Fixing kayfun 5 airy draw my way..

IMG_5849_zpso1zlfcxt.jpg

Remember those three little metal? It's from a lagendary tank Vivi Nova.

IMG_5850_zpseglsqwlg.jpg

I pick the one on the right. The inner diameter is 2mm. But the outer diameter is over 3mm which will not fit into the Kayfun 5 air channel.

I then take my vise. Use a nail to hold and secure it in place.

IMG_5852_zps2sqth3pj.jpg

Start filing and inspect if it fit the air channel. If not, keep filing.. Once perfect..

Fixing Kayfun 5 airy draw my way.. From stock 3mm to 2mm.. I'm more than happy now!
Nice. Very nice :)

Looking forward to your review Qorax!
I am perturbed myself. All clips have been shot and ready since three weeks now ~ but I am just not getting time to edit and compose the video. Every weekend something or the other comes up. And even tomorrow I have to go for work. I guess my K5 review is thoroughly and royally jinxed :(

Wow! I didn't know we have a celebrity lerking amongst us mortals. Good content with the earlier reviews qorax.

Anybody notice that the V5 in TC mode on the SX Q class requires a significantly more amount of power. With a 6 wrap 3mm 26awg spaced SS316L coil .45 ohms requires 37.5J to reach 420F. But it is a really good vape, I like the air so won't have to worry about the fix.

Oh and I took mine apart when I got it and lubed the 3 Orings on the head before I used it I did check the hex nut to see if it was tight but didn't try to remove it put it all back together have vaped 5 tanks and no leaks what so ever. It does kind of drink the juice though. It seems to wick perfectly for me with 2 full turns of the AF.

I am just a simpleton my friend. A serious vaper tho ~ someone who deeply believes in this phenomenon ~ and takes it as a cure. A therapeutic alternative to the evils of smoking!

I wish I could brother. But I am an artist by nature ~ and strive to make the content as interesting as possible. Even tho I have a linguistic barrier ~ I yet would like the video to be a wholesome enjoyment to watch by one and all.

The first Q vid I watched I admit I struggled to weed through your accent. After that first one it was easy. I remember speaking to David (Dusty) on the phone and it was a bit hard too. But then I talked to him on the phone again not long ago and I didn't stumble on a single word he said. Understood everything he said with no effort.

The content is always interesting, and I've not yet had any difficulty understanding even one word. I look forward to this newest one!

I will also say I remember Q's first video and, while it was better than I could ever dream of doing, it was raw (understandably). The vids Q does now are polished and complete. The KM3 vid was one of his best and I think it was because of how he set it up going into the history of Svoemesto products and connecting the KM3 to both the previous mini model and the K4. Quite truthfully, there wasn't any other KM3 video that had content in it that Q didn't have in his. And while it was a fairly long video it got to the point and was much shorter than if Phil had done it.

I have two K5, the GF is using one, and they both have condensation on the bottom after a day or two of use. I wouldn't call it leaking, but it does get a little wet down there. I think it has something to do with temp change, like going in and out of the office, hot and cold... but no way to test that theory.

I still use the K3 most of the day and that tank stays dry!

Er...no. All kayfun tanks suffer from condensation when using lower ohm builds. Anything under 1.2 ohms and there is enough condensation to feel like a leak. Only way to avoid it is either to clean it off everyday. Which is plain time consuming. Alternatively, use the tank sparingly. I see all these reviews and comments. It obvious from the tank dimensions that there will be condensation, it's how the tanks get the flavour. Go to any decent subtank and you will see very little condensation due to better designed chambers and better overall airflow. The proof is the tanks themselves. Vape on a 0.5 ohm bud in a v4 or v5 for a few days and say a tank like the supreme 7ml. Take them apart and see with your own eyes. I don't mind condensation based leaks for 1 day tanks like kayfun tanks but if I am busy then it's either an RDA if at home or a subtank with juice control.

Kind Sir, please take your time. I don't want a video rushed to market as the atty itself was... Sorry I'm a little bitter as I'm out $109 and can't even give them more $ as no MTL kits are available stateside. During these rough times I have discovered squonking so it's all good.

Every RTA will have condensation, not just the K5, when used under super sub-Ohm conditions. Especially when built with thicker gauge wires (viz. under 28 AWG). These configs make them hot. Real hot, not warm. And those wires stay hot for some time even after we've stopped firing the button. Their ramp-up time and die-down time is longer than thinner wires.

And imo, both these conditions (thicker wires and super low Ohms) aren't affable to flavor. Especially thru a RTA. Which is why I've come to realize that 28 AWG and nothing under 0.7-0.8 Ohms is the best build on single coil designed RTAs.
