Just to clarify this it is not that ring #7 is too thick, the problem lies with the square protrusion that butts into the square hole of #3. the protrusion is machined too short (could be the square hole in #3 is machined too deep or both) It just so happen that clearance can be gained by reducing the thickness of #7 which while it works isn't the best option.

Which clone is this with this issue?

Other than my screwing up the JC (I think), my ft red o ring seems to be working correctly. Its very quiet! I can't believe I broke this down to every part and reassembled without looking at the parts diagram, but the JC cofuses me

Got the FT clone. Man this thing is complicated! Washed it in hot water/dish soap after letting it soak for 10 min. Put a quick build in, went to set the airflow and when I was sucking in air all I got was machine oil, so I ripped everything out again and it's been soaking in rubbing alcohol for the past 10 min. Hopefully the machine oil will be less noticeable this time.

For those that feel you need a bit thicker #16 o-ring, as I posted yesterday SAE 7'16" ID x 1/16" CS is just a bit tighter. I bought some at Home Depot and tried on my authentic but it was just the bit to thick on the cross section. If the clone requires something a bit thicker this is probably it. I also tried 3/8" ID x 1/16 CS and it had about the same fit as the 11 x 1.5 mm but ever so slightly tighter so it my be an option as well, definitely can replace the 11x1.5 when that size fits correctly.

Oh ok. I guess I'll give putting a shim in there a try. That's if I can get it apart again, which is seeming quite impossible :(

I'm thinking of getting one of these Kayfun v4 clones. So Tobecco makes the best one? Can anyone who has used both the Lemo and the Kayfun 4 tell me which one is better? Is there a nano kit for the Kayfun or is it smaller/same size as the original KFL?

I have both... with that being said there are no issues with the lemo but i for now do prefer my tobeco kayfun4

Overall size is about the same as the KFL+.

In all honesty there are alot of great rta's out there right now. The vapes are very close to the same. So now it comes down to looks and the small differences.

Oh and of course I have to have the newest shiny products anyways....

I agree 100%. The edge the Squape has is the super easy build and the easily adjustable airflow. The k4 is growing on me though. The ease of filling it is a definite plus.

I have built 100's of coils most of them worked perfect but every once in a while it does not. My first build on kayfun4 I built with legs over the top. It gave a burnt taste. Put the coil legs on the bottom no issues. For me more is better. I don't have issues when I use more cotton only when I don't use enough.

Running a 1.4 ohm coil 5 wraps of 30 kanthal vaping it at 20 watts without a dry hit

The only thing that slightly turns me off from the Kayfun 4 is how many pieces there are when you disassemble the entire thing. I have 3 older Kayfuns, but the new one is a bit intimidating. However, I do like that you don't have to drain the liquid to work on the deck. As for the Lemo, I guess its pretty similar to the older Kayfuns but people say it has much better flavor? My only concern is how airy the draw may be, as I prefer a tighter draw and like to take mouth to lung hits.

I'm not sure how this KF4 is working out for me. Taste wise I'm still only getting machine oil so I'll have to boil it in vinegar or something tomorrow.

However, the juice control doesn't really work when the 510 pin is tightened. If I loosen the pin the JC rotates, but how much it rotates depends on how much I loosen the pin...

Spend the 35 and get an ultrasonic cleaner. Dilute some simply green and you'll never have you worry about machine oil again.

Has anyone that ordered from Artemus heard from them yet? They were supposed to be available yesterday, but considering you don't even have an account there to shop, how do we know they've even started processing or shipped the orders?

I sent a ticket in a few days back which pretty much seems to have been ignored. Same with a friend of mine. Kinda left regretting that i didn't stick with my usual stance of only ordering from vendors with item in hand. For extra $2-3 i'd probably be waking up tomorrow morning with one waiting in my mailbox.

Given the lack of information, I wouldn't recommend ordering from there until there is some confirmation items are being shipped.
