Still using a number of KFV4s some Svoe and some Tobeco. Oddly (or not) I like the Tobeco's better ... the threading on the juice control ring is so much smoother. The Svoe's even after months and months of use are still so tight I have to remove the atty and hold the ring w/ a rubber jar opener thingie to close it for fill ups.

(3) kayfun Lite-Plus V2s and a Lemo 2

Threw my $20 Tobeco Kayfun V4 clone in the trash ... good riddance! It never leaked externally and never completely flooded .... I just could never get this clone to stop gurgling no matter how it was wicked. Replaced all the O-rings too, but no help.

Something strange must have been wrong with it. I have 3 but only used 2 for over a year now. I just like to try other RTA's to see if anything works better. Fun Hobby

Wow ... like Ricks, I've been using a few of the Tobeco's trouble free for a long time. Did you also try different adjustments for the air flow?

Tried airflow adjustments from fully open, to a very tight draw. Juice used was always 40% PG / 60% VG.

Well, it's not with us anymore, so for me ... now it's just water under the bridge

On the other had, all 3 of my Kayfun Lite-Plus V2 clones from EHPro with the dual airflow screws have worked flawlessly ... much better than the authentic ($110) Kayfun Lite-Plus V2 I used to have.

    Somewhere between here and there
I was on the verge of throwing my kf4's away until I tried the dental floss trick under the 16 oring. Three out of four that I got gurgled and/or leaked. They were all tobeco. The dental floss trick makes them work pretty well now.

Just learned and did my first build on a Tobeco v4 - with some help at local shop!

The Vape with that on my P3 is absolutely delicious - best Vape so far...flavor & throat hit just awesome!

However, occasionally get dry/weird-flavored hits...is that a wicking problem? Tank isn't empty. I try opening the juice control, put it down, try it again later and it's good for a few hits then same problem.

Try making the draw a little tighter. Tighten the air control screw.

Sounds like you might be vaping w/ the control ring not in the fully open position. Think of that ring as an on/off control not a flow control. Turn it fully closed when filling and fully open when vaping.

I bought an Infinite KF4 about 6 months ago. I really like Kayfuns but could never get a good vape from the Infinite even though it got good reviews. It has been sitting in my bucket for a long time now. I recently bought a Tube RTA from FT for $11. It was supposed to hold 3.5ml but really only holds 2ml. Problem is that it vapes really really well. The base is good for MTL to DTL. Lots of vapor and good flavor. There are all kinds of people buying this and modding it to get more volume. I took the top portion of the KF4 and mated it to the base from the Tube and it is working great. I get minor leakage when top filling it as there is no juice control. If you are fed up with your KF4, you should give this a try.

$11.03 Tube Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 3.5ml / stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

EDIT: Just after posting this, I started getting leaking. Went thru about 4 tanks with no issues and now I can't get the leaking to stop. Not major but too much. Don't want anyone to try this if it is not working well.

    Grats on the 9 years.

I've gotta say if your KF4 isn't keeping up your just not wicking it properly. My latest build in the blue Tobeco I added to the rest of my KF4s is a 3.5mm .7 ohm Clapton, got the Tobeco 4S kit installed, it will wick up to 45 watts with that build, and surprisingly is not all that far behind my Wotofo Serpent.

Didn't think I'd like the Blue color, but its actually pretty decent.

Guys, I'm not using my Tobacco K4 because of the gurgling issue (that appear I'm the only one having it :D). I'd tried everything : s-wicking, normal wicking, Different coil diameter, Different Gauge, Different airflow settings, etc. Everything I could! The only way that makes my kayfun not gurgling, is to remove the airflow screw, wich for a mouth to lunger like me makes the K4 to airy.

There anything that I could try?

I already did, a time ago, here they are:
    Here they are:

The red one is the tobeco clone, the other one is from ehpro. Both build have cotton enough cover the base, they are always full of liquid. If I open them, take out the airflow screw and clean the center pin the gurgle disappear.. I did that yesterday, and after a full day (now) they both are gurgling..

I already tried cut the cotton in every possible ways. In fact, I already tried so many ways that I'm starting to think that is my unit that is faulty. When I posted that pics, there were some users that said that the K4 would gurgle if the AFC is very tight, but mines only don't gurgle when I remove the screw.
