I'd like to have one, but it'll be a while to save up even that much $$.

At one time I had all the KF models until I lost the KFL+ while it was attached to a Provari mini. That was an expensive mistake - it slipped out of my holster while riding in a taxi. Now all my holsters have a flap over the top - not that I use them much any more. I usually just carry the mod around and if driving, place them in the compartment between the seats.

I can see where it might look like that, but to my eyes it is not the same control.

The airflow ring slides up over the tank, spins, and slides back down into position for the desired airflow.

The tank itself spins, just like the Kayfun Mini v3, in order to control the juice flow.
Yep. Not the same control, but AFC is dependant on the juice control... (@16 min)

I've owned 3 kayfun v4. Got excited over this tank until saw the info. Not buying the Squape dream and kayfun v5. No velocity deck or something hing better. No dual easy setup. Low ml capacity. Steame crave supreme, billow3 , etc are a lot better in my opinion. There are better tanks offering more for cheaper. Also small decks are so 2014. Get with times. Hugely disappointed honestly.

At least this time they are on the right track by reducing the price over the V 4. There are more vapers around now so quantity production cost is lower. Others should learn from this. They price the KM3 right too. I bought the KM3 and am buying this. We should all stay away from ridiculously high price products from greedy modders. I have paid my share of $. Over the last few years.

This is turning into an expensive month.
You can say that again..... ...$650 for the car and now who knows how much for an extended stay "Heartbreak Hotel"

Fortunately, most of the hospital bill is covered by her disability insurance. So, let's see how long it's gonna take to save up for that KF v5.

Not everyone likes dual coils you know, I am one of them who doesn't, the kayfun has always been a single coil setup, and would lose more customers if changed to a dual coil setup than gain from doing it. They have got with the times, with top fill and juice control, kayfuns have always been easy to build on and looks like they have improved on this version even more.

and I would be hugely disappointed to see Kayfun using the same velocity deck as in every other RTA/RDA on the market today. It's great to have choices, especially when it comes to original engineering.

Choices? Officially kayfun 5 is made for 0.5 ohms and higher. Check the manual. Have question of the quality of the peek being used if it's 0.5+. RDTA, supreme, even something the clieto does 0.4 yet a £100 tank is limited from the start. I've used v4's and while tank is simpler, it's still missing basic stuff. Should be able to do 0.2 ohms easily. Tanks half the price can. Good luck to the v5 crowd. I'll stick things like the avocado 24mm with a notch coil. The price should not justify the product like the v5. The product should simply that good to demand more. It's not. This is not the only tank like this. Squape dream is in the same boat. Over priced and missing steps.
