Happy to be... Not Smoking!!!
Hi folks, been awful quiet in here.

I know many here are happy with their Primes, but I'm stuck with my V5 due to budgetary constrains.

Just wondering if anyone with both atomizers have tried swapping the centre posts and/or the AFC ring?

Trying to figure a way to cut down on the airflow of the V5 without resorting to the MTL kit.

Thanks!

You could try a more restrictive drip-tip...

I couldn't vape my K5 either without a MTL kit. That made all the difference in the world. Got to say I was miffed with svoemesto for saying the K5 could be adjusted down to KFL levels. That simply was not true. The MTL solved the problem but I should not of had to pay more for a kit to do what they said the K5 did. Love my K5 but it is too big for my smaller mods. The Prime fit the bill.

I was disheartened to do it, but the KF5 was the only Kayfun I sold.

I had too many gripes with the size and design.

Thankfully, a lot of those things were fixed with the Prime, although the general design remained the same.

I do wish the Prime had one more airflow hole on the larger size, but as it is, it works great for me.

Really considering grabbing another!

AND HHV is sold out. Who knows when they can get more. Svoemesto is weird with how they supply their suppliers. They definitely favor some over others.

I actually just sold my k5 today. Like you, I never liked the size and weight and af.

Ok so the Prime's afc ring does fit the k5 and because the prime only has one opening on the ring compared to both sides on the k5 ring, it definitely does tighten up the af....so I guess that's an option if you have a prime afc ring...

Very cool. Thank you for indulging my request @vapdivrr.

Now to figure out how to get my paws on a Prime AFC ring, or seal off the other air inlet on the V5's AFC.

You could seal it off with food grade silicone. I did that to a dual coil, dual air hole Genny tank that I wanted to use for just a single coil.

for me it's the opposite;i wish they'd add a 0.8mm opening to it.

cremedevape has it and buying from them makes the purchase cheaper as you don't pay the VAT.(not sure about the postage fee to the US though.)

svoemesto sells spare parts:Kayfun Prime spare parts - Kayfun Prime - Spare Parts

Took my prime to Jamaica with me, one of my better decisions!!

Are you a diver? If so, just curious if you dove there? I have dove most of the Caribbean, about 20 different islands, but never Jamaica. Not sure if it's a big dive destination, but have seen some vids and it looks pretty good.

Ooooo....
Divin' n vapin'.

Nothing quite like a good toot on some yummy juice after breathing dry air for an hour or so.

Have you dived around South-east Asia?

Well, I don't know how but I did it. I took this rather simple little jewel apart for a cleaning. When I re-assembled it, I must have gotten it wrong. All of the air flow settings seem the same, very restrictive. I took it back apart several times but don't see how I could have messed this thing up. It is probably something simple and I will feel like a fool when it is explained to in single syllable words. But if you have a thought, be kind, but tell me.

OK, start with this. I'm assuming you took the center pin out?? When you put that bottom hex plate back in you have to be sure you line up the dots corresponding to the correct air hole. Six dots with largest air, one dot with smallest air.
