I'm still notsure what I was supposed to get from that video all in another language except when he said kayfun, OK and I think I got one other word. Was it the way he lubed his Orings which I have never seen done like that. I have always just used VG and a long Qtip. Oh and I don't speak whatever language that was it did look like he had been painting all day.

Okay.

Reporting back.

First pass through the range of juices I bought fromm HHV, and this is the first time (ordering juice from a new-to-me company) I can say that not a single one was a miss.

Wow. Good stuff. All of them.

That's spooky.

I would say Legend is one of the best baccy vapes I've ever had, but the truth is all of the baccy vapes I have here from HHV fall into that catagory. Really excellent.

And the fruits were all uniformly excellent as well.

That's got to be some sort of record, or astronomical event, or something.

Amazing and they can only get even better with a little age on them.

Thanks for the recommendations people.

Really amazed.

We need to do a drive-by on the FDA.

This stuff cannot be allowed to die.

What I was going to ask was I love my STM's with them on the wide open part which is still a slightly restricted lung hit but that's what I like. I should be able to get that with these.

Yeah their stuff is excellent before I started DIYing that is all I bought, and I loved the CS if you want a special nic level or all PG or whatever they used to do it for you. Like I wanted 2mg nic no problem. Did you try the Blueberry Muffin, tastes just like a fresh BB Muffin it's amazing, a coil gunker but excellent.

Since I started DIYing the most expensive thing is the flavoring. It's Russian and I get it from a guy in Germany. It's cheaper from him then VZ even with the shipping. Trying to get it from the manufacturer is really cheap like 90 cents for 10ml but it's about a 50/50 chance of every recieving it and no recourse if you don't. VZ sells it for $7.99 for 10ml. Germany it is between 3.30 and 4 Euro but you only need like 2% of lots of them. Oh and if you do get it it takes about 2-3 months.

Glad you're enjoying them JW. I'm sure there will be a few that rise to the top and you'll stock up on those once you become more familiar with them. At minimum, it is safe to say HHVs flavors are not offensive so it allows you to vape them awhile to get a good reading. As we know, some vendors use offensive base notes in their flavors. Not sure if it comes from their PG/VG or what but they all have the same base note that tastes like perfume, flowers, or bug spray. Can't vape any of them. Not true with HHV flavors. Their advertised flavor tastes like what is described (those that can be described).

Oh, and if you get a chance, drop by the Big Thread and let us know which flavors are working for you. Just hop in at the end and say howdy.

This KF which I should have in my hands by Friday at the latest would have been nice if they had included a threaded top SS piece and the ability to add another piece and a smaller piece of glass so you would still be able to see your juice ports and juice but less chance of breakage. I'm sure the glass parts are not going to be cheap and I hate the looks of the SS tank.

So whats the verdict on leaking?
Ive had some leaking too from K5. Not a huge amount, but leaking nonetheless. Which isn't a satisfactory thing in my opinion. Back on my trustworthy k4, which has never leaked or oozed a SINGLE drop since the day it arrived. Best tank I own. Hugely unimpressed with the K5.

@2legsshrt. So far so good having taken apart, cleaned, re-lubed, and tightened that hex. I haven't given it a good workout yet but will report back later tonight.

@MKBarca I agree. I still rock the 4 daily and find myself making excuses for the 5.
Yes, I make excuses for it too. Nowhere near as good looking as the K4. Doesn't feel as solid either. The 4 is just everything I need from a tank.

Based on my leaking experiences, it was totally my fault. Seems the K5 is quite susceptible to leaking when overfilled. A buddy of mine suggested that I not fill past the top of the grating (that inner metal plate with the round holes in it). Took his advice, and low and behold, a leak free K5 for the last couple of weeks.
Gonna try my luck with it on an airplane this coming Monday (as in shut down the juice flow completely, and leave it in my carry on, and see if it leaks). I'll make sure and report back.

I would never have occurred to me to fill all the way up to the top grill- maybe 'cause I'm a former KFL guy, and one never fills those all the way up- they need some breathing room.

I got spoiled with KF4 and SQuape. With either of those atties, I could fill them allllll the way up without issue, and didn't use much else (aside from the occasional dripper).

I never gave K5 a second thought otherwise, and topped it off right from the start. After a week and a half of randomly dumping a tank full in my pocket/in my car/on my desk, I was ready to call K5 a fail. Fortunately, I was graciously told of my dumbassery :D
