To my opinion, all atomizers produce same smoke. They are all based on nichrome or kanthal around a wick or a mesh. The differences are very small, maybe zero. The point on constructions based on the options and features.

The last 7 days I managed to test several atomizers in the market and I didnt see any real differences between them. So what we concern are:

Easy of use
Easy of making coils
leakage
gurgling
external look
ability to control it to avoid burn taste or inhale the way you dont like it (control air, liquid etc)
ability to use any kind of wick or wire, doubled or not and in any dimentions (width-length)
fitting in all mods
ability to make contact every time with all mods
ability to see the level of the liquid
support by the maker

I hope that I didnt forget something

The above features give the ability for the perfect smoke

I really hope that GG series has covered all the above and more. Maybe we need a mesh option on Ithaka but it works with mesh either. Maybe a different method would be even better

The ability to see the liquid level is a nice feature but I don't see it as necessary, especially with 4 ml or more capacity. I think it might also be just as important to have a solid SS tank option as there appears to be several juices/flavors that dont like plastic. I have yet to vape a juice that cracks my windows but I'm not heavy on citrus or those types of flavors. But I believe many people are from what I see around the forum.
The only issue I see with closed tank systems that has not been addressed yet is the flooding caused by high ambient temperatures. It seems to me that a one way pressure relief valve would take care of this...maybe? I can't leave my Penelope or Ody in my vehicle on a hot Texas summer day without it flooding.
So that's my input Imeo...any ideas?

Imeo we all admire you for your innovative ideas and ability to think outside the box. I personally would like to see you make a redesigned Genesis type with a "twist", not another run of the mill Genesis but one that deserves to have the GG logo on it.
I'm sure that if you take a close look at the genesis, which frankly is appealing to many vaper's and redesign it to solve many of it's inherent problems you'll have captured most of the market.
Experienced vaper's are currently divided between those who enjoy the silica wick and coil re-buildables and the Genesis mesh crowd. Personally I really like both although I hate the fact that Genesis atties are plagued by leaks making them mostly a home vape as opposed to a "take anywhere" type like the Ody or Penny.
I just think that a GGenesis with the same base like the Ithaka (510 & GGTS base) which doesn't leak will be heavily sought after by many.

Imagine what all the Genesis modders would think if suddenly Imeo decided to make a Genesis and solves all the problems they couldn't in his first ever Genesis. I'd like to see that hahahahaaa

Just something for you to think about. :)

I am sure that you leave the mouthpiece open river. If you close it and leave Ody-Penelope inside car then you will not have any flooding. Am I right?:)

thats exactly what I am working on now Steve. A genesis adapter for Ithaka that will not leak and it will not have wicking problems. I am not far from it as I see it

No my friend, I do close the mouthpiece. I think part of the problem is that I vape 80/20 pg/vg, thin juice so the seal on the closed mouthpiece is still not tight enough. I tried putting an oring there but then I taste the oring. It's not a huge problem and just try to keep them as cool as I can when I leave them in my vehicle.

I see river. I thought that it couldnt be done. Juice has to be real thin to escape in big quantity through the mouthpiece. What I believe is that hot air inside penelope gets bigger and put pressure to the liquid, so it gets inside ceramic.

I am too not a genesis at all river. The other day I bought a genesis atomizer. After 10 tries and no result I stop trying. At first tries the negative wire was always cut. In the next tries I had shorts. At the last tries I had burn taste. And every time I was oxidising again the wick and again oxidised and again and again.
I am sure that others have more success but I just dont like complex things.
I'm not a genesis fan but If you solve it's common problems Imeo, you will have a flock of new customers....and copiers lol

Yes that's exactly what is happening. That's why I mentioned a pressure relief valve in my earlier post. Maybe this is not a common issue though. It seems that a lot of folks vape %100 vg. I have tried higher vg juice but it feels like I'm vaping air as I don't get any throat hit...and I NEED throat hit to be satisfied. Maybe I need to try higher vg with more extreme coils and or voltage. Most of the time I use my GGTS' with a kick set at the highest wattage and that's usually still not enough, even with 80/20 pg/vg. PG is a factor in throat hit isn't it?

the idea of an additional module genesis for ithaka is certainly interesting, although i agree completely with imeo about doubt if the use of mesh oxidized are tools safe and clean for vaporizing.
as an alternative to these systems there are ceramics such as those of the atom ava that have anyway a cleaning and impeccable taste. the use of ceramic seems innovative, i trust, however, in the mind of the brilliant imeo for what it deems appropriate to pull out of the hat, i still hope that any revolutionary system gonna be compatible with my small army of golden greek atomizer

Sounds just like my experience. If you are somehow able to improve these issues, I will of course try it again but not until then.

i think pg works like this river. As for the valve, its not a bad thought but it requires a lot of work to be made. Its not a common issue as you said so maybe we dont have a reason to make a product expensive for something that will be useful once a year maybe. Thats only my opinion of course:)

If I can eliminate those mesh problems I will make a mesh style adapter for Ithaka kin. If not, I will not make a mesh style for sure. As for the ceramic style atomizers, I had the idea one year ago and I show what I was trying to do on vaportrails tv. Then ava came to the market using this style of wick. But are we sure that ava uses ceramic insread of wick?

Well it's also a very good point. I know you have to measure cost effectiveness when developing a product so if it is not a common issue then it would not make sense to implement in the design.

I have an easy solution. I will just keep a small lunchbox cooler in my vehicle to store my GGs when I leave them. This should help.
