I missed it. Oh well, these things just get my blood pressure up anyway.

Katya... yep. .......s, the lot of them. If only they could use as much energy and fervor to do something useful, like repair a road, add a few freeway lanes, or build a reservoir or two. Instead of those things, that would actual benefit a working stiff like myself by providing a better commute (and more time with my family), or reasonably priced water, we'll debate whether e-cigarettes are tobacco products.... because THAT is IMPORTANT right now.

Just more evidence of worthless, clueless people that run California.

True, but I have to get over the dry heaves first. Lost track of the number of lies they've told or how many times they used the "children" excuse.

To tie into my other comment above, I have a child that never sees me because I spend 2+ hours each way getting to and from work.

If we really want to "help the children", how about some wider freeways so that I can be home for her, instead of attacking e-cigs.

Tough day, we're not dead yet though, the fight continues.

It does? What can be done now?

Ya sure that word is allowed? If so...... Aaaaaaaaaaa LOUD.

.......S!!

All together now!

Looking on the bright side--in 2009, vaping was almost banned. Banned!

I don't see anybody trying to ban vaping now, so that's progress.

I think. :grr:

The lies are what astound me. They sit there and lie right in your face. They know the truth and lie anyway, on record.

Floor votes, contact your Senators and Assembly Members, urge them to vote No.

My dear Endor. Where did you get the idea that they want to do something useful or actually help people?

They need to raise 1 billion dollars. Probably more now, after the market crash....

The Kleenex is to DRY your tears, so you can SEE the names on the ballot! And read the phone numbers of the offices of our electeds, and to cough into, clear your throat and say the truth.

But that bag MIGHT just come in handy.....

Well that whole Hearing kinda left a Sick Feeling in the Back of My Throat.

I was though Encourage by the Level of Support Turn Out that was Present. And I hope the Representative is corrected when He said that he thought that "Every Vape Shop Owner was present today."

Someone should remind him that what he Saw was a Miniscule Fraction. And that they can All be Registered Voters.

The One thing that I though was a Missed Opportunity was with regards to ABX2-9.

If we as Vapers, or Advocacy Groups, do not Oppose ABX2-9 then perhaps we should have Shown Support for it?

Is there something in ABX2-9 that we should Oppose?

I'll admit to only giving it a cursory glance. I think what it mainly does is extend tobacco free policy to include charter schools, like it does public schools. I'm not sure if the vape/THR community as a whole supports that.

That and that they are successful businesses with loyal customers who are also registered voters.

Have to go back and look at which 9 was. Closed all tabs while screaming, ".......S!"

If that was it, they were talking about extending it to college campuses. BS.

ETA - They may not support it, but it shouldn't be given over to nazi tactics. As a whole, they've already said they support the 18 yo limit but oppose 21.

"tobacco free campuses" with the accepted amendments clarifying that "tobacco" also refers to e-cigarettes whether or not they contain nicotine.

That's not one that I would support, personally.

Also, for anyone who thinks "they" won't go after 0mg liquids, I hope you're paying attention.

California college campuses have much bigger problems than that--binge drinking, hard drugs, rape and suicide.

And all UC campuses are already smoke- and vape-free. I have two kids attending UC schools and I see kids vaping everywhere.
So far, nobody has died from vaping....

Absolutely not. But it might have been too late for them to regroup on that. Which one was it where they came forward and opposed seeing as the .......s were now intending to lump vaping, nic or no, in with smoking. Think it was the indoor smoking ban.

Yeah, the workplace smoking bill, which is really just amending an existing bill, seems utterly ridiculous. From what I can tell there are two "loopholes" they are closing.
1. owner operated business - where the ONLY worker is the person who OWNS the business
2. tobacco shops(which will include vape shops if ab6/sb5 pass) and manufacturers(including e-liquid manufacturers) - this would now also include 0mg nic liquids. No sampling, no trouble shooting, no testing your own recipes indoors.
