Good morning. Last to post and then the first? Am I hogging Voltville? Anyway, this song has been in my head, so I'll share. It's from the album Bookends, which has some very good songs on it. I guess autumn coming, and me being in the autumn of my life makes it resonate, though I liked it when I was young, too.

Thank you for this! "Bookends" is one of my favorites of Simon & Garfunkel's albums. I have them all.

And no - you're not hogging Voltville! Folks just seem to be quiet in spells ...

Mornin' Sandy and Lizzie and Voltville in general. :)

Yesterday I taught myself how to rebuild Protank and Evod heads. It wasn't rough to figure out how to do it after I tore one apart. Now I have a couple dozen fresh heads and I'll never have to buy them again!! :D I'm not up to trying to rebuild Aspires yet.

You are so talented, Raven. That seems complicated.

I just use cartos with carto tanks. It's not too bad of a price to do the cartos and the tanks are lasting for over a year now.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Congrats on rebuilding the Protanks, Rave. I've been fooling with a Fogger V4.1 and it is an amazing device. Easy to build, compared to Protanks/CE3/T3 style things and puts out more vapor, flavor and nic hit than any of those can by far. It doesn't need to be built "sub ohm".in fact I'm using it at 2 ohms right now very successfully. It does need a VV/VW mod with a decent battery, 2000ma or larger. I did "tweak" it a bit, new screws with washers for the coil screws and drilled out the air holes a bit, but even without the drilling it was amazing. I also think cellulose, rayon, for a wick material helps one heck of a lot.

Tritium, for a non-mechanic you seem to be doing really doing really well! I've worked on all kinds of automotive stuff and would probably never fool with clutch springs, tht's really getting down to the nitty grtitty!

I have cut myself down to eight floral teas and sixteen "other." I have rebuilt my clearo heads for months. I have eighteen spare heads, three of which are waiting for the time when I have enough for a rebuilding session. I have five cartotanks and one iClear 30 (the new one). $17.06 Taifun GT Style Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 5.0ml / stainless steel + PC tank at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping just got listed at FT. I calculated how many tank cartos I would have to go through in order to buy one of this, and I decided it is a better economy in the long run. So it is a matter of when, rather than if.

As for cellulose and wire finer than 32 gauge, that can wait.

I haven't tried the Fogger yet, but I've become a bit of a Kayfun groupie. So easy to rebuild and no tweaking required. Well .... except that I had to put a bit of folded up fishing line in the airflow tube to exorcise a whistle. I like the Kayfun more than my AGA-T2, Rockets, or Genesis RBA's. I'm off of Genesis for good. Messing with that mesh in a pain! But, I still like a lot of toppers that use Protank/Evod heads.

Yeah - I put off learning how to rebuild clearo heads until I built up the courage. I'm complete done with cartotanks. Hate messing with cartos and don't want to have to keep buying them. It seems I'm always in Vape Armageddon mode. It's my goal to be completely set if I'm unable to get any of the required elements.

I've not tried the Taifun because I've read that it has a hard draw unless you remove a piece that controls the airflow. I can't see myself drilling out metal things. Too much of a spaz, although I have drilled vent holes in mods where required.

If you like airflow, you should try the Orchid V2. Super easy to build too, even though it's dual coil. My only conundrum with it is in trying to "Kayfunnisize" it with all my fun KF stuff (special top caps, different tanks,..). Reminds me of all those goofy souped up VWs with Rolls engines.

I just started with RBAs - got one of each - and really enjoying my Pulse genny. So much so that I'm thinking about the Sat 22 genny. But I didn't mess with mesh. I skipped right over to rayon. Rayon wicks really well in it if you wisp out the tail.

I haven't tried the TF either. I heard it puts out really well, but it's 23mm wide, so it'll have to wait 'til I can get a 23mm mod to go with it.

Lizzie, your asters look pretty much like the ones that grow wild around here. They are blooming now along with lots of goldenrod. Here are our wild asters, taken some time ago, not recently.

Maybe they are a domestic variety that went wild?

We also have a variety that grows wild that has pale blue petals and is just a little smaller.

OK, I found a picture of the blue kind. The pine (actually fir, not pine, I just realized) branches just happened to be growing close by, they aren't part of the aster plant, of course.

I was looking at the Orchid, it is much less expensive than the Taifun. So do you recommend it for a first RBA?

Your nearest hydrogen bomb.
Hey guys, hope you are all great today.
Got back from a powerplant we moved 5 tons of batteries by hand, another 23 tons to go. I can only move my eyes and i write with my nose lol.
Have to find a way to install iGO gps to a motorola atrix (isn't atrix a hand creme?).

Roland Peugeot speedfights (1,2,3 models) are the only things i know, don't ask me how but i know how much torque each and every screw needs, how the immobilizer communicates with the cdi, every electrical connection. Can dissasemble them to pieces and back....

Jer, where you been? Good to see you!
I'm around, Lizzie, just not posting much, plus I have been doing other things. After almost 5 years on the forum, I'm getting a bit tired of "forum life". Maybe that will change, especially with the cold weather just around the corner.

I know that feeling, although it doesn't take moving 5 tons of batteries to do me in:)
