Very impressed with the performance. On top of the mountain thin air. No leaking at all.

Sorry , I was fasting today :)) Just break my fast. Now comparing KF 5 (1.6mm) vs KF 3 with the same build and same E liquid. The KF3 is a little bit better. I think the main difference is the size and the air hole below the coil. I am enjoying now my 10w MTL in a kayfun 5, much better. Although, I think they should have made a 2mm option as well.

Like Mada, I did almost the same thing.. Had Jade Tiger (24mg) on my kayfun 5 vs the Russian 3.0, between the two are almost identical in terms of airflow and taste (maybe because of the juice and taste buds a little muted).

But on another level, I dare say the design of the kayfun is less complicated and a pleasure to use. It had no leaks unlike the Russian 3.0 when refilling it, it tends to leak near the juice flow control ring.

On the Russian I realised that after leaving the juice and refilling the juice will change colours due to the charred cotton sitting on the deck circulates into the juice turning it darker. Whereas the kayfun does not have that issue of juice turning into a darker shade.

Will share some more of my finding in future postings.

I seem to be getting condensation of juice at the bottom of this atty. any idea(s) why? Environmental factors do not suggest an explanation for this...nothing else is doing similar. Weird.
I have also.
The only thing I can think of, the seal is not quite tight. I think it comes from where the air control line is, where it meets the base of the atty.

I quit using it for a while and will revisit after I get the accessory for a tighter draw. Whenever HHV gets them in.

Received the MTL kit. Put the middle size in. On 2nd air setting on the tank - perfect draw. Can't comment on the taste, cuz it's a new juice, but those things work.
Can't comment on gurgling or oversaturating too, as it's in only for a few minutes.

Still no connection on the P3 Ti. You, guys, had suggestions, right?

When you received your atty, by any chance you disassembled the air flow?

I know you aren't asking me LOL but, I know I haven't. Hell, just getting it apart to build a coil was a challenge.

;) I've put it away for now. I will play around with it more. Don't worry, I won't give up on it. :D

Just waiting for the kit to get to HHV. After that, I will figure it all out. I'm good that way. ;)

Nice to hear that you haven't given up with the tank, good luck with tinkering and hope you get good results. Cheers!

I am having this issue, too....The flavor is great, but I'm wondering if I may need more wick?

I've experienced this with the KMV3 also. My best solution is to take off the base, including the bottom plate (unscrew center pin), clean it out, blow it out (blow into top air hole), dry it and be sure this hex plate is tight:

Picture is of a KMV3, but K5 has a similar hex plate. Also, once you've got that tightened down, be sure your center pin is tight also. These steps have eliminated the bottom plate seepage on several of my KMV3. Haven't seen it yet on the K5, but then, I tightened things up good before first use.

See above /\ /\ /\. I've found that too little wick in the wells causes leakage from the air flow channels, not the seepage from the base.

I absolutely love my K5! It is this flavor chaser's dream! I read many posts from folks who prefer the KMV3, but I've yet to get the same full flavor from the V3 that I'm getting from the K5.
