Bought a V4 clone online yesterday, sick of waiting for my FT version. When it arrived there was a part missing (steel piece in the delrin below the spring) did a 60 mile round trip to the bricks and mortar where it came from to get a replacement.
I was told it was Tobeco but it"s in clone packaging so I have my doubts.
Whoever made this clone, there"s no leaks or oil smell - goes together perfectly.
I was never a fan of the previous versions of the kayfun but this thing seriously rocks. I actually prefer the vape quality of this Atty over my Rose V2 - and I love the Rose.

I had to come back to publicly eat humble pie. Dwcraig1 seemed confident and while my prior fix worked I had to see for myself. I broke oring #7 since even after sanding to the point it was transparent it still seized everything up and it snapped in there some how. I did have a clear plastic sheet from an old folder that I cut to size and put in place that luckily was the exact size needed. Without my shim method it can be tightened all the way down with everything held firm while still allowing the.juice control to spin freely. I hope no one else's requires #7 to be paper thin to work. It is a proper fix while my suggestion is more of a work around. Thanks Dwcraig1 for making me second guess my first attempt at sanding and giving it another shot.

Glad to hear you like yours! Could it be an EHPro clone perhaps? I'm curious to try the EHPro.

So all I have to do would be sand down the #7 to the correct size and nothing else? Also, what is this "shim" I keep seeing mentioned?

The Tobeco box looks like this:

To back track a bit, I added a 9 thousands of an inch shim to the square ( about the thickness of two business cards, cheap one's) and took about 2 thousands on an inch off #7 ( about 1/4 of it). Try using pieces of business cards even just to "test" the size needed. Add one, try it, add a 2nd one, try it add a 3rd ect.
Then when you see how thick of a shim is needed make one out of metal.

I tried just sanding #7 down. I got it to the point where I was concerned it was getting too thin and I was going to break it. So i used some foil (made the hole with a hole puncher) and used that to raise the #3 well. The foil is what people are referring to when they say "shim". Other people have used other things to raise that up a bit. Hope that helps.

Regular heavy duty foil is about 5 mil. The really thick stuff labeled for BBQ is about 9 ml
A good place to get metal shim stock is a big Ace hardware or hobby shop with a K & S display (it will have various metals with various thicknesses in small packs)

Ok, yikes, after 4 thorough soaks and scrubs, I taste machine oil this morning. I spent hours cleaning the snot out of this yesterday. Do you think boiling in water and vinegar will do it? I did it twice in alcohol and twice in Dawn yesterday. I assume I need to remove all the o rings to boil.
I tore apart covered in dawn poured semi boiling water over it let soak and stirred every so often. Rinsed then soaked in white vinegar. All good also I left all o rings on and only separated deck from base. I didn't completely disassemble. I washed in dove one more time for good measures.

I bought this one, everything seems good, apart from the air control screw doesn't seem to have any effect at all? I was thinking perhaps o-ring #16 was too small? I switched it with a spare, destroying the one that was on, and now I don't dare removing that to try a bigger o-ring :p

Hopefully the o-ring is too small and not the groove for it cut too deep as I have two of them coming in the next couple of days. I do have two authentic o-ring kits if it's simply the o-ring.

Well, just reassemble and built the second Tobeco...and the same thing as the first. The juice control will NOT turn with the 510 tightened. And with the 510 loosened, resistance jumps erratically. But if you loosen the 510 adjust the JC and re tighten the 510, they both vape very nicely. Might need to keep a freakin' tool handy after all.

Sounds like the Tobeco also needs a shim placed in the square hole between 3 and 8, at least that's how I'm leaning from what I'm reading.

Has anyone that ordered from Artemus heard from them yet? They were supposed to be available yesterday, but considering you don't even have an account there to shop, how do we know they've even started processing or shipped the orders?

I ordered one from them last week and haven't heard from them. They're supposedly a reputable place in GA so I'm not too worried.

I ordered the same one. I had the same issue with the air control screw. There's some flash inside the hole. You can take the screw out and clean out the hole or screw it in until it closes. For the #16 o-ring, you can add dental floss or cotton thread before the o-ring and it should fix it. Mine's been leak free since. I use a pick to get the o-rings out and it doesn't damage them.

I'll let you know if that's the case with my black Tobeco version.
