Just to clarify this it is not that ring #7 is too thick, the problem lies with the square protrusion that butts into the square hole of #3. the protrusion is machined too short (could be the square hole in #3 is machined too deep or both) It just so happen that clearance can be gained by reducing the thickness of #7 which while it works isn't the best option.
Which clone is this with this issue?
Other than my screwing up the JC (I think), my ft red o ring seems to be working correctly. Its very quiet! I can't believe I broke this down to every part and reassembled without looking at the parts diagram, but the JC cofuses me
