Attack of the (Kayfun v4) Clones!

Has anyone that ordered from Artemus heard from them yet? They were supposed to be available yesterday, but considering you don't even have an account there to shop, how do we know they've even started processing or shipped the orders?

I have received my tracking number but it is still in pre-shipment status according to to stamps.com. I assume that means the label has been created but not actually shipped yet.

I would think they sold a lot through preorder with the coupon codes and being in the US.

I got my FT B version today. The number 16 o-ring needed a couple wraps of dental floss to keep it from leaking but seems to be working well now. Will be interesting to see if it leaks over night. If it does I will try another wrap of dental floss.

So I found my chimney piece in the trash lol, and I actually replaced #7 with a drip tip o ring and it seems to be working fine now

I didn't measure it but the tolerances on the FT version is fairly loose so that might be more the issue than the o-ring being too small.

O-ring that's just a hair tighter fitting than 11 x 1.5 mm is going to be SAE 9/16" x 7/16" x 1/16", it's cross section is just slightly thicker.

It's just an after thought now as I no longer have my Amod clone from Codevape in my possession, my friend has it. Now after thinking on it a bit I wish that when I compared thickness' of ring #7 between the clone's and a the authentic that I would have tried the authentic one on the clone. Perhaps when I get it back for service I will do just that.,

Not sure of the size as yet but this is where I buy my o-rings, it looks like I may buy some of these also once I determine the size. (I'm at work, can't measure it)

Black O rings - seal on the box is different from all the other's I seen.

That's without a shim. But for some reason the machine oil taste came back I don't get how that happened.

My FT KF4 has finally landed in Houston. I might get it today with any luck (probably tomorrow though). Looks like I'll need to start reading through this thread again to see how much work I'm going to have to do to get it working properly.

My "no logo" Tobeco clone is scheduled to be delivered today. With all the comments about the different versions I'm a little lost. Is there anything I should be aware of?

EDIT: It actually just arrived. It seems pretty good, the juice control threading is a little crunchy, it probably just needs to be cleaned because the whole thing literally reeks of machine oil.

Same here,black o ring and it came with some o rings spare, a blue screwdriver and two precoiled wicks.

.

It does leak and I fixed it by changing #16 o ring to a thicker one. It came wobbly and I fixed it by tightening #9 and now it vapes great. Been having it since Monday and I am very happy with it.
