I'll buy that. By going to the extreme I probably exaggerated the flavor differences. Kinda makes sense to me I guess...I'd hate to think I fell for the placebo!!

I really think the 21 was introduced mostly to fix the air problem with the 19 (which isn’t a problem for those who set it and forget it). They sweetened the deal by adding that dome tank. But they also charge you for it. So the way I’m seeing it, if you already have a 19 and have no reason to fiddle with the airflow then I see no advantage in adding the 21 to your arsenal. If you really want than dome tank you can always buy one separately.
Does anyone have experience removing a stuck grub screw? I'm interested to know what it involves.
I have more spare grub screws than I'll ever need, but if stuck/stripped grubs are impossible to remove I might consider the upgrade for longevity's sake.

Read some of the more recent posts on this thread. I believe someone mentioned about a week ago they used a hair dryer or heat gun.
If it were mine I'd drill it out by hand with a 2.5mm drill bit, but I own a Tool & Die shop. Second choice would be to heat up a small screwdriver enough to melt into the nylon, let it cool, then give 'er a spin. Like @Bronze said, a little heat might be the ticket.
If you don't have any luck just stick it in a padded envelope and mail it to me, I'll get it out. (No charge of course)

Just checked my KFL19's and my grub screws still work fine. I bought plenty of the longer ones (6mm IIRC) for spares as I had the feeling they would need replacing at some point. Still on my original ones.
After watching a couple videos I have zero interest in the new KFL with the Aerothingy. If SvM would have made the aerothingy so it fit in the KFL19 deck I would have grabbed a few.

Now I do not have the new KFL'21, it will probably come, one day or another.
Theoretically, the only advantage I can see with the new KFL'21 must be that one can adjust the airflow to how it hits the coil.
That said, there would be no such thing as state of the art engineering if they had redesigned the original KFL'19 to do the same.

Mine came from DICODES-USA (and they shipped out of Tenn??) They're listed at $109 there, but I'd "contact" them to check inventory!! I bought my 2019 at Vapinart.
It was 90 bucks. I have 3 authentics (2 I got used) and XS pins and spares kits and a cap.I can't hardly imagine there is 40 dollars difference between the 2019 with the XS pin and the 2020 plus. If they have a 40 dollar kit that fits the 2019, I'll find out.

The increase in price from the 19 to 21 is because they toss in a dome tank with the 21.

At this particular moment I (the guy who thought he was burned for $325) wouldn't hesitate to buy this tank from D-USA if you can get them to confirm they still have them in stock. I really don't think they're rip-off artist...Just poor management maybe? I'm thinking the workers that are filling the orders are doing their job, I think the problems arise when they don't have the inventory. Someone at the top is an arshole!
