I have only used one of my two Tobeco kayfun V4's so far. I did clean the second one, so it is ready to go. Have gone through 4 tank fills with zero problems. Ordered a third one yesterday. Soon as I vape my two kayfun 3.1's empty, I plan on cleaning them up and putting them in safe storage for awhile.

Was it any one o-ring in particular? I will probably buy replacement o-rings, but just to see if i can make any temporary fix before I would get a shipment in.

The Buna-N 70 work real good and if I had to point you at one it would be number 16 and number 18. Sixteen is on the bottom half of your atomizer deck and creates the seal, you should feel some resistance when you are lowering your deck. eighteen should also have some resistance and if it doesn't those two combined give you a bad seal. A couple wraps of dental floss will build them up but it is a short term fix.

number 16 is a 1.5mm X 11mm and is $0.12 and number 18 is a 1.5mm X 10mm at the same price.

Try to get them a 10th mm thicker... 1.6mm because most of the cloners failed on part #17 making the ring where the o-ring should fit in, too deep. Especially on the rounded corners a 1.5mm o-ring will not be enough.

I found 1/16 cs rings of comparable ID (7/16' x 1/16") too be to thick in the area between the corners to "make" it in.
1.6 mm = .0630, 1/16" = .0625
I feel it's better to go to larger ID but stay 1.5 cs up to the point where it either is to big to let the parts go together or is slack on the groove it fits in.
An 11 x 1.5 has to be stretched pretty far to fit on so it becomes thinner, (Just my :2c:)

My 2 Ft type A clones that came with 10 x 1.5 mm o-rings (16) on part #17 leaked so I changed them to 11 x 1.5 mm and still leak some. Even used Teflon tape under it and still leaked after awhile.

I changed them to 12 x 1.5 mm about 36 hours ago and neither one has leaked at all.

Not if it doesn't leak. It didn't leak on the 3.1 or the lite.

You'll know shortly :)

Oh yeah, the unit is leaking, but I'm thinking it's due to #16 o-ring. However, also thought perhaps by removing that tiny air control screw was causing increased leakage out the other o-rings as well. My Kayfun 3.1 and Lite were fine when I removed them, too.

It's very difficult to say, because the whole thing is a mess.

Nickel (ni200) build has been used for 2 weeks. Just opened for wick change.

It won't cause it to leak but depending on where it leaking it may simply "let" it leak faster.
But I doubt it would have much affect either way.

Had my first issue, but it wasn't the kayfuns fault. Trimmed the wick tails a little too long and was getting some dry hits. Rewicked with shorter tails and it is working fine now. Just a heads up for anyone that might experience the same issue. I think I stuffed so much down that it blocked the juice holes.

Jimminy Jillickers I was gone for 2 weeks and you guys added almost 100 pages worth of stuff!

From my end on the CodeVape version, boiling water and then dumping the largely broken down components into said water cleaned the SOB out very well. The threading on it tore my fingers to hell and gone (granted I have soft fingertips).

Taking the AFC screw out of the sucker does not cause any problems for me. I am running MBV Extreme Ice at 80% VG in one and once the drying is done I will be running..... Epiclouds max VG (not sure which flavor I will choose) in the other.

In one of the tanks, the air flow post/tube (#14) did not have burrs in it so much as it had full on shards. Fortunately they were thin and I was able to push them up and then break them off with either pliers or tweezers (I forget which). The other tank did not have any problem like this.

So far I have been running the one with Extreme Ice at around 27 watts with a 1.35 Ohm build on my VaporShark rDNA40. I think it is 8 wraps at 2.4mm of 26 gauge, but I may be wrong.

Ya but it tastes so good!

I reassembled mine but it's still leaking so I attributed the fast ejuice usage to this, but even just filling and vaping it seemed like juice was going much faster than a kfl+. I wasnt expecting the v4 to smoke the previous version, it was the top filling, adj 510, no whistle etc that sold me.
Most reviews said taste was improved a bit and I agree but it's so close it feels subjective so it can go either way, but let's say for sake of argument the v4 is 10% better in taste.

If it's a bit better but goes through juice twice as fast that's disappointing.

Have others found the v4 noticeably uses more juice than their k3.1/lite?

I have both the Kayfun Light Plus and the 3.1. Really like them alot.

Therefore, I thought the Kayfun V4 would even be a step above. Yeah, the flavor is better and yes it goes through more juice.

However, the main reason why it's going through more juice is because it's running down my Mod and onto my finger tips.

Other than that, all is well.
