No leg lenghts are usually included to what everyone else gets....maybe your using SS wire, if so, it has a lower resistance. ....8 wraps of kanthal at 2.5 should be closer to 1.4 ish....you also could be using a 2mm rod instead of 2.5, or perhaps using 26g kanthal? If I had to guess, by your numbers, I would say your using 26g kanthal, because at 2.5 coil and 8 wraps, it would be around 1 ohm......if this is the case, I would drop a wrap or two, to get around .7 ohms, this way it would heat faster...if you really want 1.4 ohms, you need 28g. I mean 8 wraps of 26g could just be a little to much mass and lenght, but it should vape pretty good

Could be NI20: Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculatorsIm positive its a 2.5 coil and its 2.8g wire. The package doesnt say if its SS or kanthal so maybe the guy gave me SS instead of kanthal like i asked for... busy vape shops..
Could be....and fyi, it's 28 gauge, not 2.8 gauge. This gauge isn't even it's size in mm, for like 28g is something likeIm positive its a 2.5 coil and its 2.8g wire. The package doesnt say if its SS or kanthal so maybe the guy gave me SS instead of kanthal like i asked for... busy vape shops..

Only thing left is a magnet mate...![]()
Nothing wrong with sub-ohming...at the right wattage. Doesn't make you a cloudbro. Not that there's anything wrong with that.this one ( 8 wraps ) giving me 0.7. Guessing its not kanthal then. Well sub ohming it is then.

.33mm. So how is the 8 wrap, .7 ohm vaping?

When the airflow ring is down it feels pretty much air tight. When lifted up to change airflow it's not air tight at all.I have two questions for anyone who have the Authentic KFP:
What are the sizes of the 3 o-rings on the base? ( You can measure the ones in the spare o-rings bag )
With the airflow ring down, If you block the air slot with your finger and blow or suck , does air escape through the seem between the airflow ring and the tank or is it air tight? Now if you push the airflow ring up to adjust it and try again, is air tight?

Thanks for the reply AstroTurf.Mines loosey goosey
YesThanks for the reply AstroTurf.
Just to confirm, You have an authentic KFP and it is not air tight when air flow ring is down while blocking the air slot?
Air seems to be entering from here?
