remember the details now). And what I really wanted was chromey gold.
Sanding and priming is the only way to do it right, but lazy me wouldn't go through all that work for disposable cartos either.

I ordered a copper 1300 spinner but received gold instead. It had gold on the box. It does have a greenish tint to it but I liked it and decided to keep it. It seems more of an olive gold color. It's definitely not chromey gold. I just ordered a gold 78 hoping for true gold with the chromey finish. From looking at the picture it has a very shiny look to it. I really hope it is!

JoAnn, Mrs. Awsum just got a couple of gold 78mm batteries and they are gold colored, or at least look gold to me if that helps.

So I was having problems with the CE3, which I loved and a rep told me you guys have been having problems with them so I was just wondering if there was Amy updates on them? If the kinks were worked out... Thanks!
The life of a T3 head, or any wick/atomizer assembly for that matter, will depend on how fast it gunks up, IE accumulates black carbon based residue that insulates the coil eventually to the point where vapor output is very low or stops altogether. Sweeter liquids, fruit, candy and confection flavors all tend to produce the most gunk since the sugars in them contains lots of carbon molecules.
Rinsing them when refilling will help extend their life a little, but that gunk is kind of like concrete. You can also "dry burn" them, carefully, to remove most of the gunk and replace the flavor wicks, loose wicks, to extend their life quite a bit.
Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it. Your results and mileage may vary. No warranty or guarantee is expressed or implied. Proceed at your own risk.
