I seem to be okay vaping ALOT on 18 or 24mg juice or cartridges. If I want to sit there and just puff puff puff I have some 6mg that works for such applications.

I guess what I would say to people is something like "would you rather I die on cigs or live with vapes?" that's what I would say.

Think about how nicotine patches work:
You start out on a 24mg patch that is delivering nicotine constantly.Every second of every minute of every hour.
Then you step it down to 14mg then 7mg.
What I am saying is that logically you really couldn't vape the equivalent of a what nicotine patch does.

That's just what my logic says, tho.

Stay with it and good luck! :)

I agree with you, but also think about the bioavailability of transdermal nicotine versus inhaled. I haven't compared the two but my guess is that you get less when you have a patch on. Correct me if I am wrong, I am just elaborating on that part and I totally agree 100% on your entire message.

I believe that you get alot more nic with the patch than vaping. I can't remember where I heard this tho. I have to look for it.

When I First Started, I vaped like I smoked.

Take some hits, Put it Down. Take some hits, Put it Down.

But more and more I found myself Holding Onto my PV when I wasn't using it. I chocked this up to having quit Cigarettes. I was just Stressed Out and it was something that would pass given time.

But it Didn't Pass. In fact, I found myself carrying my PV around Constantly. And I was Chain Vaping a Lot of the Time. I started to think about taking a Hit when I was in the Grocery Store. Or the Hardware store or in a Restaurant or Movies. Places I would never have Smoked or even thought about Smoking slowly seemed to be OK.

This struck me as somewhat Alarming because one of the Reasons I wanted quit Cigarettes was to Break the Constant Dependencies of Having to Have a Cigarette. That and the work I do is in an a Smoke / Vape Free Environment. No Stealth Vaping. No Exceptions.

It seemed to me that I had traded one Addiction which was Manageable but was Very Un-Health for Another Addiction that was Perhaps Healthier but was Not as Manageable. It Wasn't what I wanted.

So I started to Not Carry my PV when I went to Stores or Restaurants or to the Movies. I just left it in my car. And I started to use my PV more like a Cigarette when I was at Home. Take some Hits, Put it Down. Take some Hits, Put it Down.

I needed to get back to being able to go 2 or 3 hours Without thinking about Vaping. Just like when I Smoked. Not just for Work but also to not feel like I had a Monkey on my Back constantly telling me to Vape.

The first week was Difficult. It felt like I was quitting Smoking again. But after about 10 Days those feelings of taking a Hit off my PV in Non-Smoking Places just Disappeared. More and More the Grip of having to use my PV Lessened. Sometimes I would get into my Car to run an Errand and forget to bring my PV. No Problem. Just do the Errand and take a Couple of Hits when I got home.

The Big Thing was that Work became Much Easier not thinking about taking a Hit all thru the day.

So for Me, No... I Don't Chain Vape Anymore. And I like it Much Better than when I did.
