moanin', Volties.

Yes, I want to "remote" an 18650 and maintain the functionality of the air switch and ASIC to use CE3s with it. The cord/cable/wire doesn't have to be particularly long or heavy. The maximum current will be under two amps so 20 gauge wire should be more than enough. I was thinking about using an innokin charge cable, retractable cable, for the wire. That way it can be easily coiled or extended as needed. I'll probably use a short piece of heat shrink on the barrel to secure the wire and provide a strain relief of sorts.

Good morning, Voltpeeps.

Maybe you should have a warning with your description, Awsum. Don't try this at home, voltpeeps, unless you are Tritium, Awsum or Cindycated:)

This year's greenhouse babies. I had to bring them inside since it was super cold but cloudy, sunny, cloudy, sunny. You can't keep the greenhouse a good temperature under those conditions since it heats up when the sun is out but then the windows are opened to keep it cooler. Then the clouds cool off the greenhouse so you need to keep the windows closed. Open, close, open, close. I can't keep up with that.

They will be going back in the greenhouse today.

SandySu - It is very nice that your friend will let you play with her horsey.

I thought you were still tutoring the little goobers. How are they doing? Is the boy getting any better at writing?

I think a lot of your plants look pretty good.

They seem a little dry to me although it is hard to say from afar. Still, I'm thinking some water in the morning and the evening. With the peat pots, you can definitely pour some water in the pan and the pots will soak it up.

You also should be giving the plants that are a week or two old some very light fertilizer. I use MiracleGrow at less than 25% every three or four days. Only on the plants that are sprouted, not on seeds.

Strawberries are generally grown from the runner babies so they may be difficult to start from seed.

I'm just growing in case his don't work out but they will so i will plant those at the stable which is near by. I also grow some of the difficult stuff like the strawberries.

Good idea though, they sell around 0.5 euro here.

Well i use both.
The Tilemahos with just a battery fires like a cannon even if the battery reaches 50% but it consumes a lot of e-liquid. Not many miles per gallon.
Electronics are nice too with the fogger and the iclears, much more controllable.
Right now i am using an X2 with an old style 555 carto :D :D and SI 555 because i'm out.

No device however produces the amount of vapor and taste as the tilemahos, i wonder how it will work out on a electronic mod..., right now has too low resistance to use it on my devices.

Nothing like the good old 78mm.

It is almost noon and I finally finished the North and the Northwest irrigation zones setup. That took me all morning!

I moved the irrigation manifolds to inside the veggie garden and away from the faucet using a 15 foot irrigation pipe that Hubby glued hose ends onto. A three way manifold went onto that.

Then, a heavy duty filter and a heavy duty pressure regulator that can take being under constant pressure on the right hand manifold valve.

From there I put on a double manifold. Both zones got their own timer.

I then had to run the 3/4 inch tubing across the field to the NW zone. I used a T to tie the old system on that side into the new line. I cut off the old line where used to tie in to the system and closed it.

I ran 1/2 tubing with built in drippers behind the long shed and greenhouse. No more individual drippers on teensey weensey 1/4 inch lines. So much more efficient and easier to maintain.

I still had to run a new 3/4 inch line to the North Zone and T it into the old system. Then, I cut off that line where it used to run to the old manifold and closed off the old line where it used to start at.

I am so ready for lunch and a nap on the couch.

Then, I can finally finish hooking up the veggie garden onto the left manifold valve.

The garden hose will go in the center manifold valve. Then, I'm done!!!!!

I do get tastey produce that is fresh. Something that is hard to find here in Nevada.

We pay electricity to pump water and we have to have drip tubing to have a garden so we pay for all of that.

And I definitely save on winter squash and melons which are very pricey to buy.

Have you looked into solar panels to run the pumps, Lizzie?
And do you have your garden zoned by growing conditions (like how much water/sun it needs, etc.)?
(Not suggesting anything, just curious and clueless)

For me, it would be a purely budgetary need to grow my own food. I simply can't afford to buy the food that I like to eat (like blueberries, fresh basil, good tomatoes that weren't nuked in the truck,...). :(

Cindy, with the drip systems you can install a head that matches the needs of each plant. I use 1gph heads for tomatoes and such and either 3gpm or variable rate heads for cukes, squash and the blueberries. I think Lizzie's garden gets plenty of sun, everywhere, LOL. Even with a drip system the gph rate can get high for a layout the size Lizzie is using. That would mean a major investment in solar panels to run a big enough pump.

Heck, 3ml isn't a tank, that's a clearo! My favorites are the Erlkonigin (clone) at 6ml and the Big Fogger at 10ml.

It's supposed to rain tomorrow so I'll have some time to fool around in the basement and see what I can do for a "super cig-a-like auto" system.
