Nice! I like the Prime too but I like the expanded capacity with the K19 longmode kit.

Got to have the longmode, wouldn't of bought otherwise, 2 mil won't cut it for me, I have 5 primes, and all but the DLC Nite one have the longmode kits, only reason the DLC nite doesn't, because I never found one for it, not sure they even made one for it.

2 ml is too little for me too, I love the capacity of KFL'19 with long mode kit. It does not matter that it is bottom filling, with that capacity it is so rare I have to fill up.

They are making the Nite DLC long mode kit for Prime, not many weeks since I bought the set from Creme de vape. I also bought the PEI tank kit in Nite DLC coating for the Prime.

I'm afraid you're going to have to wait for someone who's a proper MTL'r to know if it really gains you anything. It doesn't do a thing for me, in fact, even with the Aerocontrollamathing™ removed the draw actually seems a tiny bit tighter than my K19! (same 1.8mm through hole, just a little more restriction in the horizontal opening)
Glad you’re filling us in on that new airflow gizmo.

Does anyone sell the Prime longmode kit anymore?

I'm still wondering why they're selling a complete new build deck with the upgrade kit. At a glance it looks to me like the only difference is the +post screw and the Aerokon restrictor screw, everything else seems the same. I was hoping they had to make the +post screw larger which would give me a little room to increase the bore.

If you take out the Aerokon needle, is the one with M3 and thread pitch 0.5?

You really raise very interesting questions, whether KFL'21 has such a special building deck that it was impossible without replacing the entire deck, or, that SvoeMesto thinks that customers are too lazy to swap out a couple of parts and went for the complete deck solution.

I can not answer any of it until I get a KFL21 myself, and it may take a few weeks before it happens, SvoeMesto is SvoeMesto, who knows when they bother to send to my local store.

In the meantime, I get to enjoy the pictures of your KFL'21, I must admit that aesthetically it is a beautiful tank to look at.

pbusardo has done a video on the new plus

I’m just not seeing any significant upgrades with this thing. Maybe if you never owned a K19 it would be worth going straight to this K20 or 21. But to lay out the dough they’re asking to get it in addition to a K19, uh not so much. Not even worth the K19 pin you can buy separately. Maybe I’m fortunate but my nylon airflow screw works perfectly fine.

This is a good and detailed review Mr.Busardo has made. I completely agree regarding the loose o-ring, it was the only annoying point I found on KFL'19, and it seems to be the same problem on KFL'21.

That said, we have two stores that are o-ring specialists in my city, but that is oil fittings they work with, there is one o-ring brand we vapers talked about, anyone can remember which brand?

No, the Aerokon pin is M3.5 x .5 and the 510/+post screw is larger in diameter which also effects the positive post. There's also a difference in the height of the positive post under the coil. I haven't measured everything yet to see where exactly the differences are located, but there's definitively differences. I'm vaping my 22mm and I don't want to open the 24mm yet in case I decide to sell, so I'll measure the 22 when I tear it down again.

Just wondering, with the new KFL20/21, if the aerothingie can be screwed all the way up tight, like snug against the airflow hole to lock the pressure in and act as a sort of JFC when flying.

My experience flying with the old KFL+ was to close the airflow screw down and fly with the tank upside down.

Oh yeah, it's air tight when you bottom it out against the deck...well maybe not completely air tight, but I can't suck anything through there, so surely it's "Juice-tight". Put it this way, if it were holding the air in your tire it would probably take a month to go flat!

That's actually one of the first things I thought of when I saw/felt how well it shuts-off against the deck. I'd trust them not to leak while flying WAY before my K4s and K5s!...not that they've ever made much of a mess during pressure changes from flying.
